• Force language change from custom account creation script through url

  I have made a custom 'Account Creation' script so that users can login from my phone application. What I want is to be able to change the responses from the server depending on their locale. So when I request a page I would add lang=en or lang=zh etc. This works http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=en Response: <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>Please enter your name:</message> </resource> This does not work: http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=zh Response: <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>Please enter your name:</message> </resource> If I go into Joomla at set the default language to chinese, it works. <resource classification="error" code="Error (Code: 500)"> <message>????????</message> </resource> but http://mysite.com/phone/my_custom_account_creation.php?lang=en does not work, instead it continues to show the chinese version. What might I be able to do here?

As I know resolution is 180 * tileSize.w / Math.pow(2, zoom) //where tileSize is 256x256 Since Google projection is same with my tiles WGS84 boundary should be -180,-90,90,180 I need to calculate to extent coordinates,but in function getTileUrl,there are two arguments.One of which is zoom,but the other coord is some x,y pair which I dont understand what that is.What is that exactly ? • Serializing a class containing a custom class

  I want to serialize an object as xml that contains other custom classes. From what I understand (I've been reading MSDN and SO mostly), the XmlSerializer doesn't take this into account. This is the line that's confusing me: XML serialization serializes only the public fields and property values of an object into an XML stream. XML serialization does not include type information. For example, if you have a Book object that exists in the Library namespace, there is no guarantee that it will be deserialized into an object of the same type. Taken from MSDN, here For example, I want to serialize an object of type Order, but it contains a list of Products, and each one contains an object of type Category: class Order { List<Product> products; } class Product { Category type; } class Category { string name; string description; } And I want my Order object to be serialized like so: <Order> <Product> <Category Name=""> <Description></Description> </Category> </Product> <Product> <Category Name=""> <Description></Description> </Category> </Product> <Order> Does the XmlSerializer already do this? If not, is there another class that does or do I have to define the serialization process myself?

• Showing a MKAnnotation for custom object

  I have a list of objects and each of those has a title, name, description, latitude, longitude and address. Is it possible to show this objects as MKAnnotations? I've been stuck with this for hours now. • Safe way for getting/finding a vertex in a graph with custom properties -> good programming practice

  Hi, I am writing a Graph-class using boost-graph-library. I use custom vertex and edge properties and a map to store/find the vertices/edges for a given property. I'm satisfied with how it works, so far. However, I have a small problem, where I'm not sure how to solve it "nicely". The class provides a method Vertex getVertex(Vertexproperties v_prop) and a method bool hasVertex(Vertexproperties v_prop) The question now is, would you judge this as good programming practice in C++? My opinion is, that I have first to check if something is available before I can get it. So, before getting a vertex with a desired property, one has to check if hasVertex() would return true for those properties. However, I would like to make getVertex() a bit more robust. ATM it will segfault when one would directly call getVertex() without prior checking if the graph has a corresponding vertex. A first idea was to return a NULL-pointer or a pointer that points past the last stored vertex. For the latter, I haven't found out how to do this. But even with this "robust" version, one would have to check for correctness after getting a vertex or one would also run into a SegFault when dereferencing that vertex-pointer for example. Therefore I am wondering if it is "ok" to let getVertex() SegFault if one does not check for availability beforehand?

• Can't give my custom prototype cells in tableview different heights

  I've looked around at other questions here and many other sources online and just can't find a solution. I have 3 rows and no matter what I do, they all keep the width defined in the tableview. The first one is what I want, but the second and 3rd I can't give a custom height. • Custom collision

  I was recently assigned to create a siple game using the Corona SDK. The main pillar of the game would be a simple event: the user should put a ball in a basket, and I should be able to handle this event. Here is a picture for better understanding: I successfully managed to create the collision shape for the basket, but i have trouble with the collision of the inside of this basket. My first thought was the following: create a new shape size and position it to fit the "belly" of this basket add it to the physics-world, and listen to the collision. With hybrid drawing it looks like this: But there is a problem: if i add this shape to the physics, it wouldn't let the ball fall into the, basket, it will handle this shape as a solid object as well. So my question is: How could I get this custom object to collide, without blocking the ball to fall through it? I have read a lots of forum post with similar questions but none of them got a proper answer. There must be a way to do this in an elegant way. And one note: Please don't suggest checking the collision manually, with rectangle intersection, because in this simple case it would work, but later I may need to change the shape of the basket, and then it will be useless!

