    I need to access to a value in a checkbox, the atribute value has content, so i need to place the id somewhere else i created a label, but i have not access to that value alert(check[i].label); // doesnt work where else can i place a value in checkbox. Please dont write that i can do this <input type='checkbox' id='bla' name='mybla' vlaue='myvalue'> Hy Where can i place some other values ?     When I used to develop in C++, I remember that Visual Studio had an entry in its Autos window whenever returning from a function call. This entry would tell me what value was returned from that function. One might argue that if a function returns a value, then you should set a variable to that value, i.e. int i = GetRandomInt(); But as a contrived example, suppose I wanted to do this: CycleTushKicker( GetRandomInt()); Instead of stepping into CycleTushKicker to figure out how many lickings my kid gets, I'd just like to know the value as soon as I exit GetRandomInt. Is there a way to get this when using C#?

    I'm trying to save an install path to the registry so my windows service will know where my other application was installed. I'm using visual studio's deployment to create a registry value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, but my windows service which runs under LocalMachine doesn't have access to that. I then made the installer create a registry value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, but when I view the registry after the install it appears it never made the value. Any ideas?

  • Best place/area to store file for Trail period

    I need to have a trial period (7 days) in my application. From this I came to know that you can do that by keeping permanent file, database or shared preference. Where do I keep that file so that the user isn't able to see/delete it. If I put that logic in Sharedpreference or a file with a path "data/data/packagename", when the application is uninstalled then all history will be lost. Any other workaround/ideas? Note: there is no server, application works locally with no Internet.

    I'd like to add Elements to a StackPanel (or Listbox / Listview if it would make that easier) and automatically add a Button (like "...") to indicate that there are more children than there is space for. Consider a calendar that has appointment items in each day. If there are more appointments than as much as can be displayed a button is displayed to go to a detailed view for that day. Can this be done automatically, or how do I calculate the positions of the stackpanel and its items. It's for windows store development in c#. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I want to use a form select-field for users to select their country of residence, which shows the IP based country as default value (plus the IP address next to it); Location info (ipinfodb.com) is working. I'm passing "country" and "ip" to the function, which should modify select-field and ip adress Problem: IP adress works, but the select-field only updates after I hit refresh.   • Highest value datatype can store in c#

    I am writing a small program for my assignment to find the primitive roots of a prime number. So far, the program works for smaller prime numbers till 13 and gives correct number of roots. But for higher primes numbers, it is showing only fewer primitive roots. And now i got stuck for the prime number 41, shows no primitive roots for it. I used DOUBLE datatype for the calculation, and again tried with the datatype DECIMAL, but no luck. Does anyone know about this kind of problem??? Thank you.

    I have a PrivilegeGroup table, a Privileges table and a link table because the PrivilegeGroup table and the Privileges table is a many to many relationship. I am thinking about load all contents of PrivilegeGroup table and Privilege table into memory from database at beginning when application started. I want to save them in a form easily to look up. Usually we will look up the PrivilegeCode via GroupId. Which structure is good for this purpose? array of list? dictionary?

  • How should I best store these files?

    I have a set of image files, they are generally very small, between 5k and 100k. They can be any size though, upwards of 50mb but this is very rare. When these images are put into the system they are not ever modified. There is about 50 TB of these images total. They are currently chunked and stored in BLOBs in Oracle, but we want to change this since it requires special software to extract them. These images are access sometimes at a rate of over 100 requests per second among about 10 servers. I'm thinking about Hadoop or Cassandra, but I really don't know which would be best or how best to index them.

    Hi I have an app that has hundreds of words with 3/4 images for each word. I have 2 versions of each word one for iOS 3 and one for retina display. I wish to save the images as data and connect them to the appropriate word so it will be easy to pull them later. my question is - how do i get the suitable size ? its works great with the @2x wjen you get it from the app file system, but hoe does it supposed to work when i get it from data ? thanks shani

  • Symfony 1.4 Form Value change after getValues()

    Hi, I've got some problem with symfony form value (i guess it's the clean value, but not so clear yet). Here's the problem : I got a sfFormDateJQueryUI widget setup like this in my form : $this->setWidgets(array( 'needDate' => new sfWidgetFormDateJQueryUI(), )); $this->setValidators(array( 'needDate' => new sfValidatorDate(array( 'required' => true, 'date_format' => '/^[0-9]{2}\/[0-9]{2}\/[0-9]{4}$/', 'date_output' => 'd/m/Y' )), )); Then when i submit, say 26/06/2010, it turns out right in the HTTP Header (viewed via Firebug) and $request (i just print it). But after i get the value via $formVal = $form->getValues(); the date value in $formVal["needDate"] become today's date (03/06/2010). I really don't understand, and after checking in the API documentation it says that the getValues will return the 'cleaned' value. Is that because of it ? I don't understand what's 'clean'. Other than iterating is there any other way to compare a value and then merge that object. Object is a Value object with some setters and getters. Appreciate your help.     +2-1+18*+7-21+3*-4-5+6x29 The above string is an example of the kind of string I'm trying to split into either a key = value array or something similar. The numbers represent the id of a class and -,+ and x represent the state of the class (minimised, expanded or hidden), the * represents a column break. I can split this into the columns easily using explode which gives and array with 3 $key = $value associations. eg. $column_layout = array( [0] => '+2-1+18' , [1] => '+7-21+3' , [2] => '-4-5+6x29' ) I then need to split this into the various classes from there, keeping the status and id together. eg. $column1 = array( '+' => 2 , '-' => 1 , '+' => 18 ) ... or $column1 = array( array( '+' , 2 ) , array( '-' , 1 ) , array( '+' , 18 ) ) ... I can't quite get my head round this and what the best way to do it is, so any help would be much appreciated.
