Standard Apache (not OHS) with mod_osso for Single Signon

The mod_osso.so (the Apache plugin for Single Signon, provided by Oracle) is distributed with the Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), which is essentially a modified Apache. I am trying to use it on the standard Apache HTTP Server, and have not managed to get it to work. Configuration: Apache 2.2.15 OHS from the Oracle Web Tier Tools 11.1.1.2.0 Red Hat Linux 64 bit I have: Included the module in the modules directory (copied from corresponding modules dir in OHS) Included the libraries libiau.so and libclutsh.so.11.1 from Oracle Home. The absence of these libraries produced an error on starting Apache. Produced a osso.conf using the ssoreg.sh tool provided with OID (the LDAP implementation of Oracle) Created the required mod_osso.conf file, which I included in httpd.conf. jQuery slideToggle() Internet Explorer problem and jumpy animation

Hey yaa! I have a big problem with my jquery. I finally made it that my slidetoggle runs in firefox. The animation is a little bit jumpy in the end of the animation. I read a lot of workarounds, but somehow nothing helped me really. Perhaps anyone of you can rescue me out of this dilemma. The other bigger problem is that the hidden divs are unfortunately shown directly on start in internet explorer. I tested it in IE6&7. And the sliding effect is also very strange. Does anyone of you know if I have to give additional styling for IE??? I noticed that Internet Explorer runs the first Slide word on the right panel correctly. Here its div is first hidden and only shows up when we click and let it slide down. Does Android XML Layout's 'include' Tag Really Work?

I am unable to override attributes when using <include> in my Android layout files. When I searched for bugs, I found Declined Issue 2863: "include tag is broken (overriding layout params never works)" Since Romain indicates this works in the test suites and his examples, I must be doing something wrong. LinearLayout not expanding inside a ScrollView

I have a LinearLayout inside a ScrollView that has android:layout_height="fill_parent", but it doesn't expand to the full height of the ScrollView. My layout looks something like: level layout layout_width layout_height 1 LinearLayout fill_parent fill_parent 2 LinearLayout fill_parent wrap_content 3 (some irrelevant stuff) 2 ScrollView fill_parent fill_parent <-- this expands full height 3 LinearLayout fill_parent fill_parent <-- this does not (has orientation=vertical) (following stuff probably are irrelevant, but just to be sure:) 4 TextView fill_parent fill_parent 4 LinearLayout fill_parent wrap_content I can see that the LinearLayout doesn't expand the full height of the ScrollView because in Eclipse in Android Layout Editor, if I select the ScrollView (in the Outline panel) it is highlighted with a red border that fills the screen to the bottom but when I select the LinearLayout its highlight doesn't expand to the bottom of the screen. How can I get it to do so? The effect I'm trying to achieve is to have some text and a button below it (inside the LinearLayout in level 4 there's just a button). The text can be big enough to need a scrollbar, in which case I want the user to have to scroll down in order to see the button. In case the text is not big enough for a scroll bar, I want the LinearLayout containing the button to stick to the bottom of the screen.

Is it possible to seletively color a wrapping TextBlock in Silverlight/WPF

For instance, if I have a TextBlock: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum." I want the first 10% of this TextBlock, such that the font color should be red, and the rest should be green. This perhaps means it would color the "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisici", and part of the "n". Basically pixel-wise font coloring instead of character-wise. Another important behavior is that the percentage respects the wrapping, in that if 50% of the TextBlock contents is colored, it should mean 50% of the text in reading order is colored, and not the first half of the block. How to right-justify icon in a JLabel?

For a JLabel with icon, if you setHorizontalTextPosition(SwingConstants.LEADING), the icon is painted right after text, no matter how wide the label is. This is particularly bad for a list, as the icons would be all over the place depending on how long the text is for each item. I traced the code and it seems to be that in SwingUtilities#layoutCompoundLabelImpl, text width is simply set to SwingUtilities2.stringWidth(c, fm, text), and icon x is set to follow text without considering label width. Here is the simplest case: import java.awt.*; import javax.swing.*; public class TestJLabelIcon { public static void main(String args[]) { EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() { public void run() { JLabel c = new JLabel("abc"); c.setHorizontalTextPosition(SwingConstants.LEADING); c.setHorizontalAlignment(SwingConstants.LEADING); c.setIcon(UIManager.getIcon("FileChooser.detailsViewIcon")); c.setBorder(BorderFactory.createLineBorder(Color.RED)); JFrame frame = new JFrame(); frame.setDefaultCloseOperation( JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE ); frame.getContentPane().add(c); frame.pack(); frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null); frame.setVisible(true); } }); } } You can see that label always fills the frame but icon stays put. You'll get the mirror problem if you set both arguments to TRAILING. I know I can override the UI, or use a JPanel, etc. I just wonder if I'm missing something simple in JLabel. If not, it seems like a Java bug. FYI this is jdk1.6.0_06 on Windows XP.

