    My Java ME Midlet works fine on Java phones and the BlackBerry simulator, but I can't receive a connection on a BlackBerry. I see a message that asks for permissions to connect, but when I select yes, it doesn't connect. I even checked on the server, but no connection was provided. My application isn't signed. Does anyone know why this might be failing?

    i dont have a wifi router, so when at home i need to turn my laptop into a wifi source so that both myself and my partner can access the internet. however during the days i work at a coffee shop and require the use of their wifi. i'm running snow leopard and i find it stupidly cumbersome to constantly be turning off and on, first internet sharing and then my wifi. any ideas for a quick n dirty applescript solution? thanks a bajillion! You can make the factory to retry connecting a certain number of times but... is it possible to make some actions each time that a reconnection retrial is neccesary? Is it possible to register an ExceptionListener into the MessageDrivenBean's connection somehow? Thanks a lot.

    Hi, I am trying to access a external ftp server through my company's FTP proxy from a bash prompt and I am getting the below issue after I enter the user name 421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection Login failed. No control connection for command: Permission denied The proxy works fine for all other sites but I am unable to access a site which has been recently setup using this proxy. Can it be an issue at the site's end like allowing our proxy ip address thru their firewall to access their server? Thanks

    When I am trying to connect to a MySQL database from a remote computer I get a prompt saying: Connection Failed: [HY000] [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver]Can't Connect to MySQL server on 'XXX.XXX.XX.XX' (10060) I have created a user account in the MySQL Administrator and added a host to enable remote access, I have also made an exception for my Windows Firewall on port 3306 but the connection still fails.     What I'm trying to do is to update my database after a period of time. So I'm using java scheduler and connection pooling. I don't know why but my code only working once. It will print: init success success javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name [comp/env] is not bound in this Context. In SSMS there are info related to the connection, but sometimes are not properly displayed and/or hidden. I know that it is possible to customize the status bar of each connection in SSMS, but how do you ensure that your developer is connecting to the right server before he runs a query?     For deubgging some process I will need to download the PDB files for some operating system dll files (OLE32, NTDLL, etc.) That server is not connected to the internet. I know the following method to get the PDB. Get full dump of the process Copy the dump to another machine where internet connection is available Use .reload to download the PDB files Copy the PDB files from the local PDB store Is there any thing more simple or do I have to go through the dumping process?
