• [LaTex]: Add in the TOC an included PDF

  In my document I include a PDF using \includepdf[pages=-]{./mypdf.pdf} The problem I'm having is how to add a TOC entry for this pdf. It supposed to be an appendix. I tried adding a new section in the appendix but of course the section name can't be printed on the same page than the included pdf, so the resulting TOC line directs to a wrong page. if I use \addcontentsline I loose the numbering and the page is wrong too because the included pdf actually starts at the next page... I'm a bit lost here so I would really appreciate if someone knows how to do this. note: the pdf I try to include was not generated from LaTex. Thanks in advance.

• Add code before initialization of units in Delphi

  Is there a place where I can add code that will be executed before unit initialization? The reason I want to do this is I need to change the DecimalSeparator, this has to be done before the initialization of some units. I have put it in the project source, before Application.Initialize but it is too late by then. As I see it the only choice I have is to put it in the initialization of the unit that needs the DecimalSeparator to be changed, is this the case? Thanks in advance for any advice.

• Paperclip + ImageMagick on Windows 7: Image display fails when I add styles to attached_file in mode

  I'm working with Ruby on rails 2.3.8, NetBeans IDE. I've installed paperclip and I could show/save images successfully. Now, I've installed ImageMagick-6.6.2-4-Q16(for windows 7, 64bits). Until that moment, my model looked like this(and worked fine): has_attached_file :photo Now, after installing ImageMagick, when I add the :style line it fails: has_attached_file :photo, :styles => {:thumb => "100x100#", :small => "150x150>", :large => "400x400>" } and it throws the following error message when I try to upload an image: TypeError in ProfilesController#update backtrace must be Array of String The only thing I'm doing in the update action of that controller is the following: @profile.update_attributes(params[:profile]) @profile.update_attribute(:photo, params[:profile][:photo]) I've also installed miniMagick gem(because I read somewhere I had to do it). What am I missing?

  Lets say I have domain model with Automobile and Wheels. Wheels is a List of Wheels Wheels has a many-to-one relationship to Automobile. If I get an object back from Hibernate and it has 4 wheels. I take that object remove the 4 wheels and add 4. And then Save. If I ask Hibernate for the object again and it returns an auto with 8 wheels... what are we doing wrong? I don't have access to the source for a few days but want to give our Java devs a push in the right direction. Thanks.

  I have two zip archives. Say, set1 has 10 csv files created using Mac OS X 10.5.8 compress option, and set2 has 4 csv files similarly created. I want to take the 4 files from zipped archive set2 and add them to list of files in archive set1. Is there a way I can do that? I tried the following in Terminal: zip set1.zip set2.zip This adds the whole archive set2.zip to set1.zip, i.e., in set1.zip now I have: file1.csv, file2.csv,..., file10.csv, set2.zip What I instead want is: file1.csv, file2.csv,..., file10.csv, file11.csv, ..., file14.csv where, set2.zip is the archive containing file11.csv, ..., file14.csv. • Trying to programmatically add a SQL Alias to the registry (just need help with parameters)

  Normally when we spin up a new instance we need to add an alias on one of our boxes so we can easily connect to it through SSMS using SQL Server Configuration Manager. I have written a batch file which adds the appropriate entry into the registry (it is actually two batch files, one for 32 bit and one for 64 bit). I am not sure how to get this to run with parameters though.   Above is how my report looks, the part in yellow in hidden, and is only shown when the user clicks the + icon on the [name]. the result is basically the percentage difference from the Past [X] - [TERM] i.e there is a dropdown with, [weeks, months, days, hours] and a textbox of qty. so choosing qty = 4 and term = weeks will delivery a result set spread over 4 weeks based on the parent result sets date range and name ID I wish to populate here the number of rows, dependant on the value set by the user and the data will be from a dataset. Is it possible to dynamically add more sub rows ( like on row data bound ) if my first row is ID 123 [name], is it possible to send this value [123] to a dataset in order that all subrows are only relevant to the name with ID of 123? this is my first bash at SSRS so please no half cut answers, that just lead to more questions about the answer given :-) if this makes sense.   If you install the latest java 1.6 jdk, without installing the public jre option, you end up having two \bin dirs with java.exe: %JAVA_HOME%\jre\bin %JAVA_HOME%\bin if you compare those dirs, there are a few files that are identical (java.exe etc), and a bunch that are either in one or the other. So far I used to add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to my Path environment var, but now I am wondering, does it make a difference? Is there any side effect to choose one or the other? And would not be much cleaner if the installation had only one java.exe and \bin folder?

  I want to add an image to a Button (no imagebutton, as the particular button can either contain text or an image; plus the imagebutton has the same problem), while still retaining the original android-style button. So adding android:background in the XML doesn't cut it, as that will remove the android default button with rounded corners etc. (android.R.drawable.btn_default) Is this in any way possible? I think one way is to make a 9patch image for the button pressed (one for up and one for down) and onTouch Action_DOWN make a layered background drawable and put that onto the button, and doing the same thing but with another 9patch for onTouch Action_UP, but I think that will decrease the performance of the application substantially, as that will require quite a lot of resource reading and layer merging for all the button clicks (and for my application, that will be quite a lot). Is what I state above correct?

But the problem I am facing is with the onclick event of the button.Since I am creating the button inside onChildClick(), the button appears, but its onclick event dosent take place.   So I have been googleing around for a couple of days but I have not found a solution so far, so I'm turning to you guys with hope that there even is a possible solution for this. I need to, at the end of each line in a textarea add a linebreak before it is sent to PHP. That is, even if the user does not press enter but if a word get's cut of or it just jumps down a row because it has filled the with of the textarea. And I need to do so with jQuery or Javascript.