empty response body in ajax (or 206 Partial Content)

Hi guys, I'm feeling completely stupid because I've spent two hours solving task which should be very simple and which I solved many times before. But now I'm not even sure in which direction to dig. I fail to fetch static content using ajax from local servers (Apache and Mongrel). I get responses 200 and 206 (depending on the server), empty response text (although Content-Length header is always correct), firebug shows request in red. Javascript is very generic, I'm getting same results even here: http://www.w3schools.com/ajax/tryit.asp?filename=tryajax_first (just change document location to 'http://localhost:3000/whatever') So, it's probably not the cause. Height of a html window's content (not just the viewport height)

Hi All, I'm trying to get the height of a html window's content. This is the full height of the content not the visible height. I have had some (very limited) success using: document.getElementsByTagName('html')[0].offsetHeight in FireFox. This however fails in IEs and it fails in Chrome when using absolute positioned elements (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=38999). CSS div/overflow Question: Why does the first HTML file work but not the second?

Notice how the first HTML/CSS works when you re-size the browser horizontally. It will shrink no further than around 800 pixels, but it will expand as far as you drag the right edge of the browser. It will also correctly overflow the table at the top and scroll it horizontally. The thing I don't like about the first code snippet is where the scrollbar is. I want it to show up within the borders of the fieldset, so even if I narrow the browser down to 800 pixels wide, I can see both the left and right sides of the fieldset's border. The second code snippet is exactly the same as the first except I add another div tag to the mix, inside of the field set and around the grid. Notice how the top fieldset's width won't correctly shrink when you make the viewport of your browser narrower. Any ideas on why it doesn't work, what I can do to get it to work like the first code snippet? I don't think I'm describing this clearly, but if you run the two side by side, and expand and contract the horizontal edge of your browser windows, you'll see the differences between the two. I'm pretty new to CSS and HTML layout, so my understanding of why CSS handles sizing the way it does in some situations is still really confusing to me. UiPickerView change font color according data

I'm using a pickerView with multiple components related to several fields in a Database (CoreData). Is it possible to change the fontcolor for a specific component according the presence of data in the DB ? For example the field in the DB is null the component font color should be RED otherwise black. Any help will be appreciated ! Distinguishing between .NET exception types

For the love of all things holy, how do you distinguish between different "exception flavors" within the predefined .NET exception classes? For example, a piece of code might throw an XmlException under the following conditions: The root element of the document is NULL Invalid chars are in the document The document is too long All of these are thrown as XmlException objects and all of the internal "tell me more about this exception" fields (such as Exception.HResult, Exception.Data, etc.) are usually empty or null. That leaves Exception.Message as the only thing that allows you to distinguish among these exception types, and you can't really depend on it because, you guessed it, the Exception.Message string is glocabilized, and can change when the culture changes. At least that's my read on the documentation. Exception.HResult and Exception.Data are widely ignored across the .NET libraries. They are the red-headed stepchildren of the world's .NET error-handling code. And even assuming they weren't, the HRESULT type is still the worst, downright nastiest error code in the history of error codes. Why we are still looking at HRESULTs in 2010 is beyond me. I mean if you're doing Interop or P/Invoke that's one thing but... HRESULTs have no place in System.Exception. HRESULTs are a wart on the proboscis of System.Exception. But seriously, it means I have to set up a lot of detailed specific error-handling code in order to figure out the same information that should have been passed as part of the exception data. Exceptions are useless if they force you to work like this. What am I doing wrong?

