    In Outlook 2010, if I accidently, hit left ctrl shift, my language changes. I keep hitting it and get a new language, but I can't get back to English. How do i reset back to my default language? Going to control panel - lanuage and region and hitting default there does not work. Also, how do i configure my outlook 2010 and all office products to NEVER change language? I only want to use English

    Hi, I was wondering if it is possible, in Exchange server 2010, to disable a mailbox account, lets call it mailuser and if anyone sends a E-mail for [email protected] then it will send a mail back with some sort of standard "This E-mail is no longer in use. Please write to [email protected] instead" mail. I know I can create an "out-of-office" reply from the users outlook, but it would be so much faster to do it within the exchange server.     Hi, My mother has some serious issues using Windows (viruses, spywares, and so on) and I seriously think about setting up Ubuntu as a replacement. (That would ease my "job" as well) The only concern I have is, is there anything to edit .docx (or .xlsx, .pptx, ...) documents on Linux ? Last time I tried OpenOffice (was 3 years ago), it was only able to open "old" MS Office documents (.doc, .xls, ...). Thank you very much for your answers !

  • Solver Add-in not loading correctly

    When I try to open solver from inside excel 2010, I get the error message: "Solver: An unexpected internal error occurred, or available memory was exhausted." The only way I have been able to get Solver to work is by going to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\Library\SOLVER\", and just opening the file called "SOLVER.xlam". If I open excel through that file, the program works fine. Is there a way to solve this issue?

    I have Microsoft Project Professional 2003 installed (11.2.2005.1801.15, SP2). I have been trying to open a MPP file created in a newer version so need the converter, which is part of SP3. But when I try to install the SP3 package (as downloaded from Microsoft's site) I get an error message box: --------------------------- Project 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) --------------------------- The expected version of the product was not found on your system. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Project (and Office) are licensed and otherwise work correctly. Any advice?

I would like to see keyboard log of each worker computer from my laptop without disturbing my workers. I should be able to see each keyboard log from my laptop (from GUI or e-mail message) Also, is it possible to limit the logging? For example I would not to see log of msn messenger, but I should see log of IE,Outlook etc...?

  • Path Not Found error when opening VB6 project from a shared folder on Virtual PC 2007 (XP sp3)

    I currently work on a small software team that primarily maintains legacy software. I am trying to set up a VirtualPC that we can use to do this maintenance. Specifically, I would like to be able to debug and run VB6 web apps from a folder on the host pc. My constraints are as follows: The VirtualPC will not be registered on the domain. The server that hosts our Subversion repository does not run the subversion service so the only way to interact with the repository is through "file:\\", which requires domain authentication. It is not possible to debug/run VB6 web apps that are located on mapped network drives, because IIS requires that the VirtualPC be on the same domain as the network drive I would like to avoid having to copy the folder from the host pc to the VirtualPC and then copying it back in order to have the latest revision from Subversion So, I am trying to use VirtualPC's shared folder feature to share the host machine's Subversion directory and open the project in VB6 on the VirtualPC. Problem is that Visual Basic throws the error: "Path not found: '\\C:\\Subversion\Path\Project.vbp'" when I try to open it. Folder C:\Subversion on the host machine is mapped to G: on the VirtualPC. If anyone can help me resolve this error or find some other way to accomplish this, I would be deeply grateful. Oh, both host and virtual OS is Windows XP sp3. Using VB 6.0, IIS v5.1.   • MS SQL 2008, join or no join?

    Just a small question regarding joins. I have a table with around 30 fields and i was thinking about making a second table to store 10 of those fields. Then i would just join them in with the main data. The 10 fields that i was planning to store in a second table does not get queried directly, it's just some settings for the data in the first table. Something like: Table 1 Id Data1 Data2 Data3 etc ... Table 2 Id (same id as table one) Settings1 Settings2 Settings3 Is this a bad solution? Should i just use 1 table? How much performance inpact does it have? All entries in table 1 would also then have an entry in table 2. Small update is in order. Most of the Data fields are of the type varchar and 2 of them are of the type text. How is indexing treated? My plan is to index 2 data fields, email (varchar 50) and author (varchar 20). And yes, all records in Table 1 will have a record in Table 2. Most of the settings fields are of the bit type, around 80%. The rest is a mix between int and varchar. The varchars can be null.

    Followed the instructions on the Rails wiki and have had success connecting to SQL Server 2000 with TSQL -- both with DSN-less and DNS connections. I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.3. Wiki instructions here. Installed ruby-odbc, dbi (0.4.0), dbd-odbc (2.4.5), activerecord-sqlserver-adapter (2.3.5). In my database.yml (Rails 2.3.6): development: adapter: sqlserver mode: ODBC dsn: 'DRIVER=/usr/local/lib/libtdsodbc.so;TDS_Version=8.0;SERVER=mssql01.discountasp.net;DATABASE=DB_164368_dmusd;Port=1433;uid=DB_164368_dmusd_user;pwd=Schools77;' This yields the following error: ODBC::Error: S1090 (0) [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Invalid string or buffer length When I attempt to use a DSN connection, I get the following error: ODBC::Error: IM002 (0) [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified I have in fact verified that the FreeTDS driver (libtdsodbc.so) is installed and the path correct.     I've search for answers for this and I can't seem to find an answer to what should be somewhat simple. This is related to another question I asked, but it's different. What's the best way to take a user's search phrase and throw it into a CONTAINSTABLE(table, column, @phrase, topN ) phrase? Say, for example the user inputs: Books by "Dr. Seuss" What's the best way to turn that into something that will return results in my ContainsTAble() phrase? I was previously parsing the search phrase and writing something like ISABOUT("Books" WEIGHT(1.0), "by" WEIGHT(0.9), "Dr. Seuss" WEIGHT(0.8)) as my @phrase but ISABOUT seems to be returning odd results... especially when one word searches are entered. Any Ideas?
