This logic is now built into SPRequestModule. The mobile view is pretty damned amazing. Even though the set of pages for mobile access is completely different, SharePoint has an entirely separate set of controls for the mobile pages. These are in the Microsoft.SharePoint.MobileControls namespace which inherit from Microsoft ASP.NET controls in the System.Web.UI.MobileControls namespace.   I have a WordPress blog and recently I have setup a new blog lets call the old blog as blog old and new blog as blog new. What I did is moved the content, photos, pictures and all 250 posts from blog old to blog new. Both the blog name are changed as they are pointing to different domain names! I read helpful things in this site itself at here. I will no longer use blog old, moreover I am concerned about the SEO of the blog new. The blog new is fairly new (just 24 hours and no pages have been indexed in Google). I have done the following stuff: Deleted all the post share at Facebook fan Page, Twitter profile, Google+ page and Finally deleted the fan page/Twitter, Google+ page. Edited the link backs of old blog in the blog new. The question I have is: How do I prevent duplicate content issues? Do I go straightaway and delete all the posts in blog old? Should I start sharing the blog posts in blog new? Should I submit the new site to Webmaster Tools or wait for few weeks? Every comment here is appreciated! What issues can I face relating to SEO?

  I need to redirect CakePHP installation host to my domain. Location of my Cakephp installation: myhosting.com/newsite/ Domain: www.mydomain.com I'm currently using URL Frame to direct www.mydomain.com to myhosting.com/newsite/. Problem When I load www.mydomain.com, I see all links in the site is pointing to the hosting location - example - myhosting.com/newsite/product/1 It should be pointing to www.mydomain.com/product/1 Any simple way to fix this? Probably very simple to solve it, but I can't bend it. Help much appreciated.

• Webcam microphone input in Gnome/pulseaudio

  Just got a "Trust" webcam, which gets recognized on my Ubuntu Lucid. It has a built in microphone - which also gets recognized - however, I cannot really get it to act as the system microphone input? Here are some screenshots of what is shown by gnome-volume-control: The default window shows Trust webcam - which has two profiles: "Analog Mono Input" and "Off" - of course, I have it on "Analog Mono Input": However, on the "Input" tab - there is no matching "device for sound input" - neither a matching connector: Then I installed pavucontrol - but that doesn't show that much more; it tells first that gnome-volume-control reads from "Internal Audio Analog Stereo": Then in "Input devices" tab, there is again nothing resembling the mic input from webcam: Finally, under "Configuration" tab, the "Trust" webcam shows, but even if its profile is on "Analog Mono Input", nothing much happens:   So, does anyone know how I could get this webcam microphone to be recognized as the system input? Basically, is there an stdio equivalent for mouse (and other input) input in c? Or is there a library that is minimal and cross compatible on multiple platforms. Just being able to print mouse coordinates to a terminal window would be enough.

• Linux standard input issue

  Hello everyone, I am new to Linux. And I am using Red Hat Enterprise Version 5. There is a ruby program which use standard input as its input (e.g. the Ruby program process input from standard input). I think standard input should be keyboard, correct? So, I think other kinds of input (non-standard input) should not work (i.e. the ruby program should not be able to read input from such non-standard input), but actually I have tried using pipe works, I am so confused because I think pipe should be some other kinds of input -- other than standard input, why it could work? i.e. put text "123" in abc.txt with pipe, could achieve the same result as using keyboard as input to type "123" for the ruby program. Here is the sample which works and makes me confused, cat abc.txt | ~/test/rubysrc/foo.rb thanks in advance, George

• Folder redirect policy does not apply to one user

  I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2, my station runs Windows 7. while defining folder redirection policy (and others) I find that the redirection does not apply (or appear) in rsop.msc checkout. First thing I've checked is restrictions on the folders where the My Documents folder will be redirected to, I have set full rights for my user on those folders (on the server), and yet I get no actual result. Eventually I decided to add my specific user to the scope under the Folder Redirection policy, and well - still nothing... Would love some clue about what can be wrong.

