    When a UITextField with custom frame (200 × 54 px) loses focus, the text looks a little bit blurry. example screenshot Is this a common problem? Any workaround / solution or am I doing something wrong?

    I have a custom UITableViewCell which I have created in IB. My labels display when I don't over-ride: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath however my content is squished. I want the height to be 120px so I have the following: - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tblView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { CGFloat rowHeight = 120; return rowHeight; } I'm not sure why the content inside of my UITableViewCell all of a sudden disappears?

    hi- i'm following the instructions on how to build a custom search provider for windows federated search: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd742956(v=VS.85) i'm returning local results of the form: File://C:\Users\user\file.txt however, when i perform a search, i get results that say: "This item was blocked because of your Internet security settings". how can i change my security settings so that federated search will allow my customer search provider to return local filesystem results? thanks.

  • Force a view change from a button when using UITabBarController

    Hello - When using a UITabBarController, when the user enters some data on View1 and presses a button, I need to perform some calculations and present the results on View2. I have an AppDelegate, View1Controller, View2Controller, and View3Controller (View3 is a basically static view). My AppDelgate declares UITabBarController *rootController; On View1, I have the calculations being performed in an IBAction for buttonPressed; however, I can't seem to force the view to switch to View2 programmatically. I have done a lot of searching for similar problems, and think I should be doing something like "self.rootController.selectedIndex = 1"; however,when I do this from within buttonPressed on my View1Controller, I get an error "request for member rootController in something not in a structure or union". I think I'm missing something basic here... probably need do do something with my AppDelegate, but I'm banging my head against the wall. Can anyone provide some guidance in this situation...like key things I should do in View1Controller header and implementation with reference to my AppDelgate? Thank you!

    Hi all, I did developed a custom SharePoint Web Service . It is working fine when using http. But when we configure SSL(https) , it is not working and throwing the below error. Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission, Microsoft.SharePoint.Security, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bcee11233hj' failed.   • A "region code" restriction for a custom created video dvd file

    I want to create a video dvd ( no menus, just "plug and play" ) from a few video files. I`m doing it like this: ffmpeg -i sample-media/hellboy-2.wmv -y -target ntsc-dvd sample-media-to-mpeg/hellboy-2.vob dvdauthor -o sample-dvd -x dvdauthor-settings.xml mkisofs -dvd-video -o hellboy-2-trailers.iso sample-dvd/ where "dvdauthor-settings.xml" is: link. But when I try to play the iso file in windows it says: Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because the disc prohibits playback in your region of the world. You must obtain a disc that is intended for your geographic region. When I open the *.IFO file with IfoEdit it says that all world regions are unabled. Can someone tell me why is this happening? ( maybe the whole process of creating the *.iso file is wrong? )

  • Microsoft Outlook: show multi-day appointments as boxes in calendar day and week view

    I would like to show appointments spanning several days the same way as appintments within a single day. Single day appointments are shown with a white or colored box, covering the day horizontally. Multi-day appointments are shown in the day/week header and are indicated blue or purple on the left side of a day. This happens even if a multi-day appointment is not an all-day appointment (i.e. checkbox is off) and I have a start and end time. I frequently have a hard time seeing appointment overlaps wenn acceping single day appointments. Therefore I am looking for multi-day appointments shown the same way as single day appointments. I am on Outlook 2003.

    Hi, I'm trying to implement custom dynamic error pages following this post: http://www.perfectline.co.uk/blog/custom-dynamic-error-pages-in-ruby-on-rails I did exactly what the blog post says. I included config.action_controller.consider_all_requests_local = false in my environment.rb. But is not working. My browser shows: Routing Error No route matches "/555" with {:method=>:get} So, it looks like the rescues are not fired. I get the following in my log file: ActionController::RoutingError (No route matches "/555" with {:method=>:get}): Rendering rescues/layout (not_found) Is there some routing interfering with the code? I'm not sure what to look for. I'm running rails 2.3.5.   • Intranet Ip - Access from Custom Domain

    I have setup a local intranet in my office using IIS7 (Windows 7 Machine), currently it can be accessed through the PC's static IP, however I would like it so that internally it can just be accessed through an easier method, e.g typing in http://intranet (or something similar). There are over 60 PC's int he office, so individually updating Host files on the PC's is not really ideal. We don't need it to be accessible from the outside world (I.e, we don't care/want it to be an Extranet). Any tips?

    I have: a video which has mono audio inside a audio (mono) I'd like to merge those two to a single video file containing: video from #1 audio from #1 full left pan + audio #2 full right pan Is this possible in ffmpeg using 1 command? I've tried the following which almost does this but the video/audio gets out of sync: ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -filter_complex "amovie=audio.wav [r] ; [r] amerge" output.mp4 -y I've managed to do it with multiple commands: #1 create right panned audio ffmpeg -i audio.wav -ac 2 -vbr 5 audio-stereo.mp3 -y ffmpeg -i audio-stereo.mp3 -af pan=stereo:c1=c1 audio-right.mp3 -y #2 create left panned video ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -af pan=stereo:c0=c0 video-left.mp4 -y #3 merge the two ffmpeg -i video-left.mp4 -i audio-right.mp3 -filter_complex "amix=inputs=2" video-mixed.mp4 -y It does the job, but is it possible with 1 command?
