Standalone GUI client for TFS 2010 Source Control

I'm looking for a TFS 2010 GUI client that I can use outside of an IDE. I'm only looking to use the source control features in this case. I'm not talking about work items or build management. Ideally it would be a complete client that can be used on a machine where Visual Studio is not installed. Options I know about and why I'm not satisfied with them: TFS Power Tools - Windows Shell Extension Must have a working copy to use... see chicken or the egg Missing features: view history, branch / merge, revert SvnBridge TFS 2010 not yet supported Are there others that I don't know about?

WebBrowser control HTMLDocument automate selecting option drop-down

I'm trying to automate in a WinForm using a WebBrowser control to navigate and pull report info from a website. You can enter values in textboxes and invoke the click events for buttons and links, but I have not figured out how select a option drop-down .... in a automated way. Google Maps v3, custom control with textbox: can't perform input

Hi, I am trying to add a custom control to my google map (v3): want to have search box just near the other map controls. So I add a div with <input type="textbox"> on it, and it's being shown on the map. Display separator in Sharepoint AspMenu control

All I'm trying to do is display a separator (I've tried images & stylesheets) between the primary navigation menu items in Sharepoint. Here is what I want it to look like: Home | Menu1 | Menu2 | Menu3 When I attempt to use the StaticTopSeparatorImageUrl (using a bar image) it results in the following: Home | Menu1 | Menu2 | Menu3 | This is obviously not a separator, and when I use the StaticBottomSeparatorImageUrl the opposite happens. I also tried to style the ms-topnav class to have a left border, which doesn't work because the control doesn't identify the first (or last) item in the menu... So, my next option was to use the Telerik RadMenu, after fighting to get it into Sharepoint I had difficulties getting it to display like the Sharepoint Menu using the SiteMapDataSource (display only the Home item and no children). This seems SO simple, but it is Sharepoint, so nothing is really simple. I'm wondering if there is either a way to make the default Sharepoint separator work correctly that I might have missed, or is there a GOOD Sharepoint menu replacement that actually takes styling into account?

C# WebBrowser Control System.AccessViolationException

I have a program that uses the built in webbrowser control. At some point during the usage of this, I'm not sure at what point, but it appears to be random, I get the following error: System.AccessViolationException FullText = System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. Calculated control on subform based on current record

I have the following: main form "customer" from a "customer" table. subform "invoices" with fields "invoice date", "invoice amount" "customer id" etc. from a table "invoices" whenever user clicks or goes to a record in the "invoices" sub form. I would like a "total so far" control to calculate the sum of the "invoices amount" up until the date of the current record being "clicked" or selected. i.e. for customer microsoft with invoices: 1) may 2 09, $150 2) may 3 09, $200 3) may 4 09, $500 If user clicks on record 2), "total so far" should show $350 If user clicks on record 1), "total so far" should show $150 If user clicks on record 3), "total so far" should show $850 Currently, I am using DSum function on an event "OnCurrent" in the subform "invoices" to set the "total so far" value. Is this method slow, inefficient? Any other simpler,cleaner,more elegant,faster, efficient method using ms access features? I want the "invoices" subform to show ALL the invoices for this customer no matter which record is clicked.

MS Chart control with WPF C#

Hello, Ive got a MS Chart control and it works just fine except that I can't figure out how to "format" the Y-Axis. I am adding a lot of double numbers into a Serie but when the double numb are actually whole numbers (20.000000.....) the Y-Axis on my chart shows 20. example: this serie : 12.32 11.00 10.13 would actually show up like this: 12.32 11 10.13 I have tried formatting the data as I insert it into the serie like this: serie.Points.AddXY(date.ToString(),double[i].ToString("##.##")); but that doesn't seem to work. I've tried to search for a place to format it in Chart.Series[0].* and Chart.ChartAreas[0].* but I didn't find it there. Thanks in advance, Regards, Birgir Hrafn

Segmented Control to change views

I have created an up/down arrow segmented control button on the right side of the navigation bar in my detail view. In a table based application, how can I use these up/down arrows to move through cells in the parent table? The apple "NavBar" sample code has an example of this but the controls are not functional. The iBird program has this functionality as well and it is very nice. Download the "iBird 15" program for free. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Outlook 2003 View Control with C#

I want to embed a custom c# windows form (or WPF) user control into an outlook view. I am using Outlook 2003 and Visual Studio 2008. I did download an example for Outlook 2007 here: http://blogs.msdn.com/e2eblog/archive/2008/01/09/outlook-folder-homepage-hosting-wpf-activex-and-windows-forms-controls.aspx and also here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa479345.aspx I tested it and under 2007 it is working, but for 2003 i am getting the following error when i want to open the view: Could not complete the operation due to error 80131509 I can start it from Visual Studio, it is registering the folder just fine, debugging works and all that. It creates an HTML page that contains my type as an object parameter - but the Initialize method that should be called is either not present (not shown via JS) or it has some errors. The breakpoints for RegisterSafeForScripting are also never hit - maybe related to that. Thx in advance!

