Firebug lists all the class items for mainNavSelected, but has them all crossed out. What am i missing to replace the class of this element?

  • Is there a way to set the minHeight of the scroll bar thumb in Flex 3

    In my project we needed to make the scollbars look like Windows scrollbars. Therefore I have a thumbIcon on the thumb of a vertical scrollbar, but if I get too many items in the combobox, the scrollbar gets fiddly. This is because the margin between the thumbIcon and the border of the thumbSkin is too small. Is there a way to set the minimum height of the thumbSkin so that I can ensure there is always a margin there and it always looks good, even if there are too many items? Image above, see the thumb? By the thumbIcon I mean the 3 horizontal lines. The top and bottom margin between this icon and the border of the thumb itself is too small. This is the normal scroll bar, the thumbIcon and the borders of the thumb have enough margin, which make the scroll bar look a lot better.

The vast majority of my development is in Microsoft .NET / C# on mobile devices (WinMo and tablets) as well as Silverlight and ASP.NET. I would like the name to be something in that area although I am open other technologies, etc. I have not seen him yet. I assume he is typical Border Collie colored - black/white. I want to put the list 227px from the top of the div element, but I can't manage to accomplish this- it pushes it more. Also- between the list items I want a margin of 40 pixels, but it also does more. What's the problem?     Hi Folks, I'm a beginner in silverlight so i hope i can get an answer that brings me some more light in the measure process of silverlight. I found an interessting flap out control from silverlight slide control and now I try to use it in my project. So that the slide out is working proper, I have to place the user control on a canvas. The user control then uses for itself the height of its content. I just wanna change that behavior so that the height is set to the available space from the parent canvas. You see the uxBorder where the height is set. How can I measure the actual height and set it to the border? I tried it with Height={Binding ElementName=notificationCanvas, Path=ActualHeight} but this dependency property has no callback, so the actualHeight is never set.   • DNS resolve without depending on router for asterisk system

    Hello, Basically I have a Debian box running asterisk assigned an IP via DHCP with host-name XXX. My windows browser can resolve the host-name but if I use host-name in X-Lite or my SPA922 phone it fails to resolve. Is there any way of getting this to work without depending on the router or assigning a static IP (request is to make it portable). I was thinking zero-conf but am unsure (box has limited HDD too). Any help is most appreciated.

    I bind the ItemsSource of a ComboBox to an ObservableCollection<MyClass>. In code I change the collection (e.g. edit the MyClass.Name property). The problem: the change is not reflected in the dropdown box if the ComboBox, yet when I seled the item from the dropdown it is displayed correctly in the selected item box of the ComboBox.   • Is Bootstrap 2.1 compatible with jQuery UI?

    It's a known problem that the older Bootstrap didn't work out of the box with jQuery UI, as you can see from this github discussion. There are a few mashups of the two, including jQuery Bootstrap by John Seigers and jQuery UI Bootstrap by Addy Osmani. Are those mashups still necessary with the new version of Bootstrap, or can you now just use Bootstrap and jQuery UI out of the box (as is alluded to vaguely in the github discussion)?

  • JS Display Content based on Dropdown User input

    I am working on a search box that displays different options based on a users selection via dropdown box. Basically I need a really clean, light-weight method for switching out different divs without reloading the page. Im new to JS, but I know enough that there should be some really simple way of setting the display property using JS - Im just not totally sure how to go about it. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.
