  • can iPhone application use push service if deployed via enterprise deployment?

    Based on following question push notification service cost I want to know, will my application receive push notifications if it is deployed via Enterprise deployment, and is there any limit of number of installations of enterprise deployment for push notifications, we currently have 10000+ users, but the application is only for the members and god knows if apple rejects it to put it on appstore.

  • Update Statement Updates 0 Rows via the C# Winform Application?

    First of all, please help me out! I can not take this anymore. I could not find where the error is located. Here is my problem: I'm trying to update a row via c# winform application. The update query generated from the application is formatted correctly. I tested it in the sql server environment, it worked well. When i run it from the application i get 0 rows updated. Here is the snippet that generates the update statement using reflection - don't try to figure it out. We assigned the value to these properties in the presentation layer from the user input text box. The portion below where fetches the values: objSqlCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("@" + PropertyItem.Name.ToString(), PropertyItem.GetValue(this, null)); The code below fills the values of WHERE: objSqlCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("@cusID", cusID); objSqlCommand.Parameters.AddWithValue("@phNum", this.PhoneNumber); The final code should look as: UPDATE CustomerPhone SET PhoneTypeID = 7, PhoneNumber = 999444 WHERE CustomerID = 500 AND PhoneNumber = '911'; Phone type id is 7 - user value that is taken from text box Phone number is 999444 - user value that is taken from text box The above final update statement works on the sql environment, but when running via the application, the execute non query runs ok and gets 0 rows updated! I wonder why?

    Hi, I have done changes in registry (proxy settings) via Windows programming code. I have to restart (reopen) Internet Explorer each time I run the code to make those changes take effect. Is there any API in Windows programming through which I can notify Internet Explorer or Windows that changes are made to the registry and there will not be any need to reopen Internet Explorer to make those changes take effect?     Hi, so I need the user to write a review about an article or book and send it to a DB via PHP but with some basic HTML formatting.. I mean, I have a form , when the user writes the review, the data is sent but without any kind of formatting, If the user want to write in a new line, the text is sent like plain text, I need to get also those new line breaks and simple stuff. I know how to use PHP and DB connection, I just need to know how to get those new line breakes and stuff..
