  • Cannot delete a remote branch created unintentionally

    $ git branch -a * SocialAct master remotes/origin/HEAD -> origin/master remotes/origin/SocialAct remotes/origin/social I want to delete the remote branch "remotes/origin/social", and applied folloing command: $ git branch -d -r origin/social Deleted remote branch origin/social (was 26f6f61). But I have no idea how to bring these changes remotely so that the branches are deleted from origin and everyone can see the changes. I tried git push but that does not work Any help.

  • Windows Xp, Svchost.exe connecting to different ips with remote port 445

    Im using Windows Xp professional Sp2 Whenever i start my windows, svchost.exe starts connecting to all the possible ips on lan like from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.200 The local port ranges from 1000-1099 and the remote port being 445. After its done with the local ips, it starts connecting to other random ips. I tried blocking connections to the port 445 using the local security polices but it didn't work Is there any possible way i could prevent svchost from connecting to these ips without involving any firewall installed ? since my pc slows down due to the load I'd be thankful for any advices

  • Apache and linux file permissions can't browse file or directories

    I just copied my magento site over to a local server running CentOS 5.4. The browser said it can't locate the location of the stylesheets. The stylesheets are within /skin/frontend/my_new_interface/design2/css. I tried to view in the browser and I can't view any of the files within the css directory. I verified a million times that I'm typing in the correct location. I can view files within /skin/frontend/my_new_interface/design2. Can't browse directories within browser however. I typed in ls -l css and get: -rwxr-xr-x 1 apache apache listed for all the files I tried chmod -R 755 and the directories I changed the apache conf Options Indexes But still when I browse the directories I get Forbidden. However, in another fresh installation of magento in the same www dir, I am able to browse directories. As far as I can tell both installations have same ownership and permissions. I also tried find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \; find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; which was recommended in the magento wiki I've just run out of ideas.

Given the unique number how can i open or copy this file? for example: I have been given the number '7656875' and nothing more. I need to interact with a file called '\server\7656800\7656875 foobar 2x4'. how can i achieve this using PHP?

    My website had very high search engine results, especially in Google. But I left the website for a couple of months and didn't notice the comments were full of SPAM, about 20k comments of SPAM. Then i checked my google results and I'm out of google ! After years of having good results, no spam, how can I now recover from that? The spam problem has been solved completely. No more spam, and the website is very legit and very nice. Well, at least I think I was penalized, I don't see any other reason.

  • How to read a file line using php in a javascript variable without the breakline character ?

    I have a txt file on the server which contains 10 lines of text. The text file is rewritten sometimes, and I get new lines using "\r\n". My problem shows when I want to load the lines in javascript variables. I do it like this, but this work only for numbers or for the last line of the file, because its not using the breakline tag: var x = '<?php echo $file[0]; ?>'; Ive tried to alert(x) but it`s not working.... (working only if I read the last line) Any idead ?

  • In java can i have more than one class/object in a file?

    So the way i've been told to do things is you have your file and the file name is Classname.java and then the code is something like this: class ClassName { SOME METHODS main {} } and then thats all. I'd like to have two objects defined and used within the same .java file. (i don't want to have to put the other class in a difernt file just because i'd like to send this to someone and i want to avoid hasstle of atatching multiple files to an email [the lazy do make good programers though if you think about it]) is it possible to do this? do i have to do anything special and if so what? what are some mistakes i'm likely to make or that you have made in the past when doing this?

    My client is RDP 6.1 (On Windows XP SP3) and Server is Windows Server 2003. I have installed an SSL certificate on server for RDP. In the RDP settings (General tab), the Encryption method is set to SSL/TLS 1.0 and Encryption level is set to "Client Compatible". I have following questions In this case is it guaranteed that all communication is encrypted even when I remote login to the server? I mean pwd is encrypted Does RDP always use some kind of encryption even if there is no SSL certificate installed on the server? In this case I do not see security lock in the connection bar. When I set encryption level to "High" then I see security lock. I do believe that communication is both cases will be encrypted. Is it true? Please reply to my questions Thanks in advance Kumar

And at the end of evaluation puppet agent would generate a report and sent the report to the master. Is there a way to get real-time status of evaluation phase and post them to a remote logcollector?     Hi I wanted to know if there's some option for disabling Netbeans to upload all files of a recently imported remote (php) project. I always check "Upload files on run", in the project configuration. But when I click on run Netbeans selects all files by default (I modified only some). The file checkboxes cannot be disabled at once and you have to do this one by one (imagine you have 5000 files...). That's annoying. Do you know any solution? thank you

I honestly don't know if this caused any damages or not. But it's prompted that /etc/ssh/sshd_config was stored as /etc/ssh/sshd_config.rpmnew which was quite normal. I've seen similar posts while googling, but almost all of them suggests that I should check /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny, which in my case, I can't. I can not connect to the box to see what's going on there. I rebooted the box, through web interface of server provider, and it even got worse. Both are connected to the same wireless network, both have access to internet but I can't have access between them... I have used open path in the file explorer and nothing... My pc is conected to the same wi-fi than my apple tv. I have the latest software. I have my firewall off. I turned off and on my router. Search for iphone, ipad remotes on, sharing my library on my local network on, in itunes. Ive checked that my id was the same. On top of that the Remote app doesnt seem to work either. Please help, im kinda loosing my mind over this

  • Is O_LARGEFILE needed just to write a large file?

    Is the O_LARGEFILE flag needed if all that I want to do is write a large file (O_WRONLY) or append to a large file (O_APPEND | O_WRONLY)? From a thread that I read titled "Cannot write 2gb index file" on the CLucene-dev mailing list, it appears that O_LARGEFILE might be needed to write large files, but participants in that discussion are using O_RDWR, not O_WRONLY, so I am not sure.
