    Is there a way to specify the tab order of the elements within a jQuery Dialog which itself contains an Accordion? The dialog also specifies one button in the buttons options. For accessibility, we need to be able to tab through the accordion panes, the form elements in each accordion, the button in the buttons options, and the close icon of the dialog itself, but tabbing seems to be skipping over the button in the buttons options, and I can't find any resource that has a resolution for this sort of problem.

  • Is it possible to convert text to shape in VML /canvas/SVG ?

    Hello, I need to display a text in 3D using vml/canvas/svg and do some transformation to the shape of the text like the effect of Ctrl+T in photoshop, even align a line of text to a curve, is there a way to convert text to shape first? The only thing close is getImageData() in firefox which is not ideal but OK. Any better methods? Using browser-specific hacks or voodoo is OK, but no Flash please :)

    I've scoured the Web looking for examples on how to do this. I've found a few that seem to be a little more involved then they need to be. So my question is, using iTextSharp, is there a fairly concise way to append one PDF document to another one? Optimally this would NOT involve a third file. Just open the first PDF doc, append the second PDF doc to the first and then close them both.

    I have written a Java web application that allows a user to download files from a server. These files are quite large and so are zipped together before download. It works like this: 1. The user gets a list of files that match his/her criteria 2. If the user likes a file and wants to download he/she selects it by checking a checkbox 3. The user then clicks "download" 4. The files are then zipped and stored on a server 5. The user this then presented with a page which contains a link to the downloadable zip file 6. However on downloading the zip file the file that is downloaded is 0 bytes in size I have checked the remote server and the zip file is being created properly, all that is left is to serve the file the user somehow, can you see where I might be going wrong, or suggest a better way to serve the zip file.     I'm looking for a jquery plugin that would create an errors div like what twitter has. The div gets added by the plugin, it stays hidden while it doesn't have content, then when a message gets added to it, it appears at the top (with either a close button option or automatic disappear after an x number of seconds). It's not too difficult to write, but there would be no reason to write it if it's already been done before. Anyone knows of a plugin like that?

  • Getting a KeyError in DB backend of django-digest

    I have just started to integrate django_digest into my app. As a start I have added the @httpdigest decorator to one of my views. If I try to connect to it I get a KeyError exception thrown in django_digest/backend/db.py . Depending on which db I configure I get a different KeyError in a different location. I am using Django 1.2.1, with MySql (also tested with sqlite). I am using the default values for all the settings options. As far as I can see I have followed all instructions but am struggling all day with this. I am using the repository versions of django-digest and python-digest. Any steer would be greatly appreciated.     I took a class on "Intelligent Decision Making" (which was mostly an Problem Optimization class). In the class we learned about AMPL and how to extend the solvers. I haven't heard much about it lately, nor have I seen job listings for it. My question is: Is AMPL still in use anymore? If so what is it being used for? Yes, I do understand that AMPL can be replaced with Matlab, however AMPL is free and Matlab isn't even close.
