    I use wampserver2.1 php5.3.3, I found session_regenerate_id(true) not work in my script,document says when I set the parameter 'delete_old_sessions' true, there should be a new sid and all the session variables should be deleted, but the fact is after the function, $_session[abc] is still there. did I misunderstand the function,what is my problem?     It is well known that the user can define stream manipulators like this: ostream& tab(ostream & output) { return output<< '\t'; } And this can be used in main() like this: cout<<'a'<<tab<<'b'<<'c'<<endl; Please explain me how does this all work? If operator<< assumes as a second parameter a pointer to the function that takes and returns ostream &, then please explain my why it is necessary? What would be wrong if the function does not take and return ostream & but it was void instead of ostream &? Also it is interesting why “dec”, “hex” manipulators take effect until I don’t change between them, but user defined manipulators should be always used in order to take effect for each streaming?

    Hello, Why the two query below return duplicate member_id and not the third ? i need the second query to work with distinct.     How does OfType() Work? I read this link about what's going on but how exactly does the LINQ provider know how to get all objects matching the specified type. I know the IQueryable<T> "chains" up requests and then evaluates when GetEnumerator() is called (right?). Specifically I want to know how does the framework quickly do type comparison? I wrote a method in a .NET 2.0 project that went like this (since 2.0 doesn't support these kind of features): public IEnumerable<TResult> OfType<TResult>() where TResult : class { foreach (TItem item in this.InnerList) { TResult matchItem = item as TResult; if (matchItem != null) { yield return matchItem; } } } Is this the best implementation?

  • [Resolved] OWC does not work with IE8

    Hi, I have a web page that is generated with Access 2003 and uses Office Web Components. It worked fine with IE6 and IE7 but does not work anymore with IE8. Here are more details. I create an MSODSC component and a WSH object to get my ConnectionString in the registry. Then the Dropdown Lists are fed by a request to the database. It works perfect with IE6 and IE7, works locally with IE8 but if the page is served by IIS to IE8, the drop down lists are empty. Can anyone help me ? Thanks Mactov It was just a security issue. I had put my site in the confidence zone (according to the error message). I transfered it into intranet zone and it works perfect.

Using 'i' as the array index results in a non-constant expression. I don't understand how the compiler can evaluate the expression at compile time. Why isn't this flagged as an error?

  • Lucene boost: I need to make it work better

    I'm using Lucene to index components with names and types. Some components are more important, thus, get a bigger boost. However, I cannot get my boost to work properly. I sill get some components appear later (get worse score), even though they have a higher boost. Note that the indexing is done on one field only and I've set the boost to that field alone. I'm using Lucene in Java. I don't think it has anything to do with the field length. I've seen components with the same name (but different type) get the wrong score.

I'm trying to finalize this horizontal scrolling I have and the last bit is to not just disable scrolling when the end is reached, but to also disable (well, change color) the scroll buttons at that point as well. And I think the issue is with the "index < 0" portion but I don't see what I need to change it to to get it to work. Any help is appreciated.

    The main page ("parent.html") has a link that ajaxloads a page ("page1.html") into a div ("targetdiv") in the main page, like so: parent html: $("#targetdiv").html(loading).load('page1.html'); This works fine and "page1.html" is loaded into "targetdiv". The "page1.html" also has a link in it that is supposed to ajaxload another page ("page2.html") into "targetdiv" (onto itself), like so: page1.html: (in "targetdiv") $("#targetdiv").html(loading).load('page2.html'); This does not work; "html(loading)" comes up in "targetdiv" and stays there, "page2.html" is not loaded.     I have an ASP.NET 3.5 WebForm that leverages the frameworks Page.ClientScript.GetCallbackEventReference() method and I'd like some of the calls to be synchronous. Now, the documentation says that the 5th parameter (see below) controls this. Specifically, when you pass 'false' it's supposed to be a non-asynchronous call. However, regardless if it's true or false, it still processes the call asynchronously. Page.ClientScript.GetCallbackEventReference(this, "arg", "ReceiveServerData", "context",false); Is there a work-around for this or perhaps I'm doing something wrong?     I am trying to get the following link to work. <a href='#' onclick='window.open(" | &ESPP_Info_URL | ");return false;'>Employee Stock Purchase Plan Information</a> Basically the &ESPP_Info_URL variable takes in a url so that the code below looks like... <a onclick="window.open(https://...);return false;" href="#">Employee Stock Purchase Plan Information</a> But when I click the url it just refreshes the page. Does anyone know how to get this to access the link within the window.open function?
