• Unable to import Maven project into IntelliJ IDEA

  I'm having problems importing any Maven projects into IntelliJ IDEA. I create an empty Maven project like this: $ mvn archetype:generate -DgroupId=com.mycompany.app -DartifactId=my-app -DarchetypeArtifactId=maven-archetype-quickstart -DinteractiveMode=false Then I try to open the project in IDEA (File Open Project, then choose the pom.xml). A progress box saying "Reading pom.xml" displays for a few minutes, and then just disappears without opening the project.   I'm still going through some guides on RoR and i'm stuck here at "Deploying the demo app" I followed instructions: " With the completion of microposts resources, now is a good time to push the repository up to GitHub: " $ git add . $ git commit -a -m "Finish demo app" $ git push What happened wrong here was the push part.. it outputted this: $ git push fatal: No configured push destination. Either specify the URL from the command-line or configure a remote repository using git remote add < name < url git push < name So i tried following the insturctions by doing this command: $git remote add demo_app 'www.github.com/levelone/demo_app' fatal: remote demo_app already exists. So i push: $git push demo_app fatal: 'www.github.com/levelone/demo_app' does not appear to be a git repository fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly What can i do here?   There are a few overviews in the OS X 10.6 docs that I access via XCode, and a bunch of examples, but the actual reference docs seem to be absent. I was able to figure things out by reading the inline comments in the header files (e.g., ICCameraDevice.h), which looks like the source for the XCode docs. Is there a way to install these docs? The biggest problem with the overview writeups and the examples is that they assume you have a GUI. The whole point of ImageCaptureCore, vs. ImageKit, as I understand it is that you don't have a GUI, or want to have your own (my case). Anyone else have a good time figuring out how these APIs work? • on .bind('click') it is not deleting the first div

  Hello, When I click on a particular div, that div should fade out, simple, but when I click on one of the divs it deletes the div on top of the stack. ie., when I click #sel6 it removes sel5 html code <div id="selc" class="selc" style="position:absolute; left:15px; top:200px; width:260px;"> <div id="sel5" class="sel">something</div> <div id="sel6" class="sel">something</div> <div id="sel7" class="sel">something</div> </div jquery code sel_id, sel_1 are variables $('.selc').bind('click',function(){ var sel_id = $('.sel').attr('id'); alert(sel_id); $('#'+sel_id).fadeOut('slow'); $('#'+sel_id).remove(); $('.search_box').append(sel_1); }); Thanks Jean

  Hello I want to obtain the .text() of #inner2 <div class="outer" id="outer"> <div id="inner1" class="inner">test1</div> <div id="inner2" class="inner">test2</div> <div id="inner3" class="inner">test3</div> </div> This is the jquery function I am using $('.outer').bind('click',function() { var one = $('#inner'+x).attr('id'); alert(one); }); The problem is the first #id value is show in the alert. • Simple Grouping With TableSorter Plugin

  Im playing around with the Tablesorter plug-in for jQuery and was trying to get a very simple grouping functionality added into it. Using the follow html/js works great until you click sort again and reverse the order. The headers get moved to the bottom of the group when this happens. The following is my (admitedly hacky) attempt at it. • How do I troubleshoot a "Bad Request" in Apache2?

  I have a PHP application that loads for all URLs except the home page. Visiting "https://my.site.com/" produces a "Bad Request" error message. Any other URL, for example, "https://my.site.com/SomePage/" works just fine. It's only the home page that does not work. All pages use mod_rewrite and get routed through a single dispatch script, Director.php. Accessing Director.php directly also produces the "Bad Request" error. BUT- ALL of the other requests go through Director, and they all work just fine, (excluding the home page), so it can't be an issue with the Director.php script? OR can it? I'm not seeing anything in the Apache2 error log, and I'm not seeing any PHP errors in the PHP Error log. I've tried changing the first line of Director.php to read: echo 'test'; exit(); But I still get a "Bad Request". When I comment it out, the home page loads. The question is, how do I make URLS that actually end in .php go straight through (without breaking the home page)?
