    I'm trying to run hibernate tools in an ant build to generate ddl from my JPA annotations. Ant dies on the taskdef tag. I've tried with ant 1.7, 1.6.5, and 1.6 to no avail. I've tried both in eclipse and outside. I've tried including all the hbn jars in the hibernate-tools path and not.   • Huge mysql table with Zend Framework

    I have a mysql table with over 4 million of data; well the problem is that SOME queries WORK and SOME DON'T it depends on the search term, if the search term has a big volume of data in the table than I get the following error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1048576000 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 75 bytes) in /home/****/public_html/Zend/Db/Statement/Pdo.php on line 290 I currently have Zend Framework cache for metadata enabled, I have index on all the fields from that table.The site is running on a dedicated server with 2gb of ram. I've also set memory limit to: ini_set("memory_limit","1000M"); Any other things that I can optimize?   • Should we migrate from svn to Team Foundation Server 2010?

    We are with 6 developer and currently use Visual Studio 2008 Professional with SVN and Visual SVN. As soon as vs2010 is released we will upgrade from vs2008 pro to vs2010 premium. However if Team Foundation Server has a proper source control included in vs2010 premium, then it does make sense to use it. We like SVN, but like tight integration of tools even better. On the internet information on SVN versus TFS 2010 seems to be scarce. Hence my question here. EDIT: This video looks very compelling. Is this marketing talk or real? Thank you all for your replies! I absolutely appreciate this. A little more background info. This is our current stack; vs2008 pro, Visual SVN, SVN, Jetbrain Teamcity. My main problem is that we use a lot of tools from different vendors which more or less integrate. Sometime more, mostly less. At least it takes a lot of time to set it up correctly. We currently do not use branches, but we want to. Therefore we have to set up SVN from scratch (we looked into it carefully). So let me rephrase my question: Should we set up SVN or start using TFS?

  • VS2010 express beta2 - no add reference dialog, no open file/project dialogs

    Just installed VS2010 express for Windows Phone last night. Install went smoothly. It creates a project, compiles, and deploys the app to the emulator. Here's the problem: When I try to "Add Reference" through the Project menu, I do not get the Add Reference dialog box. Same thing if I right click References in the solution explorer and click Add Reference. That's not all. "File...Open" and "File...Open Project" also fail to throw up an open file dialog box. When attempting any of these actions, the IDE quickly loses and regains focus. Even pressing a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+O) causes the IDE to quickly lose and regain focus, but no open file dialog box appears. This is what I have tried, not particularly in this order: 1. Turned off UAC 2. Monitored file and registry access using Process Monitor during a File...Open operation. File activity showed mostly "SUCCESS" with a few "FAST IO DISALLOWED" and a few "INVALID DEVICE REQUEST" results. Registry activity showed mostly "SUCCESS" with some "NAME NOT FOUND" and a few "BUFFER OVERFLOW" results. 3. Created a new, clean Windows account to run the IDE from 4. Forced a test project to add a reference to "System.Xml.Linq" by editing the ".csproj" project file. Project failed to load in the IDE. I don't have these problems at all on 2 other Windows 7 computers with VS2010 C# express beta 2 installed. One machine is 32bit and the other 64bit, both Home Premium edition. My system: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit Other Visual Studio products installed: VS2008 C# express, VS2008 C++ express One other thing to note: Several months ago I installed the non-phone distribution of VS2010 C# express beta 2, and I had the same exact problems. Back then I chalked it up to being beta and went back to VS2008 C# express, where I do not have these issues.

