  • Error during installation of Mesa on Linux

    Hello, I have a problem. I try to install Mesa 7.8 on CentOS 3.9 for i386 on VMVare 7.0.1 like described here: http://linux-sxs.org/multimedia/mesa.html When I perform configuration stage: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ [root@CentOS Mesa-7.8]# ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ (root is actualy root) This is what I get: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ . . . checking pkg-config files for X11 are available... no checking for X... no configure: error: X11 development libraries needed for dri driver ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ (Three dots says that there is some output before) Put attention to error.   • new operator overwriting an existing object

    I have a custom FastStack class, implemented as a fixed size array and an index into that array. In my copy constructor, I allocate the array and then assign each object from the copy's array into the new array. There's some refcounting in the objects on the stack, hence assignment is used rather than a simple copy. The problem is that when allocating the array, it sometimes overwrites part of the other stack's array. My first instinct is to say that new should never be allocating memory that is already in use, but that clearly seems to be the case here and I am at a complete loss as to what can be done. Added: At the time that I see this happen, m_size = 2 and m_ptr = 0.

  • Finding existing tickets before opening new ones on trac

    We're using Trac as the task management tool at the project we work in. However, Trac search is maybe not the most intuitive search out there, and we end up having multiple duplicates as the reporters can't effectively find if there already is a reported ticket of the question he or she found. Stack Overflow's "Related Questions" concept is great and works magnificently! I was wondering if someone has heard of some similar plugin to Trac, or if you have solved this problem some other way.

  • getting error 500 with .htaccess when pointing an existing file / folder (mod_rewrite)

    i made a simple .htaccess file to expose the problem. I want that all request made to the folder redirect to a subfolder file "app/index.php" RewriteEngine On RewriteRule (.*) app/index.php [QSA] And this works fine on with the basic url of my hoster (like http//myname.hosting.com/htaccessFolder The problem is that i have a domain pointing on this folder, and when accessed to it, server return Internal Server Error 500. If i do this : RewriteEngine On RewriteRule (.*) somefile.php [QSA] Redirection works only when file does not exists (404 not found error occured). when the file exists i get a 500 error too. I've asked the hosting support without success for the moment..

    Hi, I need to document a web application which wasn't built by me. It was built in symfony. The documentation needed is code documentation, including list/description of classes, components etc and their interdependencies. At the moment the code isn’t commented much and the way it has been commented is inconsistent. I was thinking of using Doxygen to generate initial documentation and then take it from there. Even though the installation process has been described a number of times, but still I haven't found the information to solve the problem.     Hi guys, I am trying to install PEAR in my WAMP-server. The go-pear.bat is running as intended, but when it comes to changing the directories, it all goes wrong. I have followed this guide: http://phphints.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/installing-pear-package-manager-on-wamp/ The 9th line of configuration, Public Web Files directory, will not change upon command and instead says Input file error, no file extension in C:\documents I am running XP SP3. Is there anyone else who had experienced this slight issue? Thanks!

  • Adding property:value pairs from GooglemapsAPI to an existing json/javascript object

    I am trying to create a script that finds the closest store/location to a customer using googlemapsAPI. So I've got a json object which is a collection of store objects. Using Jquery's .each to iterate through that object, I am grabbing the driving time from the customer to each store. If it finds the directions, It copies the duration of the drive which is an object with the time in seconds and a human readable value. That appears to work, however when I try to sort through all of those store objects with the drivetime added, I cannot read the object copied from google. If I console.log the whole object, 'closest_store', It shows the values I'm looking for. When I try to read the values directly via closest_store.driveTime, Firebug is outputting undefined in the console.   • Insert names into table if not already existing

    I am trying to build an application that allows users to submit names to be added to a db table (runningList). Before the name is added tho, I would like to check firstname and lastname against another table (controlList). It must exist in (controlList) or reply name not valid. If the name is valid I would like to then check firstname and lastname against (runningList) it make sure it isnt already there. If it isnt there, then insert firstname & lastname. If it is there, reply name already used. Below is code that worked before I tried to add the test against the controlList, I somehow broke it altogether while trying to add the extra step. if (mysql_num_rows(mysql_query('SELECT * FROM runninglist WHERE firstname=\'' .$firstname . Do a merge with the 'target origin' Change the origin repo in my config file to the 'target origin' Also, if my local repo is not entirely identical to the new origin (say, I've resolved some merge conflicts in my favor), will these changes be pushed to the new origin when I do a git push, or will only commits made after the change of origin get pushed?

