• Preventing browser loading indicator with Chrome + GWT-rpc.

  Hello. I'm writing a ajax chatting webapp, just to test working with GWT. To simulate server side push of chat messages from the server to the browser, I have a XHR request running behind. It all works fine - except on Chrome, the browser is displaying a loading icon (a spinner) because of the XHR request on background. Is there any way to avoid this? I've tested it in Firefox, and it doesn't display such behavior.

• Polled I/O on MIPS

  Hello , i'm currently implementing a calculator in MIPS which uses the polled I/O method for fetching information. I put a beq $v0, 120, exit # exit if input = ('x') on the main part of the code to tell that whenever something is fetched is equal to x, it should branch the exit function. The only problem is that my code works fine with the keyboard/display simulator on MARS but i get the interrupt exception 6 on SPIM. Why is this happening and how can i help it ? //Thx in advance

Wnen i create new SL project and choose ASP.NET Web Site web project type all is ok, at my browser I see default template.   Hello, I'm using a rich text editor in my asp.net mvc form (nicedit with a textarea) and when I submit the form on post, because it is not html encoded I get the following message: "A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client" . How can I html encode the textarea on post ? I don't want to cancel the validation. Is there a way to use the html.encode helper on submit? Thank you.
