  • MS Chart Control Scale - Line graph show 12 months

    Hi, On my X Axis, I have months. The chart shows up to 11 points, i.e. Jan - Nov of the same year, but when I add 12 points (Jan - Dec), it will do an auto label thing and change the interval for every 4 months. How can I change the graph so that it shows 12 months before it does the auto labels?   • Chrome Extension - Cross-Origin XMLHttpRequest - Returning HTML/JSON

    Hi everyone, I hope you can help me :) I've created a Chrome extension (my first one) and I'm having some difficulty auto-populating a <select> with <option> that are being returned. the default_popup page is index.htm. I have two <select> (listboxes? can't remember the name) boxes. When a user first clicks the extension, it performs a XMLHttpRequest to a php script and get's a list of names from a MySQL database. It returns (onLoad) the list in the form of: <option>blah</option> When a user selects an option from the first listbox/select, it performs another XMLHttpRequest and auto-populates the second listbox/select. Then when a user selects an option from the second listbox it will eventually populate a few details further down the page. I've been testing by just running the index.htm file and seeing if just the code works correctly, which it does. However when trying to view it from the extension, it doesn't work. The onLoad doesn't fill in the first listbox, and selecting an option (one that I typed in the box for testing purposes) from the first listbox doesn't populate the second listbox. I thought maybe it was a permissions error, so I tried adding the domain to the manifest.json file; but I appear to be getting an error in the manifest.json file after doing so. The domain I am accessing through the PHP/MySQL is accessible from the web, but I'm currently using localhost in my mysql_connect string. Do I need to be returning the <option> elements encoded as JSON? If so, I'm completely cluesless as how to do that.

    I need a System.Windows.Forms.FlowLayoutPanel that only auto scrolls vertically. WrapContents is false, and I want it to work like a vertical stack panel. I can't find a way to disable the horizontal scroll. I've googled it, can't find a usable solution so far. The alternative is to abandon the FlowLayoutPanel, and try another control. What acts somewhat like a WPF stack panel but that expands and shrinks vertically with the contained controls?

Now I have switched to InnoDB, which I assume caused this problem, and now NULL != NULL. So for the following table: ID (Auto) | Field_A | Field_B | Field_C I can insert (Field_A,Field_B,Field_C) Values(1,2,NULL) (1,2,NULL) (1,2,NULL) infinitely many times. How can I prevent this behavior?

    I have a bash script that uses growlnotify to send notifications. However, growlnotify doesn't work if Growl isn't already running, and it won't auto start Growl if it needs it, either. So I want to be able to check if Growl is running, and then start it if it isn't. When I do webBrowser1.Document.Body.InnerHtml = webBrowser1.Document.Body.InnerHtml; It turns off some JavaScript code, for example for Google.com it turns off auto completion. Why is that? I suppose it has something to do with JavaScript initialization, if so how can I reinitialize the page?

A bit about good form: My DAL has no direct table access, and my DB only has execute permissions for that user to my sprocs. As such, SubSonic only generates the AllStructs and StoredProcedures classes.     I have a Silverlight TextBox control that is inside of a Grid column with the width set to 'Auto', so the TexBox's width expands/contracts with the browser window is resized. Unfortunately, when the number of characters entered into the textbox exceeds the textbox's width, the textbox grows to accommodate it. Are there any properties that can be applied to the textbox that will force it to not expand with the number of characters inside of it? Thanks.

    I am using Jquery Cycle Plugin and it has a side panel that highlights as the photos change and currently when I click on the text the associated photo pulls up then I have to click on the photo to go to the URL but I would like the text itself to link to the URL. I have looked at the fn.cycle.defaults but not sure what to change and I tried a few things but nothing works. If anyone can help me figure this out it would be most helpful. Visual studio has great editing and auto complete for regular XSL, I was wondering if there is any way to add this functionality for FOP tags. At least is there a way to stop it from thinking the file is hopelessly broken due to the tags? Thanks.

  • CSS UL removing indent in IE

    See: Page I am having problems with IE, In FF and Chrome the navigation at the top displays fine. However in IE8 (with or without compatibility) the UL seems to indent from the left hand side, not each li just the whole li; despite declaring text-align:center; width:600px; margin:auto; padding-left:0;. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks, Jamie