  I'm a little bit lost with a redirection. I want mysite.com, www.mysite.com and www.mysite.co.uk to redirect to mysite.co.uk. In Apache, I wrote this for mysite.co.uk in order to redirect www to the root domain: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://mysite.co.uk/$1 [L,R=301] And for mysite.com, I wrote this redirect to mysite.co.uk: ServerName www.mysite.com RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://mysite.co.uk/$1 [L,R=301] This way, I can make the redirection work properly from www.mysite.com to mysite.co.uk, but it doesn't work for mysite.com too mysite.co.uk (without the www) at the same time. Could someone tell me how to make all my redirections work in all cases?

So I have a flow like this: Input: aa12345b Clean input somehow: 12345 Test if clean input is valid Use input if valid Now I want to do this in a beautiful OO-fashion (IoC, interfaces, testable, no statics, you know). Any ideas how to organize a class structure for this? Is it good to have a Cleaner and a Parser/Validator class separately, or put them as methods in the data class itself? • mythbuntu 12 - lirc device doesn't appear to even exist

  I'm trying to get a new installation of Mythbuntu working. So far, everything is OK except the remote. The sensor for the remote is on my Hauppauge WinTV HVR 1250. Any suggestions on how to fix or further diagnose this?

• What are the benefits of designing a KeyBinding relay?

  The input system of Quake3 is handled using a Keybinding relay, whereby each keypress is matched against a 'binding' which is then passed to the CLI along with a time stamp of when the keypress (or release) occurred. I just wanted to get an idea from developers what they considered to be the key benefits of designing your input system around this approach? One thing i don't particularly like is the appending of the timestamp to the bound command. This seems like a bit of a hack to bend the CLI into handling the games input? Also I feel that detecting the keypress only to add the command to a stream of text that gets parsed at a later date to be a slightly latent way of responding to input? (or is this unfounded?) The only real benefit i can see is that it allows you to bind 'complex' commands to keypresses; like 'switch weapon;+fire;' for example. Or maybe for journaling purposes? Thanks for any insights!

• Design to distribute work when generating task oriented input for legacy dos application?

  I'm attempting to automate a really old dos application. I've decided the best way to do this is via input redirection. The legacy app (menu driven) has many tasks within tasks with branching logic. In order to easily understand and reuse the input for these tasks, I'd like to break them into bit size pieces. Since I'll need to start a fresh app on each run, repeating a context to consume a bit might be messy. I'd like to create an object model that: allows me to concentrate on the task at hand allows me to reuse common tasks from different start points prevents me from calling a task from the wrong start point To be more explicit, given I have the following task hierarchy: START A A1 A1a A1b A2 A2a B B1 B1a I'd like an object model that lets me generate an input file for task "A1b" buy using building blocks like: START -> do_A, do_A1, do_A1b but prevents me from: START -> do_A1 // because I'm assuming a different call chain from above This will help me write "do_A1b" because I can always assume the same starting context and will simplify writing "do_A1a" because it has THE SAME starting context. What patterns will help me out here? I'm using ruby at the moment so if dynamic language features can help, I'm game.

