  For both my bank accounts I can only access 18 months of history. To access older account history, you have to pay a certain amount of money for each old statement. Why do banks do that? Shouldn't this practice go away as we get bigger hard disks and cheaper storage?

Yes, i know there is Mozilla Storage API, but it looks like it is much more easier with Gears to have local database and to upload local changes to server using WorkerPool. The reason is that I am rendering results of a form submit on the same page as the page handler. I have this working, but I am using global variables, which I don't like. I'd like to be able to use the $form_state['storage'] for this, but can't since I don't have access to the $form_state variable from the page handler. Any suggestions?

  When you attach a file to an e-mail using the ACTION_SEND intent (with the extra EXTRA_STREAM) does the e-mail app copy that attached file to its own location? My app creates a file and attaches it to an email, but this can happen many times and I would like to be able to delete this file when it is no longer needed (so it doesn't flood the user's storage with junk data). Is the file safe to delete after the e-mail intent has started?

With a little research I found Iris (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-iris-browser.html), a Webkit based browser with some HTML5 features, but localStorage and Web Database doesn't work on it.   Hi, I'm puzzled by some behaviour I'm seeing when copying a float array member into another variable - please help! For example data_entry[1] = 9.6850069951 new_value = data_entry[1] <comment> #print both 9.6850069951 9.6850663300 I'm aware of the problem of binary storage of floats but I thought with a direct copy of memory we would end up with the same value.
