    I'm trying to figure out how to traverse a generic list of items that I want to remove from another list of items. So lest say I have this as a hypothetical example List<car> list1 = GetTheList(); List<car> list2 = GetSomeOtherList(); I want to traverse list1 with a foreach and remove each item in List1 in List2. I'm not quite sure how to go about that as foreach is not index based.

  • Vim: Replacing a line with another one yanked before

    At least once per day i have the following situation: A: This line should also replace line X ... X: This is line should be replaced I believe that I don't perform that task efficiently. What I do: Go to line A: AG Yank line A: yy Go to line X: XG Paste line A: P Move to old line: j Delete old line: dd This has the additional disadvantage that line X is now in the default register, which is annoying if I find another line that should be replaced with A. Yanking to and pasting from an additional register ("ayy, "aP) makes this simple task even less efficient. My Questions: Did I miss a built-in Vim command to replace a line yanked before? If not, how can I bind my own command that leaves (or restores) the yanked line in the default register?

    Hi Folks ! So I am having an issue on my entrepreneur business opportunity rating matrix : I would like the radio buttons to stay on the same line. The problem is that I don't know how I should process because if I give a fixed minimum width for the cell, i'm not sure it will display properly on other browsers, and if the cell is to big I loose the alignment of the radio buttons. Do you guys have a CSS/Javascript (jQuery) trick that would fix this ? Thank you

    I'm looking for an algorithm to flip a 1 Bit Bitmap line horizontally. Remember these lines are DWORD aligned! I'm currently unencoding an RLE stream to an 8 bit-per-pixel buffer, then re-encoding to a 1 bit line, however, I would like to try and keep it all in the 1 bit space in an effort to increase its speed.   • CRC32 calculations for png chunk doesn't match the real one

    I'm attempting to mimic the function used for creating CRC's in PNG files, I'm using the autodin II polynomial and the source code from: http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/xnu/xnu-1456.1.26/bsd/libkern/crc32.c My tests have all been for the IHDR chunk, so my parameters have been: crc - 0xffffffff and 0 (both have been suggested) buff - the address of the IHDR Chunk's type. length - the IHDR Chunk's length + 4 (the length of the chunk's data + the length of the type) I printed the calculated CRC in binary, which I compared to the actual CRC of the chunk. I can see no similarities (little-big endian, reversed bits, XOR'd, etc). This is the data for the IHDR chunk (hexadecimal format): length(big endian): d0 00 00 00 (13) type: 49 48 44 52 data: 00 00 01 77 00 00 01 68 08 06 00 00 00 existing CRC: b0 bb 40 ac If anyone can tell me why my calculations are off, or give me a CRC32 function that will work I would greatly appreciate it.     I need a way to tell if the app being used by a user is a fresh new install (new user), or was a pre-existing user who updated. The previous app version did not track UDID's, and didn't save anything (it just ran as a simple app). Is there a way for an update to tell if the user previously installed the app? Even if that app didn't save anything into the documents folder, and the app didnt communicate with a server (UDID post)? (id like to be able to offer bonus features to my existing loyal users who had already installed the original app and updated) thanks!!

    I have a table that stores a bunch of diagnosis for a single plan. When the users create a new plan I need to copy over all existing diagnosis's as well. I had thought to try the below but this is obviously not correct. I am guessing that I will need to loop through my oldDiagnosis part, but how? Thanks!     I have a vendor application on AIX which requires the system date to be set to an arbitrary value for QA testing purposes. The application gets its date from the system, and there is no possibility of changing it to get the date from a parameter. The application runs under a specific userid. I'd like to find a way to set the date for this application or user to a private value without affecting all the other users and applications on the system. So far the only thing I have been able to do is dedicate an LPAR to this application. Every day at midnight a root crontab job resets the date to the static value. This works, but it is wasteful of resources; and now I am faced the requirement to do this for other applications, which, of course, require different dates. Is there any clever solution to this? I need a way to create a sandboxed environment where the date returned from the system can be set to a private value. As I said, the OS is AIX, and that can't be changed for this application either.

It never occurs on ActiveCell.Validation.Delete which I find weird? I have been all over google trying to find a solution, and most suggest that it is caused by running dynamic validation code from a button which hogs focus despite the Activate call, but I am running on sheet change event rather than on button press so I don't think this is my issue - any ideas? I've wasted basically a whole day on this! :(

  • push_back private vectors with 2 methods, one isn't working

    I have a class with a private vector of doubles. To access or modify these values, at first I used methods such as void classA::pushVector(double i) { this->vector.push_back(i); } double classA::getVector(int i) { return vector[i]; } This worked for a while until I found I would have to overload a lot of operators for what I needed, so I tried to change it to get and set the vector directly instead of the values, i.e. void classA::setVector(vector<double> vector) { this->vector = vector; } vector<double> classA::getVector() { return vector; } Now, say there is a classB, which has a private classA element, which also has get and set methods to read and write. The problem was when I tried to push back a value to the end vector in classA. void classB::setFirstValue(double first) { this->getClassA().getVector().push_back(first); } This does absolutely nothing to the vector. It remains unchanged and I can't figure out why... Any ideas?
