    Hi. I need to install firefox on 100+ machines, I've done a few manually but its too much of a task to do the whole lot. I need to : Install firefox executable Set "dont import anything(from Internet Explorer)" Set default browser to "no" Set default browser not to check again Copy a shortcut onto the desktop that goes to a specific URL I know this should be able to be implemented with an MSI package, but could I also set those settings?   • Save open emails when exiting Outlook 2007?

    I use open emails as my todo list in Outlook 2007. For instance, when I look at my Inbox in the morning, I open all emails which I need to respond to, and throughout the day read, respond to and close each one. It's an odd system but it's how I manage my emails. Are there any addons available which will save open emails and reopen them if Outlook is restarted? I'm looking for behavior like Firefox's tabs, which will reopen each one if the process gets killed.

  • windows 7 Libraries corruption

    I've provided an image to show the issue that im currently having. So basically the libraries work fine on windows explorer works fine, but trying to access from a browser, to upload file for example, the libraries just don't work they seem to be empty. Looking at the image, the window on the left is from the chrome browser and the windows on the right is from windows explorer.     I am trying to access localhost by my ip address. My ip address is/was http://217.164.79.62/ (It is set to be automatically assigned so it keeps changing). When I enter http://localhost/ into the browser I get the xampp homepage. However when I enter http://217.164.79.62/ into my browser I get the following message: The server 217.164.79.62:80 requires a username and password. User Name: Password: How do I get the username and password?

    Is it possible to use Google Chrome Frame in IE 6 to access a SharePoint 2010 site without displaying the WarnOnUnsupportedBrowsers message. The message I get is this: Your Web browser will have problems displaying this web page. Changes to the site may not function properly. For a better experience, please update your browser to its latest version. Ideally, I'm hoping to only have to make changes to the client, but if the site itself needs to modified I can probably get it done.

    Hello everyone, I run Firefox 3.6 on OS/X. My Profile, along with saved passwords, bookmarks and history has come along with me across 3 different computers, and has been upgrading since 2.0, has had hundreds of addons installed, updated and removed and has even seen some Minefield builds. Not completely surprising, my firefox seems sluggish. I'd like to start from scratch with a clean profile, but I can't do this without my history, bookmarks and saved passwords. How would I go about this?

  • Are there webcam with their own IP address?

    I am looking for a small, rugged web-cam, which can be hand-held or perhaps mountable. It must have its own IP address so that anyone can view its video stream from a web browser. I would prefer 2 way voice communication too. Encryption of data is nice, as is compression (H.264). Maybe also remote control, like causing it to zoom from the browser. Does anyone have any suggestions, even suggestions of somewhere else to look?

    I have port forwarded our front-facing IP to an internal HTTPS server. The browser does not connect. A wget command determines that the certificate is self-signed for the internal IP. Hence why the browser is refusing to display the page properly. What is the best-practice scenario for this sort of stuff? Thanks

So, if I have 40 Open Tabs, and I want to keep only 3 open, this addon should be able to close the other 37.     i know how IP basically works, and knows that an IP address composed of a network ID portion and a host ID portion, but when I type a IP address ,say "8.8.8.8" into the web browser, i DIDN'T supply any subnet mask information, so how does the browser know where the dividing line is between the network ID and host ID? since 8.8.8.8 may mean 8.8.8.8/8, 8.8.8.8/24 etc. In a nutshell, the IP address I supplied is ambiguous.

    I'm setting up a Squid forward proxy and I'm wondering if I could configure Squid in such a way that the connection from my web browser to squid is https regardless of whether the connection from squid to the destination website is http or https. In other words, I want my connection from my web browser to my forward proxy to be encrypted even though I'm just surfing normal http website through that proxy. Can it be done?

    I use firefox to visit a web server running on a computer on my LAN. I notice that sometimes TCP doesn't acknowledge the packets it receives. For example, in the following captured packets: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-LaBUj9KtQhS0RYNXF1RjZTa2M/edit?usp=sharing the 7th 9th and 11th packets are duplicated ACK, the browser receives TCP packets 6,8 and 10, but the browser TCP stack doesn't acknowledge the received packets, why?

  • Google chrome crashes when you paste from a remote session

    I often have a remote desktop session or a java remoting tool up and whenever i copy from within a remote session and paste into chrome browser, the browser freezes and i have to kill it for anything to work again. has anyone seen this or have a resolution? i have to remember to copy and paste into notepad first and then copy from notepad and then into chrome which is a pain. I am using google chrome 5.0