  I am writing my first custom column name applier for ConfORM. How do I check if another column has already been map with same mapping name? If I don't handle this scenario ConfORM/NHibernate allows two different properties to 'share' the same column name - this is obviously creates a problem for me.

  In my little project here I have sorted a list in decending order, however, my goal is to sort it in this custom pattern. (largest - smallest - next largest - next smallest -)etc. In java I was able to do this like this... My goal is to do the same thing but in python, except backwards.   I'm trying to store a user list in a config file. I've been looking at DictionarySectionHandler and NameValueSectionHandler. I'm not too sure what the difference between these two is, but anyway, neither of them do exactly what I'd like. You can add a custom config section like so: <configSections> <section name="userAges" type="System.Configuration.DictionarySectionHandler"/> </configSections> <userAges> <add key="userName1" value="10" /> <add key="userName2" value="52" /> <userAges> Which is ok, but actually I'd prefer to be able to write: ... <userAges> <add user="userName1" age="10" /> <add user="userName2" age="52" /> <userAges> Which I feel would make the config file clearer to anyone who needed to add/remove users in future. Is there an easy way to do this?

  Hello everyone, I'm trying to bind a Label's 'Content' property to a property from some custom type I have; unfortunately, I didn't figure out how to do it, and that's why I'm here :) Let's assume that I have the following type (can be in the same namespace as my WPF Window that contains the Label or different namespace): namespace MyNS { pubic class Person { private int age = 0; public int Age { get { return age; } } public void GetOlder { age++; } } } 1) How to I bind my Label to 'Age' property? 2) At runtime I will create an instance of 'Person'; I want to make sure that my Label is bound to the right instance; i.e. if I called: Person SomePerson = new Person(); SomePerson.GetOlder(); I want my Lable to have the new value of 'Age' property for 'SomePerson'. 3) If #2 was possible (I hope so), what if I called 'GetOlder' in different thread? • WPF - Overlapping Custom Tabs in a TabControl and ZIndex

  Problem I have a custom tab control using Chrome-shaped tabs that binds to a ViewModel. Because of the shape, the edges overlap a bit. I have a function that sets the tabItem's ZIndex on TabControl_SelectionChanged which works fine for selecting tabs, and dragging/dropping tabs, however when I Add or Close a tab via a Relay Command I am getting unusual results. Does anyone have any ideas? I know some of the changes are in effect because if none of them were working then the tab edges would be reversed (the right tabs would be drawn on top of the left ones). Clicking a tab will correctly set the zindex of all tabs (including the one that should be drawn on top) and dragging/dropping them to rearrange them also renders correctly (which removes and reinserts the tab item). The only difference I can think of is I am using the MVVM design pattern and the buttons that Add/Close tabs are relay commands. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?? p.s. I did try setting a ZIndex in my ViewModel and binding to it, however the same thing happens when adding/removing tabs via the relay command. EDIT: Being a new user I couldn't post images and could only post 1 link. Images just show a picture of what the tags render as after each scenario. Adding more then 1 at a time will not reset the zindex of other recently-added tabs so they go behind the tab on the Right, and closing tabs does not correctly render the ZIndex of the SelectedTab that replaces it and it shows up behind the tab on its right.