None of the solutions came up so far are "killer choice" which leads me to think I will be tooling several projects (OWASP, AcegiSecurity + X??) hence this discussion. Parameter name: path Line 27 Position 79.'" (Compiler or xaml validation error). I have no idea where this Path comes from, neither does my example show anything of it. If you doubleclick the error, it points to the end of the first line. Did anybody encounter such a problem and has a solution for it? Flex AdvancedDataGrid - ColumnOrder With Formatter and ItemRenderer Question For Experts

I have a advanceddatagrid that has around 15 columns. Some are string, some are numbers. I have shown 4 columns below. The number columns have formatting done for zero precision and 2 digits precision. The itemRenderer is just to show Blue Color if the number is +ve and Red Color if the number is -ve. It looks something like below ... I am trying to save the users setting of column order when he closes the application and reload with the same order when the user opens the applications. I am using SharedObjects and below is the code. for(var i:int=0; i< adgrid.columns.length;i++){ var columnObject:Object = new Object(); columnObject.columnDataField = adgrid.columns[i].dataField as String; columnObject.columnHeader =adgrid.columns[i].headerText as String; columnObject.width = adgrid.columns[i].width; columnArray.push(columnObject); } and then I save the columnArray to SharedObject. I retrive them using the below code for(var i:int=0;i adgrid.columns[i].dataField =columnArray[i].columnDataField; adgrid.columns[i].headerText =columnArray[i].columnHeader; adgrid.columns[i].width = columnArray[i].width; } How can I save and reload the Formatter and ItemRenderer data . I am having trouble saving the formatter and itemrenderer and reloading it again. I would really appreciate if you can shown the code. How can I reshuffle the columns but can preserve all the properties of it to the sharedobject and recover it again.

Hello, I'm trying to make a small application or demo thats a tab bar application. Each bar item loads in a new view. Xcode Link Frameworks "Relative to Current SDK" Doesn't Work When Mixing Mac Framework and iPhone St

I have a framework of code I maintain. It's got mac and iphone objective-c code. And some of it is shared. I'm not having any problems with code. It's a problem with Xcode. Let's just call my framework "AwesomeKit" for this problem. The first thing I did was create an xcode Framework project called "AwesomeKit". Add source files to it, link against the common mac frameworks: foundation, cocoa, carbon, etc. It compiles fine. Then, add a new "static library" target, let's call it "AwesomeKit-iPhone" and set the base SDK in the build settings to iphone device 3.1.3. The problem comes when I try to add "Existing Frameworks" to the AweseomKit-iPhone target. -First change the current build target to AwesomeKit-iPhone. -Right click on any group and select "Add Existing Frameworks..." -Choose UIKit.framework UIKit will immediately be highlighted red, as if it's missing. It is indeed missing because Xcode uses the "Relative SDK" setting from the "Mac OS 10.6" SDK. When it should be using it relative to the current target's base sdk iphone device 3.1.3. What the heck? Has anyone experienced this? This is really annoying.

Binding WPF menu items to WPF Tab Control Items collection

I have a WPF Menu and a Tab control. I would like the list of menu items to be generated from the collection of TabItems on my tab control. I am binding my tab control to a collection to generate the TabItems. I have a TabItem style that uses a ContentPresenter to display the TabItem text in a TextBlock. When I bind the tab items to my menu the menu items are blank. I assume the menu items are looking for the Header property of the TabItems which I am not using. Is there a workaround for my scenario? Is it possible to bind to the Header property of the tab item, when I do not know the number of tabs in advance? Below is a copy of my xaml declarations. I am trying to generate an RSS Google Merchant, using SimpleXML. Am I missing something?

WPF: Animation Only Runs Once

Very basic (I think) animation question. My animation only runs the first time "MyProp" gets set to false. If it gets set a second time, the animation doesn't run. I know my data trigger is getting hit, as the sound DOES play. The effect I want is for the animation to run, then reset the target property back to what it was before the animation occurred (thus the FillBehavior=Stop). How to draw an overlay on a SurfaceView used by Camera on Android?

I have a simple program that draws the preview of the Camera into a SurfaceView. What I'm trying to do is using the onPreviewFrame method, which is invoked each time a new frame is drawn into the SurfaceView, in order to execute the invalidate method which is supposed to invoke the onDraw method. In fact, the onDraw method is being invoked, but nothing there is being printed (I guess the camera preview is overwriting the text I'm trying to draw).