But how is it possible to do this leaving others like NULL, blanks and garbage.     sorry for the (probably) noob question, but I', new at this stuff. i have a table that has column 'position', and I want to, when inserting a new row, change positions of every row that has position lower than row that is inserted. for example, if I add row with position 4, if there is a duplicate, it should become 5, 5 should shift to 6 and so on... also, is there a way to get highest value for column besides testing it in every row via php?

  • Porting existing code from C# 2.0 to C#3.0 and .Net 3.5 (possibly .net 4.0)

    Our one and only enterprise application suite has been developed over last 3 years using C# 2.0 on .Net 3.0. We use winforms and WCF heavily. The development tools is VS 2005 Pro / TFS 2005 / Resharper 3.1 As technical lead I obviously understand the benefits in a move to C#3.0 and .Net 3.5. But I want to convince management for a move to C#3.0, .Net 3.5, VS 2008 and TFS 2008. They will obviously be interested in things like productivity, cost, quality etc. Please suggest me some ideas on how best to make my case. Given that this may not happen till mid next year am I better off to hold till VS 2010 and .Net 4.0 is out.

  • Creating a new variable in C from only part of an existing u_char

    I'm writing some C code to parse IEEE 802.11 frames, but I'm stuck trying to create a new variable whose length depends on the size of the frame itself. Here's the code I currently have: int frame_body_len = pkt_hdr->len - radio_hdr->len - wifi_hdr_len - 4; u_char *frame_body = (u_char *) (packet + radio_hdr->len + wifi_hdr_len); Basically, the frame consists of a header, a body, and a checksum at the end. I can calculate the length of the frame body by taking the length of the packet and subtracting the length of the two headers that appear before it (radio_hdr->len and wifi_hdr_len respectively), plus 4 bytes at the end for the checksum. However, how can I create the frame_body variable without the trailing checksum? Right now, I'm initializing it with the contents of the packet starting at the position after the two headers, but is there some way to start at that position and end 4 bytes before the end of packet? packet is a pointer to a u_char, if it helps. I'm a new C programmer, so any and all advice about my code you can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi All I have just got a new company mobile and would like to begin developing apps for the HTC HD2 Mobile Phone. However, when I downloaded Microsoft Windows Phone Developer Tools, it pretty much said right at the end of installation that "Setup could not install correctly", and I clicked on "more", and it said "Silverlight 4.0 could not install correctly". So, the fact that Windows Phone Dev Tools couldn't install completely was because of this Silverlight 4 that couldn't install! Has anyone had the same problems, if so, how did you resolve this issue (if you did)? And... Is there another way to develop applications for mobile phones running the Windows Operating System other than XNA and Windows Dev Tools? Even better... Could it be done simply using the current Visual Studio Express Edition I already have? Thanks All

    I am writing my first custom column name applier for ConfORM. How do I check if another column has already been map with same mapping name? Because I am shortening the column names it is possible that I generate the same name for two different properties. I would like to know when a duplicate mapping occurs. If I don't handle this scenario ConfORM/NHibernate allows two different properties to 'share' the same column name - this is obviously creates a problem for me.

  • Lost in Nodester Installation

    I am trying to install my own version of Nodester. I have tried on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and now with CentOS. I am not the most skilled Linux user (~2 months use) so I am at a loss at this point. The instructions are located at https://github.com/nodester/nodester/wiki/Install-nodester#wiki-a. I tried changing quot; to colons and that didn't help. I also removed that and it didn't help (I am sure many of you at this point are probably wondering why I would even try those things). Does anyone have any insight as to what I need to do to get this to run properly?
