  • Controlling images of nodes in a TreeView

    I am trying to make a folder explorer using TreeView control. now, I added an ImageList with two images - one for a folder and the other for selected folder. I used the 'BeforeExpand' event to change the icon of the current node (folder). The problem is that I dont know how to change it back when the user selects other folder... what event can I use? Maybe I dont use it right... ?

    I have two basic SQL Server tables: Customer (ID [pk], AddressLine1, AddressLine2, AddressCity, AddressDistrict, AddressPostalCode) CustomerAddress(ID [pk], CustomerID [fk], Line1, Line2, City, District, PostalCode) CustomerAddress contains multiple addresses for the Customer record. For each Customer record I want to merge the most recent CustomerAddress record where most recent is determined by the highest CustomerAddress ID value. I've currently got the following: UPDATE Customer SET AddressLine1 = CustomerAddress.Line1, AddressPostalCode = CustomerAddress.PostalCode FROM Customer, CustomerAddress WHERE Customer.ID = CustomerAddress.CustomerID which works but how can I ensure that the most recent (highest ID) CustomerAddress record is selected to update the Customer table?

    Hi, I have created a user control ( custom data grid view control). I have used the code specified at MSDN [site][1] [1]: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316574 to set the border style . I am able to see the selected border style in designer. Like None, FixedSingle or Fixed3D. But when I set the border style to FixedSingle, the border does not appear at runtime. Do I need to draw it manually in the OnPaint method?

    I have a group of checkboxes where the user selects some of the weekdays (the opening days of a store). How can I save the selected days? Should I save something like 0111111 (zero means closed on sunday) on the same field and split the result when reading the data? Or create a field for each day and store 0 or 1 on each (weird)?

  • WPF bind IsEnabled on other controls if a listbox has a select item

    I have a grid with 2 columns, a listbox in column 0 and a number of other controls in the a secondary grid in the main grids column 1. I want this controls only to be enabled (or perhaps visible) if an items is selected in the listbox through binding. I tried on a combo box: IsEnabled="{Binding myList.SelectedIndex}" But that does not seem to work. Am I missing something? Should something like this work? thanks

    hi, Upon page reload, all the nodes expand and then only the selected node remain expanded which is the desired behavior. However, I'd like to prevent all the nodes from expanding upon refresh as it creates a flicker. Has anyone else experience this behaviour? How can I turn it off? Thanks

    Hi all, i'm using putClientProperty("terminateEditOnFocusLost", Boolean); to make jtable end editing and clear current selected rows when it lose focus or when simply click over an other GUI component. This is very useful, but with "terminateEditOnFocusLost" there are some strange behaviours if it is used with editCellAt and changeSelection. There are also some undesiderable TableModelEvents fired for some fake table updates. So, im looking for an hack to simulate "terminateEditOnFocusLost without using it, is this possibile?     I want to place a player (flash) in the top-right corner of a page and that player will change it songs based on what play button is clicked (they are in the center of the page). Do I have to use ActionScript in order to accomplish that? If I have to, how? I want something like hits: Each time the user clicks one of the 10 buttons the song playing in the player in the top-right should change into the selected song. Thanks in advance!
