• centos dedicated Server unresponsive for the first time

• tableSorter limitation (sort) one page at a time?

  i see that in tableSorter you can sort one page at a time which concerns me. Only 1 page of results can be sorted at a time?, which is pretty limiting. If you have a query result that spans multiple pages, how you will handle this? If anyone knows better, feel free to correct me if iam incorrect Thanks.

  I'm trying to figure out how much javascript is being loaded on my website. I'm using Reducisaurus to shrink my js files. The problem is, this is causing both YSlow and the Web Developer extension report the size of my files as ~.04K, which I know can't be right (one of the .js files is jquery, which is 50kb). Is there any way to accurately figure out how much time I've saving by using Reducisaurus?

  Hello If I have a method like this: public static String convertDateTimeToString(DateTime dt) { return dt.getDate() + " " + dt.getTime(); } Which takes a Datetime object of my own which contains a Java.sql.date and a Java.sql.time, what is the best way of reversing the process so that I can substring a Java.sql.date and a Java.sql.time from a string? Or if DateTime dt is a JodaTime DateTime object? If this can be done without reference to Java.util.date. Thanks Mr Morgan.

• Rsync: Only preserve meta (time, group, etc) on files and sub-directories, not root directory

  I am copying some files (all except hidden ones) using rsync from one place to another using this command: rsync -Cav --delete --exclude=.* /Some/Directory/ other-host:/Other/Directory It works nice except that I get the following errors: rsync: chgrp "/Other/Directory/." failed: Operation not permitted (1) rsync: failed to set times on "/Other/Directory/.": Permission denied (13) That is understandable because I do in fact not have those permissions, and I also do not want to change the group of that directory. I only want to do this for all the files and directories that are in that directory. Is there any way to solve this? Tried to --exclude=. and --exclude=./, but those didn't work. Any ideas? I have no idea how to fix this... More details: This is on Mac OS X, and the directories I am syncing is from a local mounted volume to the /Users/Shared/ directory on the other host. That directory has user root and group wheel. The files inside it has user admin and group staff and so does the local source directory.

Redundant, if possible. If an auth system goes down everyone is not locked out. Has clients for Windows and Mac. Easy web-based administration (adding/removing users/roles, changing passwords). If not, I can build an administration system without too much effort. One-time log on. I'd also like, when an auth token is issued, to store the user's IP address and use that to authorize the user for some non web-based applications. For that reason, I'd like a desktop client to issue the token and revoke tokens when, for example, the user becomes idle at their workstation. I'm thinking Kerberos might be a solution, but what are other options?

I thought that the contact ids were assigned in an increasing order and just noting the largest id at that point would suffice. But with Android 2.0, the internal sync may merge a contact with an existing one and hence assign an older id to it. I hope I have made my question clear

  As part of our build process and evolving database, I'm trying to create a script which will remove all of the tables and sequences for a user. I don't want to do recreate the user as this will require more permissions than allowed. My script creates a procedure to drop the tables/sequences, executes the procedure, and then drops the procedure. • Nginx with http/https - Http seemed redirected to https all the time

  I've this really weird behaviour with my ubuntu 10.04 / nginx 1.2.3 server. Basically I changed the SSL certificates this morning. And ever since it has been behaving weirdly on all apps. Godaddy is reporting that HTTPS/SSL setup is correct. When I try a page it still works correctly when I'm using HTTPS. But when I try using HTTP nginx reports error : 400 Bad Request The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port After looking around on google for hours, I've tried different setup (while originaly my setup was working correctly for longtime, I just renewed certificates) I kindof found a half solution by adding this to my config : error_page 497 $request_uri; The realllly weird thing is that when I use this setup : server { listen 80; server_name john.johnrocks.eu; access_log /home/john/envs/john_prod/nginx_access.log; error_log /home/john/envs/john_prod/nginx_error.log; location / { uwsgi_pass unix:///home/john/envs/john_prod/john.sock; include uwsgi_params; } location /media { alias /home/john/envs/john_prod/johntab/www; } location /adminmedia { alias /home/john/envs/john_prod/johntab/www/adminmedia; } } I still have the same error when using HTTP (while nothing is setup for HTTPS here)??   Anybody manage to get .net 4.0 applications compiling on a CI server without installing visual studio 2010 on a CI server. No SDK exists for .net 4.0. Have installed .NET 4.0 on CI Server. Msbuild.exe works for simple projects and give the following warning (GetReferenceAssemblyPaths target) - C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Microsoft.Common.targets(847,9): warning MSB3644: The reference assemblies for framework ".NETFramework,Version=v4.0" were not found. To resolve this, install the SDK or Targeting Pack for this framework version or retarget your application to a version of the framework for which you have the SDK or Targeting Pack installed. Note that assemblies will be resolved from the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) and will be used in placeof reference assemblies. Therefore your assembly may not be correctly targeted for the framework you intend.
