I want this object to handle any unhandled exceptions in the worker threads, and so I am using Thread.setUncaughtExceptionHandler(this); Now, I would like to test this functionality - how can I generate an unhandled exception in the run() method of my worker object?   Hi, I receive HTTP PUT requests on a server and I would like to redirect / forward these requests to an other server. I handle the PUT request on both server with PHP. The PUT request is using basic HTTP authentication. Here is an example : www.myserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml redirect to www.myotherserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml How can I do this without saving the file on my first server and resending a PUT request using CURL? The best library I can find for this is CGAL, but this is the sort of project I would hesitate to make without garbage collection. What language/library pairs can you recommend? So far my best bet is importing CGAL into D. There is also a project for making Python bindings for CGAL, but it's very incomplete.

  Is it possible to construct a PCRE-style regular expression that will only match each letter in a list only once? For example, if you have the letters "lrsa" and you try matching a word list against: ^[lrsa]*m[lrsa]*$ you're going to match "lams" (valid), but also "lamas" (invalid for our purposes because you only had one "a"). If your letter set was "lrsaa", you would want to match "lamas". Is this possible with regular expressions, or should I handle it programmatically?

  I'm using My.Settings in my VB.NET application and when we run multiple instances rarely it's giving a ConfigurationErrorsException because the settings file locked by another instance. Is there anyway to fix this? This is happening during the OnShutdown process, also I'm not quite sure how can I catch that exception and handle it. Only thing I can think of is disabling onshutdown save and manually save it during the shutdown with extra retry + locking + exception handling.

I am keen to try this out, but will have to get approval at work to do so. My questions are: Does the port work well, or are there limits to what the interpreter can handle compared with standard Python implementations? Does the iSeries database access layer work well, creating usable objects from table definitions?
