  • UIButton not being clicked in iPhone programming.

    Hello, I've created a UIButton on a view and on action of the UIButton[UIButton* button1_obj] one more button[UIButton* button2_obj] is created on same view. i'm facing these 2 issues...please guide me how to proceed. button1_obj is appearing when i run my project, but its not being clicked or highlighted, nor any exception is thrown. On action of button1_obj , button2-obj has to appear on the same view, how to clear the view before placing button2_obj on it.

  • Datagrid CurrentRowIndex returns -1??

    This seems quite odd. I have a Datagrid (.net 3.5 cf) that I bind to either a List or Inventory[]. When I click on a row and then hit a button to perform an action when I bind to a List CurrentRowIndex is -1. When I bind to Inventory[] and perform the same action CurrentRowIndex comes back with the selected row why is that?? grdBatch.DataSource = InventoryItems.ToArray(); vs grdBatch.DataSource = InventoryItems;

    Hi, Im making a game in xna where a tank has to move over a landscape. I need to be able find the bottom of the tank when it is rotated so I can make it move up and down as the player goes over the landscape. for example if i have a sprite at with its top left corner at 400,300 and i rotate it around its center by 45 degrees around its center, how do i find the new locations of the bottom track.   • Zend Framework Routing: .html extension

    I know I've seen this done before but I can't find the information anywhere. I need to be able to route with .html extensions in the Zend Framework. I.E. /controller/action.html should route to the appropriate controller / action. We have an idea to throw away the .html extension with our .htaccess file but I think changing the route config would be the better solution. Any advice is welcome.

    Rails routes are great for matching RESTful style '/' separated bits of a URL, but can I match query parameters in a map.connect config. I want different controllers/actions to be invoked depending on the presence of a parameter after the '?'. I was trying something like this... map.connect "api/my/path?apple=:applecode", :controller = 'apples_controller', :action = 'my_action' map.connect "api/my/path?banana=:bananacode", :controller = 'bananas_controller', :action = 'my_action' For routing purposes I don't care about the value of the parameter, as long as it is available to the controller in the 'params' hash

  • ASP.NET Elements are null when assigning data source

    For some reason, all of the objects in my ASP.NET markup are now null when I try to assign values to their properties in the code behind. My project was going fine and then now when I try to assign a data source to a GridView, I get a null reference error. I have no idea why it's doing this. I am not doing nothing special. I am just trying to assign a value to a property to an asp.net element in on the page. The intellisense knows that the element is there and I get no errors when I build the project. It's just when I am running the website I get the null reference. I have been trying to fix this issue for a couple weeks now. Please Help. Thanks. Nevertheless I also tried to add the following flags to notificationIntent Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP | PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT but the problem remains the same.

    I have a requirement where in I want to redirect to an external Url Here is my code in routes.rb map.connect "/myapp/:someparam" , :controller = "foocontroller" , :action = "redirect_to_external_url" In my foo controller i have this action def redirect_to_external_url redirect_to "http://externalurl.com/#{params[:someparam]}.html" end which will redirect to the external url The problem That I am facing is After redirecting, The browser shows "http://externalurl.com/bar.html whereas I want the browser to show "/myapp/bar" url (ex http://mydomain.com/myapp/bar) for seo purpose. Any idea on how this can be achieved in rails ? The Rails version that I am using is 2.3.4

    I'm making a partial overlay modal in my app with the code from “Semi-Modal (Transparent) Dialogs on the iPhone” at ramin.firoozye.com. In doing so, the button that calls the modal is still visible and clickable. I will hide this button when the modal spawns, but I want to be sure if the user clicks very quickly twice, a new modal doesn't come up for each click. What is the best way to check that the modal doesn't already exist when calling it from the button click? You can download the test project here.     Hello, I have profile page where the profile is retrieved via GET. The index file has this: $profile = $_GET['profile']; When I log in on the profile page, the $profile variable disappears. Here is the form action on the login function: <form name="login-form" id="login-form" method="post" action="./index.php"> (The $profile variable is separate of the login username.)     I have an array of checkboxes in a complex dynamic-html form. Whenever a user clicks one checkbox, a fairly expensive query is generated and submitted to a remote server. I want to delay this submit action depending on the users next action. If the user clicks several checkboxes quickly, all of the first clicks should be discarded, only the last one is processed and eventually submitted after 1 second or so. maybe this is a common problem but I have never worked with timeouts before.
