    I am using Windows 7 and Ubuntu on the same machine. Earlier I had 3 GB of RAM,but now the Windows is displaying just 1 GB of RAM. Please also find the output of the free command in my Ubuntu : total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 1008208 904808 103400 5736 13516 239596 -/+ buffers/cache: 651696 356512 Swap: 3127292 10252 3117040 Has the swap memory consumed my 2 GB of RAM? Will I be able to use the whole of 3GB of the RAM in my Windows?     I'd love to get this LCD monitor, but I'm wondering if I should hold out until more LED monitors are on the market. I really like the brightness of the 27" iMac monitor and the above monitor is only rated at 5 cd/m2 less than that monitor, but wouldn't a back lit LED monitor appear to be much brighter than an LCD monitor? How do LCD monitors compare to their LED counterparts?

    I wonder how to check if two DVDs are exactly the same? I have two DVDs and if I open the DVDs and copy the content to the HDD and compare the respective files on the HDD it shows no difference. As I know DVD does also have some additional content (this content includes information saying if the DVD is bootable and some formating information I guess). How can I check also this additional content? Is it somehow possible without additional programs using Windows or Ubuntu?

    I want to use multiset to count some custom defined keys. The keys are not comparable numerically, comparing two keys does not mean anything, but their equality can be checked. I see that multiset template wants a Compare to order the multiset. The order is not important to me, only the counts are important. If I omit Compare completely what happens? Does multiset work without any problems for my custom keys?
