    I've been struggling to figure out how to best do this regular expression. Here are my requirements: Up to 8 characters Can only be alphanumeric Can only contain up to three alpha characters [a-z] (zero alpha characters are valid to) Any ideas would be appreciated. This is what I've got so far, but it only looks for contiguous letter characters: ^(\d|([A-Za-z])(?!([A-Za-z]{3,}))){0,8}$

    I have three textboxes A, B and C in create user view. When user enters some text in textbox A and B, and then when he enters textbox C, I want to display the text of textbox A + text of textbox B in C with "-" in between. For example, He enters "ABC" in textBox A and then he enters "123" in textBox B. Now upon entering textBox C (focus event), I want to display "ABC - 123 - " in textBox C. "-" are added through code. How do I do that in MVC ?

    Dear all, I have three array value = np.array ([1, 3, 3, 5, 5, 7, 3]) index = np.array ([1, 1, 3, 3, 6, 6, 6]) data = np.array ([1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]) and want to take average for item of "value" by array "index", and assign a new array with value of "data", such as [2, nan, 4, nan, nan, 5] first value is the average of 1st and 2nd of "value" second value is nan because there is not any key in "index" third value is the average of 3rd and 4th of "value" ...   • SQL Complex Select - Trouble forming query

    I have three tables, Customers, Sales and Products. Sales links a CustomerID with a ProductID and has a SalesPrice. select Products.Category, AVG(SalePrice) from Sales inner join Products on Products.ProductID = Sales.ProductID group by Products.Category This lets me see the average price for all sales by category. However, I only want to include customers that have more than 3 sales records or more in the DB. I am not sure the best way, or any way, to go about this. Ideas?

  • Entity Framework: Detect DBSchema for licensing

    We're working on a product that may or may not have differing license schema for different databases. In particular, a lower-tier product would run on SQLExpress, but we don't want the end user to be able to use a "full-fat" SQL install - benefiting from the price cut. Clearly this must also be the case for other DBs, so Oracle may command a higher price than SQL, for instance (hypothetically). We're using Entity Framework. Obviously this hides all the neatness of accessing the core schema and using sp_version or whatever it is. We'd rather not pre-load the condition by running a series of SQL commands (one for each platform) and see what comes back, as this would limit our DB options. But if necassary, we're prepared to do it. So, is it possible to get this using EF itself? DBContext.COnnection.ServerVersion only returns something like "9.00.1234" (for SQL Server 2005). I would assume (though haven't yet checked - need to install an instance) SQLExpress would return something similar - "pretending" it is full-fat. Obviously, we have no Oracle/MySQL/etc. instance so can't establish whether that returns text "Oracle" or whatever.

  • prevent IE Mobile from scaling web pages automatically

    I have not been able to get IE mobile to stop automatically resizing my site design. I am using three stylesheets with media queries to display the site differently on different device screens. I've included the meta tag so it shows the mobile stylesheet on IE mobile but it keeps setting the viewport at 320X480 instead of using the actual size of 480X800. How can I force it to display at the actual screen size instead of scaling for a smaller resolution?

    I have an InfoPath 2007 browser-enabled form that has a datasource with three columns, let's say columns A, B, and C. I have a dropdown that is keyed to column A and displays column B. Column C contains some data that I want to display in an expression box, and that I also want to use in some data validation against another field on the form.     I'm using Gitolite. This is my folder Structure: /var/www/demo.com/user1 /var/www/demo.com/user2 /var/www/demo.com/user3 I have created one repository named demo.git. I have created three gitolite users user1, user2 and user3. Now, my question is that when user1 clone or commit or push or pull changes, then it only should change user1's working directory, and same as user2 and user3. How would you enforce that with Gitolite?