    Hi My project is web application running in the tomcat container. This application is a spring framework based hibernate application.     I am trying to decide on a data structure for an array that has a date for the key and the amount of bandwidth consumed as values. examples Key Consumed Policy October 50 Basic November 75 Basic December 100 Basic Some months, but not all, will have more than one policy. In that case, I need break them down by policy once the total is shown. So for the above example, assume December had 3 policies. The table i construct from my array would then need to show: Key Consumed Policy October 50 Basic November 75 Basic December 100 .. December 25 Basic December 25 Extended December 50 Premium Could all this data be represented in an array ? $myArray['december'] would be a different data structure than the others because it would need a last entry, probably another array, that had the policy names as keys and the amount of data consumed as values. Does PHP allow for arrays that are not structured uniformly? i.e. key october and November have only 2 entries under their key while December has 2 entries plus a 3rd which is an additional array. My best guess is something like: Array ( [October] => "50", "Basic" [November] => "75", "Basic" [December] => "100", "..", Array( [Basic] => 25 [Extended] =>25 [Premium] => 50 ) ) My question is if this is possible and how to declare it and populate it with values with PHP.   • SSTP client disconnects shortly after successfully connected to VPN

    I'm successfully authenticating and connecting to a SSTP VPN (on windows 2008) from my windows 7 machine, but for some reason, the connection is disconnected about a 1-2 seconds after it's established. I've done the following: Defined a SSTP VPN on my windows server 2008. Defined the same machine as CA. Issued the needed certificates and published them on the client. I'm currently testing this VPN inside my LAN so all the needed ports are opened. Here are the event log entries when trying to connect: Error Log (Client): The user HOME\User dialed a connection named Home VPN which has terminated. The reason code returned on termination is 829. Error Log (Server-VPN): The user HOME\User connected on port VPN0-0 on 7/27/2012 at 1:57 AM and disconnected on 7/27/2012 at 1:57 AM. The user was active for 0 minutes 0 seconds. 312 bytes were sent and 4528 bytes were received. The reason for disconnecting was user request. What would be the issue? How can I resolve or debug it? UPDATE: I've found an event log (Log=System, Source=RasSstp) message on the windows 7 machine that tries to connect to the VPN: The SSTP-based VPN connection to the remote access server was terminated because of a security check failure. Security settings on the remote access server do not match settings on this computer. I've configured the msp's for each individual product and when I have the install directories all in the same folder, running setup.exe brings up a dialog asking me to choose which product to install. I want it to automatically install all three products as soon as setup.exe is launched. Any ideas?

    We had a user with a Lenovo G-series laptop getting a STOP error on boot. We reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium using non-OEM media and restored the user's files from backup. We are now seeing a hidden folder in the root of the C:\ drive called SYSPART which appears to contain a copy of the contents of the C:\ drive - so while the user has 160 GB of files, the drive is using 320 GB because of this folder. What is it, and is it safe to delete?

  • How to construct SELinux rules for a Glassfish server

    I'm running Glassfish 3.1 on a CentOS 6 solution and by default SELinux is enabled. I have installed Sun's JDK version 1.6.0_29 on the server and extracted the Glassfish 3.1.1 to /opt/glassfish-3.1.1 with a link /opt/glassfish pointing to the latest Glassfish version. I've also created a system user named glassfish with a home directory /home/glassfish. When running with SELinux enabled I get all sorts of errors. For instance I'm not able to create the domain. I kind of like the concept of SELinux, and would like to be able to have SELinux enabled. I have the following requirements for the Glassfish server: Listening to port 8080 and 8081 Other ports 7676: JMS 8686: JMX monitoring, 4848: Admin console Forwarding from apache to Glassfish through mod_jk and port 8009 Starting OpenMQ as an separate process which listens to 7676 and it's JMX monitoring port 7776 Able to read and write files at a specified area (different from home directory) Able to use /tmp/ for temporary files I am aware of the audit2allow tool when running in permissive mode, but I struggle with understanding the rules that is generated from this tool, and thought that setting up these rule manually the first time would help me understand the SELinux rules better than the simplistic examples that I've seen so far. Can someone with SELinux experience help me form these SELinux rules with comments describing each part of the rules?

I got an issue when I run the gitosis-init. I don't know what happen or how to check. Please help me on what I need to check or do.
