  I think I may be missing the obvious but I'm not sure. The section on subclassing NSDocument in the docs states that subclasses of NSDocument must override one reading and one writing method. If I'm creating a viewer application that will not write anything back, do I still need to override a writing method (returning what, nil?) or can I ignore it and make sure that there are no saving methods that can get called?

With two models like so: class School(models.Model): name = models.CharField("Official School Name", max_length=128) address = models.TextField("Address of the School", max_length=256) mascot = models.CharField("Name of the School Mascot", max_length=128) class StudentProfile(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=128) school = models.ForeignKey(School) If the student gets created before the school, how do I give 'school' a default empty value? Is it blank or null or what? Thanks!

• FirePHP not returning ajax request queries, yet returns normal page load queries

  I am using firePHP(Zend profiler) on on FF 3.6.3(firephp addon installed) and it returns queries, when I do a normal page load. Ajax requests, however, are not returning the proper queries. I am using Prototype 1.6.0.2 for ajax requests. Is there something I am missing? Most of the write-ups seem to imply that this should work by default.

  I've got a really nasty problem... I wrote a red5 app and so on and it is running perfectly on my local computer. Now the problem occurs = How can I make this program work on a remote server? Local : OSX 10.5 - red5 0.63 Server: CentOS 5 - red5 0.90 Maybe its because of the version difference... but I can't test red5 0.90 locally becaus it won't start up -.-' and I can't install the 0.63 on the server because of missing dependencies (and broken links to them...)

However, since java ee 6 is dependent on java se 6, it seems you can not get at the ee version of the annotation and the 'lookup' attribute.   Hi, I am doing this: @person.attributes = params[:person] Can anyone give me a clue as to why doing an attributes= would cause a bunch of SQL to show in my logs? I see a couple of SELECT and even an UPDATE. I swear I am not doing a "save" -- so I have no idea why setting attributes would trigger queries. Is there a before_ of after_ filter I am missing?   I set up Aslak's Cucumber.tmbundle in Texmate, set up PATH in Shell Variables to /Users/gerhard/.rvm/bin:/Users/gerhard/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin but when I run any of the bundle commands I get this: env: sh\r: No such file or directory /usr/bin/env sh is in the search path, so what am I missing?

• Compiling Glib Code on Ubuntu

  I'm trying to compile ARCCC (https://sourceforge.net/projects/arccc/) on Ubuntu 9.10, but I'm getting the make error "glib.h: No such file or directory", and the autoconfig script reports that Glib isn't installed. However, I have the libglib2.0-dev package installed, which appears to provide all the glib headers. Is there something missing/wrong with the Ubuntu package, or the Autoconf script incorrect?

They don't compile for a couple of reasons: javax.annotation.Nullable can not be found javax.annotation.ParametersAreNonnullByDefault can not be found Cannot reduce the visibility of the inherited method #createCollection() from AbstractMultimap + 11 similar ones Name clash: The method forcePut(K, V) of type AbstractBiMap has the same erasure as forcePut(Object, Object) of type BiMap but does not override it + 2 similar ones What am I missing? I also wonder if unit tests for these collections are available to the public.

  I am receiving the error noted below. I have built/rebuilt the files sevaral time. I have alson renamed the file the file in the *.exe The NetworkAssociation.exe file is in the debug folder. Any help would be wonderful Visual Studio cannot start debugging because the debub target 'c:\NetworkAssociation\NetworkAssociation\Bin\Debug\NetworkAssociation.exe' is missing. Please build the project and retry, or set the OutputPath and AssemblyName properties appropriately to point at the correct location.
