  • How can i create a context menu in c# in a datagridview

    Hi all, I have written a datagridview with a couple of columns to store data of a product, now i want to be able to right click any row and have a context menu appear with the options delete and copy. Copy should have the same functionality as if I press Ctrl+C. Any help would be appreciated. Im using C# and WinForms. I have never done context menus before, so I would be thank full for any hint or link to further readings. Cheers

How can I restrict different columns on different objects in Hibernate Search?

  • Fill business object from database by calling stored procedurs?

    Hello, I have several stored procedures in my database, some of them have params, some have no params. I tried to fill a business object by calling the stored procedures, but failed so far. How could I do that dynamically? Later, I want to use this object as a datasource for a report...but thats the next step. The important facts are: different stored procs return different amount of columns stored procs can have params, but its not required How could I achieve that? Thanks :)

    I have a very standard Gridview, with Edit and Delete buttons auto-generated. It is bound to a tableadapter which is linked to my "RelationshipTypes" table. dbo.RelationshipTypes: ID, Name, OriginConfigTypeID, DestinationConfigTypeID I wish to use a label that will pull the name from the ConfigTypes table, using the "OriginConfigTypeID" and "DestinationTypeID" as the link. dbo.ConfigTypes: ID, Name My problem is, I can't automatically generate Edit and Delete buttons using an Inner Join in my dataset. Or can I? The flat table has columns that correspond to various nodes in the xml. What is the best way to do this using SSIS? Is this a good approach? Or should we just try and write the reports directly off the xml column?

    I want to read following file in C++. 000001011100110 100000010101100 001001001001100 110110000000011 000000010110011 011000110101110 111010011011110 011001010010000 I know already how many rows and columns is there in the file. I want to read each integer and store it in a 2-D matrix of ints. Each integers here means 0 is one entry and 1 is another entry. So in this example above there are 15 0's and 1s.

For example: (table with 2 columns: key (indexed), data (not indexed) updated (not indexed) Select * where updated=20100202 (the db will do a scan - will the scanned rows be kept in memory?) Select * where key = 20 (the db will refer to the index - will the identified rows be kept in memory?)

    Here's my table with some sample data a_id | b_id ------------ 1 225 2 494 3 589 When I run this query INSERT IGNORE INTO table_name (a_id, b_id) VALUES ('4', '230') ('2', '494') It inserts both those rows when it's supposed to ignore the second value pair (2, 494) No indexes defined, neither of those columns are primary. What don't I know?

    I have a table of values, with one of the columns being of type SET. If it currently has the members ('a', 'b', 'c', 'd'), how do I add 'e' to the possible values? I realize that using a SET type is a little strange, and I'm unclear why one would use it instead of a foreign key to another table with the values of the set, but I didn't design the database in question, and can't change it that much.