Tree View / File View Control for C#

I have been looking for a C# tree control for displaying a file system that has the following capabilities: Select a starting directory. I don't always want to start at a "default" top directory level. The ability to grab an event when the user double clicks on a file in the tree. I want to handle opening the file within my application. I have been looking at this C# File Browser. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how to do meet my second need. (If anybody can clear that up for me, I would like that even better.) Thanks for any help.

WPF Custom Control - ItemsControl template not being applied.

I'm building a custom WPF control that derives from TabControl. In the ControlTemplate, I'm using a ItemsControl to display a list that is being bound from the template (an observable collection of type FileMenuItem). During program execution, I'm getting the following error in the output window: ItemTemplate and ItemTemplateSelector are ignored for items already of the ItemsControl's container type; Type='FileMenuItem' The type FileMenuItem is derived from MenuItem. I googled the error and couldn't find anything about it, has anyone run into this while developing custom controls? I can post more code if it would help. Thanks!

hi i have a spark List control. it has a dataProvider that shows reply from twitter search. i have created a function for change handler like this: protected function list_changeHandler(event:IndexChangeEvent):void { ta.text = coverflow.selectedItem.title; } so, whenever i select each of the items in the List i will see the message(ta.text) but now, instead of me manually clicking the first time, i want it to automatically click/select the first item and see the first message(ta.text) how do i do it? ... newbie to flex ... :p

Ruby Irb reacts strangely to control keys

Hi. I'm (extremely) new to Ruby, having started today. I just moved from my system's Ruby 1.8 installation to Ruby 1.9, compiled from source. In doing so, irb has taken a turn for the worse. It reacts in a most unfriendly way to the non-alphanumeric control keys: UP key prints: ^[[A DOWN key prints: ^[[B DELETE key prints: ^[[3~ ...and so on. The main result of this for me is that I have no access to previously issued commands. Nor does tab-completion work; though none of this seems to be an issue with Wirble - the same happens when I remove my ~/.irbrc. I'm using: Ubuntu 9.10 GNOME Terminal 2.28.1 ruby 1.9.1p376 (2009-12-07 revision 26041) [i686-linux] Irb version 0.9.5 (05/04/13) Any ideas? :(

I am looking for sample code to create a dynamic Tree control in Flex using a Collection of objects obtained from the backend(Perl cgi). So, initially the Tree will display the root nodes. Clicking root node, will invoke the data for populating the child nodes (basically adding child nodes on demand). Clicking child nodes will pull another collection add child nodes of child node. So, lets assume Initially the Tree will display - Root1 Root2 Root3 Clicking Root1 will display something like this - Root1 Child 1 Child 2 Root2 Root3 And Clicking Child1 will display - Root1 Child 1 Child1 of Child 1 Child2 of Child 1 Child 2 Root2 Root3 Is it possible? Problem using Winforms WebBrowser control as editor

I am currently working on a project where I am using a WebBrowser control as an editor. I have design mode turned on and it seems to be working. The issue im having is when I try to save the Document and load another it pops up the "This document has been modified." message. What I am trying to do is as simple as this if (frontPage) { frontPage = false; frontContent = webEditor.DocumentText; webEditor.DocumentText = backContent; } else { frontPage = true; backContent = webEditor.DocumentText; webEditor.DocumentText = frontContent; } Like I said everytime I enter some text and run this code it just pops up a message saying its been modified and asks if I want to save. How can I get around this?

OpenNETCF Signature control question

I am using the Signature control in OpenNETCF. It works great for most everything I need. However, I need a way invert the signature and load it back in. It has a call to get the "bytes" for the signature (GetSignatureEx()). It returns a byte[] of the signature. This signature can then be loaded back in with LoadSignatureEx(). I can't seem to figure out the system for these bytes. I thought they may be coordinates, but it does not seem so now. If anyone out there knows a way to invert the signature and load it back in, I would be grateful to hear it.

Clear fields on CreateUserWizard, Login control

I have a createuserwizard and a login control on a page. both of them are customized (standard textboxes are replaced by RadTextBoxes) When i enter a value in the form and refresh the browser without submitting, the forms retain their values. Is there any way i can clear these fields on refresh. How to print css applied background images with the winforms webbrowser control

I am using the webbrowser control in winforms and discovered now that background images which I apply with css are not included in the printouts. Is there a way to make the webbrowser print the background of the displayed document too? Edit: Since I wanted to do this programatically, I opted for this solution: using Microsoft.Win32; ... Are there any professional Combobox controls (dropdown list with autosuggestion) based on the jQuery library? It should be able to handle large datasets and have some skinning options. A multi-column result list would be great too. I'm working with ASP.NET, but it's a not a problem if I had to write a wrapper for it. I'm already using a third-party control, but I ran into some compatibilty issues between two vendor's controls. Well, I want to get rid of this kind of dependencies.

HiLo: how to control Low values

I'm using the HiLo generator in my S#rpArchitecture/NHibernate project and I'm performing a large import batch. I've read somewhere about the possibility to predict the Low values of any new records because they are generated on the client. I figure this means I can control the Low values myself or at least fetch the next Low value from somewhere. The reason I want to use this is that I want to set relations to other entities I'm about to insert. They do not exist yet but will be inserted before the batch transaction completes. However, I cannot find information about how to set the Low values or how to get what Low value is up next. Any ideas?

Removing border from tab ui control
