  I understand that cubes are optimized data structures for aggregating and "slicing" large amounts of data. I just don't know how they are implemented. I can imagine a lot of this technology is proprietary, but are there any resources that I could use to start implementing my own cube technology? Set theory and lots of math are probably involved (and welcome as suggestions!), but I'm primarily interested in implementations: the data structures and query algorithms. Thanks!

  I have been searching around the web for a solution to this issue but have come across nothing so far. Basically I have a table as shown below, whhich i made up of itemtemplate fields and is populated by a dataset from my database. It shows brands to the user of which they can then click and go onto another page. I need to add another option to the table called "All Brands". Thus then I can use this to go to a page showing all the brands.   I want to animate the scaling down of a UIView, but not about its center: about a different point. As a shot in the dark, I tried translating the view, scaling, then translating back, using a series of CGAffineTransforms. But it doesn't work: it still scales about the center. • iphone dev - activity indicator scroll with the table

  In a view of my app I subclass tableViewController and has an activity indicator shown up when the table content is loading. I put it in the center of the screen but it scroll with the tableView (I guess the reason is I add it as a subview of the table view).
