    I have a fairly simple requirement -I have a table with the following (relevant) structure. with cte as( select 1 id,'AA,AB,AC,AD' names union all select 2,'BA,BB' union all select 3,'CA,CB,CC,CD,CE' union all select 4,'DA,DB,DC' ) i would like to create a select statement which will split each "names" column into multiple rows. For example the first row should produce 1,'AA' 1,'AB' 1,'AC' 1,'AD' Can we do it using only SQL. This is failry easy to do in Oracle.

    HI, I am parsing an XML file using LibXML in Perl. The problem that I have is the ending characters (whitespace) is treated as a text node. For instance, given an input like the following abc 123 The parser thinks that the number of child of node "books" is 3, they are: - text node (containing the char between and - element node of "book" - text node (containing the char between and Question is how do I tell LibXML to ignore whitespaces? I tried with no_blanks (that is $parser = XML::LibXML-new(no_blanks = 1) when construction the parser) but it seems that it has no effect. Thanks in advance

  • Munin email notification

    I am trying to get munin to notify me via email. I have configured munin and it reports critical and warning values but no alerts are being sent neither is any script being called. Can you please help me out with this?     Let's say I have a simple TextBox next to a Label: <StackPanel> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Label Margin="3">MyLabel</Label> <TextBox Margin="3" Width="100">MyText</TextBox> </StackPanel> ... </StackPanel> This yields the following result: As you can see, the base lines of MyLabel and MyText are not aligned, which looks ugly. Of course, I could start playing around with the margins until they match up, but since this is such a common requirement I'm sure that WPF provides a much easier and more elegant solution, which I just haven't found yet...

To get this value I am using below regex regex => q/^process,(?:.*?),((?:\d+)\.(?:\d+))%,java$/, but for the linux system I have below output. process,26190,user1,20,0,1236m,43m,6436,S,0.0,1.1,0:00.00,java, here the cpu usage is at 10th column What regex pattern should i use to get this value.     I'm trying to come up with a regex to be able to parse the following type of strings into groups. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]/feed.xml" /> My regular expression is: \[\!(.+)\!\] The problem with this expression is that it seems to pull it all into 1 group: Found 1 match: "[!PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot!]" has 1 group: 1. "PageTitle!]" href="[!SiteRoot" I want dont want the regex to continue...am I missing a boundary? Ideally I want it to find 2 groups, [!PageTitle!] and [!SiteRoot!]

  • Reversed Latitude/Longitude US Tiger/Line Shape File to MySQL w/ OGR2OGRP

    Hi - I've downloaded the latest set (2010) of TIGER edge shape files (ESRI shapefile format) from the US Census website and am loading them into MySQL using the GDAL ogr2ogr utility. A new table (geotest) does get created with a SHAPE column that has the geometry defined as a LINESTRING. However, I am seeing reversed latitude and longitude values that get reversed when running the following command: ogr2ogr -f "MySQL" MySQL:"geo,user=lejeuned,host=localhost,password=cnickl234" -nln geotest -nlt LINESTRING -append -a_srs "EPSG:4326" -lco engine=MYISAM tl_2010_01021_edges.shp Mapping the latitude/longitude (after reversing them of course) they appear to be spot on so I suspect there is just something I am doing wrong or flag I am missing which is causing the latitude and longitudes to be transposed. When I select the SHAPE column using astext() I get the following result: LINESTRING(-86.69863 32.973164,-86.69853 32.97302,-86.69856 32.97287,-86.698613 32.972825,-86.6988 32.972825,-86.6989 32.972892,-86.6989 32.973002,-86.69874 32.97316,-86.69864 32.97318,-86.69863 32.973164) Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    I have question about a basic xml file I'm parsing and just putting in simple nextlines(Enters). I'll try to explain my problem with this next example. I'm( still) building an xml tree and all it has to do ( this is a testtree ) is put the summary in an itemlist. I then export it to a plist so I can see if everything is done correctly. A method that does this is in the parser which looks like this if([elementName isEqualToString:@"Book"]) { [appDelegate.books addObject:aBook]; [aBook release]; aBook = nil; } else { [aBook setValue:currentElementValue forKey:elementName]; NSString *directions = [NSString stringWithFormat:currentElementValue]; [directionTree = setObject:directions forKey:@"directions"]; } [currentElementValue release]; currentElementValue = nil; } the export for the plistfile happens at the endtag of books.     I've done some searching, but can't seem to find a way to do this. We'd like to proactively monitor our permgen space via JMX. It seems the best way to do this is through the UsageThreshold attribute on the "PS Perm Gen" MemoryPool. By default, this is set to 0. Is there a way to specify this, or any JMX attribute, as a -D parameter to VM so this can be set automatically at startup? Or is there another mechanism to load JMX attributes automatically? Thanks.

  • Using MSBuild 4 command line to publish ASP.NET web application

    In previous msbuild we used the target '_CopyWebApplication' in order to build and convert the source of a project into a published site, this worked OK, but wasn't ideal. In .NET 4, the publishing process is somewhat more sophisticated and additionally seems a bit of a black box to understand. Whilst packages look great, I cannot fully understand how they can be harnessed by a build server, the build server would not get any manifest information, and equally, something (msbuild?) is CREATING this manifest information FROM the project file. In our build server, I ideally want to say, here is my csproj file, deploy it by the package configuration 'x'. I'm trying to understand the workflow I need to make this happen. Right now when I use _CopyWebApplication, the result is different to doing a publish from visual studio 2010, primarily that web.config transforms aren't processed, and obviously msdeploy isn't involved at all. Can somebody point me in the right direction, I believe I need to get msbuild to do the equiv of 'Build Deployment Package', and then use msdeploy to deploy this from our build server to our CI testing environments. I know this is a very vague post, but I hope somebody can give me some hints, I'll be continuing research also, so if I make any progress, I'll post my findings here. Thanks in advance, Stephen.

    When using Cygwin, I frequently copy a Windows path and manually edit all of the slashes to Unix format. For example, if I am using Cygwin and need to change directory I enter: cd C:\windows\path then edit this to cd C:/windows/path (Typically, the path is much longer than that). Is there a way to use sed, or something else to do this automatically? For example, I tried: echo C:\windows\path|sed 's|\|g' but got the following error sed: -e expression #1, char 7: unterminated `s' command My goal is to reduce the typing, so maybe I could write a program which I could call. Ideally I would type: conversionScript cd C:/windows/path and this would be equivalent to typing: cd C:\windows\path
