(Normally I only use document.ready, but in this case I need to insert some Information into the DOM that then is present, when document.ready is called. This is some kind of "happens-before" relations ship I want to achieve so that I am shure when document.ready is called the inserted Form field is available in the document, as I depend on that information.   • Updating the datalist in a RadComboBox

    So I'm just struggling with a lot of little things in the web app so I'm checking up with all kinds of stuff to make sure i'm not breaking it cause of stupid problems. At some point in my web app (trying to keep it mostly Asynchronous) I have to update the list in my RadComboBox because something was added. Do I just need to call RadComboBox.DataBind() again? Since I don't explicitly use its datasource(I do it in the manual insert using a string fashion) object to insert my new record do I need to tell that to update? The list just doesn't seem to update when i just call databind so I feel like i need to have the datasource recheck for entries or SOMETHING Thanks

    I have tedious project coming up. I need to insert a usb flash drive into a computer, then copy over three files to that drive, and then unmount it and repeat 3000 times (literally). I was hoping to come up with some VB Script that can reduce my input to just 1.) insert the usb and 2.) double click on the .vbs file and remove the usb flash drive. I figure it isnt too difficult to come up with the copy and paste part of the code as long as I am inserting the usb into the same port every time. Is this assumption correct? However, the real problem is unmounting/ejecting the usb drive. Is there any simple VB Script code that can accomplish this? Thank you, -Corey

    Guys, I am using dynamic programming approach to solve a problem. Here is a brief overview of the approach Each value generated is identified using 25 unique keys. I use the boost::hash_combine to generate the seed for the hash table using these 25 keys. I store the values in a hash table declared as boost::unordered_map<Key_Object, Data_Object, HashFunction> hashState; I did a time profiling on my algorithm and found that nearly 95% of the run time is spent towards retrieving/inserting data into the hash table. These were the details of my hash table hashState.size() 1880 hashState.load_factor() 0.610588 hashState.bucket_count() 3079 hashState.max_size() 805306456 hashState.max_load_factor() 1 hashState.max_bucket_count() 805306457 I have the following two questions Is there anything which I can do to improve the performance of the Hash Table's insert/retrieve operations? C++ STL has hash_multimap which would also suit my requirement. How does boost libraries unordered_map compare with hash_multimap in terms of insert/retrieve performance.

    My idea is to create some generic classes for Insert/Update/Select via a C# (3.5) Winforms app talking with a MySQL database via MySQL .NET Connector 6.2.2. For example: public void Insert(string strSQL) { if (this.OpenConnection() == true) { MySqlCommand cmd = new MySqlCommand(strSQL, connection); cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); this.CloseConnection(); } } Then from anywhere in the program I can run a query with/without user input by just passing a SQL query string. Reading around on SO is starting to give me the indication that this may lead to SQL injection attacks (for any user-input values). Is there anyway of scrubbing the inputted strSQL or do I need to go and create individual parameterized queries in every method that needs to do a database function?

I would like to take this generated code and insert it as a new class and interface directly into the currently opened solution under a specific project and directory. I will create the menu tool that will generate the class but what I don't know how to do is gain access to the following items from within my custom Visual Studio Extension: Iterate the current solution and find a project to dump the generated code into. Open a new file window within Visual Studio and inject the generated text that comes from my tool directly into that window. Create a new folder in a specific project within the current solution from within my custom extension.     I have two tables that I'm filling, 'msrun' and 'feature'. 'feature' has a foreign key pointing to the 'msrun_name' column of the 'msrun' table. Inserting in the tables works fine. But when I try to delete from the 'feature' table I get the following error: pysqlite2.dbapi2.OperationalError: foreign key mismatch From the rules of foreign keys in the manual of SQLite: - The parent table does not exist, or - The parent key columns named in the foreign key constraint do not exist, or - The parent key columns named in the foreign key constraint are not the primary key of the parent table and are not subject to a unique constraint using collating sequence specified in the CREATE TABLE, or - The child table references the primary key of the parent without specifying the primary key columns and the number of primary key columns in the parent do not match the number of child key columns. I can see nothing that I'm violating. The problem is that I'm getting the SQL error: Column count doesn’t match value count at row 1 The database is an innoDB and all columns are varChar/Char except for the ID field which is an auto increment primary key.

    Hello, Got nothing better to do this Christmas holiday, so I decided to try out making a binary search tree. I'm stuck with the print function. How should the logic behind it work? Since the tree is already inserting it in a somewhat sorted order, and I want to print the tree from smallest values to the biggest. So I need to travel to the furthest left branch of the tree to print the first value. Right, so after that how do I remember the way back up, do I need to save the previous node? A search in wikipedia gave me an solution which they used stack. And other solutions I couldn't quite understand how they've made it, so I'm asking here instead hoping someone can enlight me. I also wonder my insert function is OK.     Hi All, I'm currently working in Swing UI Assignment. This work involves showing large file content in JTextArea. The file size can be as large as 2 GB. My initial idea is to lazily load content from the file, say 1 MB of content will be shown to the user. As the user scrolls i will retrieve the next 1 MB of content to be shown. All these operation will be happening in background thread (Swing Worker). I looked at the JTextArea API, the method insert takes String and int(position of the insert) as the parameter. This will suffice, but i'm worried about performance, because the content (1 MB at a time) retrieved will have to be converted to String object. Is there any other work around or any other alternative/better solution for this.