  I have been strugging with this for a while, it would have been simple to do in WindowForms. I am making a IRC Client, there will be a number of Tabs one for each channel connect to. Each Tab needs to show a number of things, UserList, MessageHistory, Topic. In WindowForms i would just have inherited from TabItem, added some Custom Properties, and Controls, and done. In WPF i am having some slight issues with working out how to do it. • WCF custom certificate validation with BasicHttpBinding

  I have a WCF application hosted on IIS 6 that needs to Have 2-way SSL authentication Validate client certificate content with some client host information Validate client certificate is issued by the valid subCA. I was able to do 1) successfully. I am trying to achieve 2) and 3) by following this - basically creating a class that inherits X509CertificateValidator and overriding the Validate method with my own validation implementation(step 2 and 3). I followed the MSDN instructions exactly however, it seem that the Validate method is not being called. I purposely throw a SecurityAccessDeniedException in the overidden Validate method and no exception is thrown when I tried to access the service via my browser. I can still access my website with any client certificate. I also read this thread but it didn't really help. Any help would be greatly appreciated! One of the most interested things for web developers is the support introduced for new HTML 5 form controls. When rendered in non-supported browsers, these fields are behaving just as normal text boxes. So make sure you are using validation controls with these fields. See the browser support compatability matrix with these controls with various browser vendors. ASP.Net 4.5 introduced the support for these new form controls. You can build interactive forms using the newly added controls, keeping in mind that you need to validate the data for non-supported browsers.

• Forward event from custom UIControl subclass

  My custom subclass extend UIControl (MyCustomUIControl) Basically it contains 3 subviews: UIButton (UIButtonTypeCustom) UIImageView UILabel All the class works great but now I want to connect some events generated from this class to another. In particular when the button is pressed I want to forward the event to the owner viewcontroller so that I can handle the event. The problem is that I can't figure out how to implement this behaviour. Within EditableImageView I can catch the touch event using [button addTarget:self action:@selector(buttonPressed:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside] but I don't know how to forward it inside of the buttonPressed selector. I also tried to implement touchesBegan but it seems never called...   I have created a new ActionFilter for an ASP.NET MVC application that I'm creating. I have an action which accepts an Http Post and the argument of the action method accepts an object, for which I have created and registered a custom model binder. I noticed that inside the IActionFilter.OnActionExecuting the value for filterContext.Controller.ViewData.Model is always null despite the fact that it looks like the model binder is always invoked before the action filter OnActionExecuting method. In contrast to this inside the IActionFilter.OnActionExecuted method of the same action filter the value for filterContext.Controller.ViewData.Model is not null. Do you guys know if this is by design or a bug? If by design are their any links which describe why this is? Thanks.

Because otherwise I get an error saying: "A master name cannot be specified when the view is a ViewUserControl." But when I take the uninstall exe file out from the setup and run it separately on Windows 7, (not through the setup, by just double-clicking on the exe) it removes the registry entry perfectly. Any idea what the problem is?

Before calling a "WebMethod" of this service, I need to custom the http header of my request.   I am trying to use HTML5 data- attributes in my ASP.NET MVC 1 project. Anonymous type members must be declared with a member assignment, simple name or member access. It works when I use data_details, but I guess it need to be starting with "data-" as per the spec. My questions: Is there any way to get this working and use HTML5 data attributes with Html.ActionLink or similar Html helpers ? Is there any other alternative mechanism to attach custom data to an element? This data is to be processed later by JS.

• Slow performance when utilizing Interop.DSOFile to search files by Custom Document Property

  I am new to the world of VB.NET and have been tasked to put together a little program to search a directory of about 2000 Excel spreadsheets and put together a list to display based on the value of a Custom Document Property within that spreadsheet file. Given that I am far from a computer programmer by education or trade, this has been an adventure. I've gotten it to work, the results are fine. The problem is, it takes well over a minute to run. It is being run over a LAN connection. When I run it locally (using a 'test' directory of about 300 files) it executes in about 4 seconds. I'm not sure even what to expect as a reasonable execution speed, so I thought I would ask here. The code is below, if anyone thinks changes there might be of use in speeding things up.
