  • Event Handlers Not Getting Called? - wxWidgets & C++

    - by Alex
Hello all, I'm working on a program for my C++ programming class, using wxWidgets. I'm having a huge problem in that my event handlers (I assume) are not getting called, because when I click on the button to trigger the event, nothing happens. My question is: Can you help me find the problem and explain why they would not be getting called? The event handlers OnAbout and OnQuit are working, just not OnCompute or OnClear. I'm really frustrated as I can't figure this out. - by Tomas
Hello, I am trying to read command lien argument but it seems there is some kind of bug in .NET. The parameter which I pass to my console application /i "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" /o "result" CommandLine variable return three arguments, but I pass four and values of these arguments messed up. /i = true "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" = true /o = "result" As you see only the last argument is parsed corectlly. • Does ArchLinux running on PogoPlug boxes support Tenda W311MI Wireless N Pico Adapter?

    - by MauricioOtta
I've did my homework and since cabling is an issue, I'm planning on going wireless. Can anyone confirm these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833555011 work on Linux? I've found this page http://www.wikidevi.com/wiki/Tenda_W311MI and found that Ralink rt27xx/rt28xx/rt30xx (USB) support in the kernel supports RT2770, RT2870 & RT3070, RT3071 & RT3072. So I'm buying this and reporting back after I receive them

  • Is Firefox less vulnerable to exploit when running NoScript?

    - by PP
The article titled "iPhone, IE, Firefox, Safari get stomped at hacker contest" at The Register website discusses that Firefox can be exploited. I wonder if NoScript protects against the kind of exploits written about; or whether the browser can be exploited regardless of having the extension loaded. Any opinions? Might make this a community wiki given that it's not simple problem/solution post.

  • How can i recompile the python 2.7 with enable shared option

    - by user31
I installed 2.7 with yum. But i didn't used enable shared option so i am not to run mod_wsgi with djnago. Now i want to recompile with enable shared option. Is there any esay way to do that Although mod_wsgi will still work when compiled against a version of Python which only provides a static library, you are highly encouraged to ensure that your Python installation has been configured and compiled with the '--enable-shared' option to enable the production and use of a shared library for Python. http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/InstallationIssues

  • Keep Windows Mobile 6 phone alive in C#

    - by QAH
Hello! I am making an application for Windows Mobile 6.1 Pocket PC (Touchscreen). I know when a Pocket PC's screen turns off, it goes into a standby mode and applications are pretty much halted in the background. My application can't do that. It needs to keep going. So my question is, how can I keep the phone alive (backlight turned on) until my application is done? An example of this would be video streaming applications such as Youtube. It keeps the phone on while the video is playing. Thanks

  • Algorithm to generate radial gradient

    - by user146780
    I have this algorithm here: pc = # the point you are coloring now p0 = # start point p1 = # end point v = p1 - p0 d = Length(v) v = Normalize(v) # or Scale(v, 1/d) v0 = pc - p0 t = Dot(v0, v) t = Clamp(t/d, 0, 1) color = (start_color * t) + (end_color * (1 - t)) to generate point to point linear gradients. It works very well for me. I was wondering if there was a similar algorithm to generate radial gradients. By similar, I mean one that solves for color at point P rather than solve for P at a certain color (where P is the coordinate you are painting). Thanks

  • How to Encrypt a soap request using a secretkeyspec?

    - by rocks
I have Web Service client code generated by WSDL2Java. I am trying to encrypt the Soap Envelope specifying a CallbackHandler in the wsdd. I've managed to set a username and password in plain text on the soap request, but I need to use a key instead (I have been given a .key file which seems to be a SecretKeySpec). I load the .key file, read the bytes and then in the CallbackHandler I do the following:- encryptionKey = getBytesFromFile("mykey.key"); WSPasswordCallback pc = (WSPasswordCallback) callbacks[i]; pc.setKey(encryptionKey); But nothing relating to the encryption appears in the soap request and I get an error stating that pwd must be set. I'm totally stuck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