  I am attempting to make a loop that will go through an array structured like this: $input[n][checked] $input[n][input] The 2nd input acts as a price multiplier, but doesn't have to exist (field can be blank). I don't think a foreach loop is right because I don't think it handles the inputs from the form in the correct dimensional array order to keep the information together. I have inputs on a form that look like this: <input type="checkbox" name="measure[<?php echo $item->id; ?>][checked]" value="<?php echo $item->id; ?>"> <input class="item_mult" type="text" name="measure[<?php echo $item->id; ?>][input]" /> I am attempting to make the loop go through and act as a multiplier on the input relative to its sibling field. If you want some in your book, you check them: </p> <form> <ul> <li> <input type="checkbox" id="prologue" /> <label for="prologue">prologue</label> </li> <li> <input type="checkbox" id="chapter" /> <label for="chapter">chapter</label> </li> <li> <input type="checkbox" id="summary" /> <label for="summary">summary</label> </li> <li> <input type="checkbox" id="etc" /> <label for="etc">etc</label> <label> </li> </ul> </form> <p id="summary"> For each checkbox, I want to assign an ID so that clicking a label checks the corresponding checkbox. The problems occur when other elements in the page already use those IDs. In this case, a CSS declaration was made to add margins to the two paragraphs which IDs are "prologue" and "summary", but because of the IDs given to the checkboxes, the checkboxes named "prologue" and "summary" are also affected by this declaration. The following links simply call a javascript function which writes out the element whose id is <a href="javascript:alert(document.getElementById('prologue'));">prologue</a> and <a href="javascript:alert(document.getElementById('summary'));">summary</a>, respectively. In the first case (prologue), the script writes out [object HTMLParagraphElement], because the first element found with id "prologue" is a paragraph. But in the second case (summary), the script writes out [object HTMLInputElement] because the first element found with id "summary" is an input. In the case of another script, the consequences of this mix up could have been much more dramatic. Now try clicking on the label prologue in the list above. It does not check the checkbox as clicking on any other label. This is because it finds the paragraph whose ID is also "prologue" and tries to check that instead. By the way, if there were another checkbox whose id was "prologue", then clicking on the label would check the one which appears first in the code. </p> <p> An easy fix for this would be to chose other IDs for the checkboxes, but this doesn't apply if these IDs are given dynamically, by a php script for example. Another easy fix for this would be to write labels like this: <pre> &lt;label&gt;&lt;input type="checkbox" /&gt;prologue&lt;/label&gt; </pre> and not need to give an ID to the checkboxes. But this only works if the label and checkbox are next to each other. </p> <p> Well, that's the problem. I guess the ideal solution would be to link a label to a checkboxe using another mechanism (not using ID). I think the perfect way to do this would be to match a label to the input element whose NAME (not ID) is the same as the label's FOR attribute. What do you think? </p> </body> </html>

• No input method choice appear on iBus

  I've installed iBus and ibus-mozc, and an input method engine of Japanese from the repository, and attempted to enable mozc from Preference > "Input Method" tab > "Select Input Method" combo box. However, there is no choice to select, so I couldn't enable mozc. I also tried ibus-anthy, another legacy Japanese input method, but the situation was the same and I couldn't use anthy. Same problem is also occuring in openSUSE 12.1, so I don't think this is distribution-specific problem. In addition, this trouble also happened when I installed ibus-pynin, so this is not Japanese-specific. Any idea to find the cause of this trouble?

• After the upgrading to 13.10, I can't input Japanese and Chinese in Emacs

  I have just upgraded Ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10. It seems iBus have been made big changes.Then I just go to system setting - text entry settings - add "Chinese pinyin" and "Japanese anty" input method. It works well when I input Chinese or Japanese in terminal or .txt file. But when I want to input Chinese and Japanese in Emacs. Even though I have enable ibus-mode in the buffer and change to Chinese pinyin or Japanese anty input method. It just output the English word. Below is the ibus configure in .emacs.By the way, It works well before I upgrade Ubuntu to 13.10 and Emacs to 24.3.1. • Geometry Shader input vertices order

  MSDN specifies (link) that when using triangleadj type of input to the GS, it should provide me with 6 vertices in specific order: 1st vertex of the triangle processed, vertex of an adjacent triangle, 2nd vertex of the triangle processed, another vertex of an adjacent triangle and so on... So if I wanted to create a pass-through shader (i.e. output the same triangle I got on input and nothing else) I should return vertices 0, 2 and 4. Is that correct? Well, apparently it isn't because I did just that and when I ran my app the vertices were flickering (like changing positions/disappearing/showing again or sth like that). But when I instead output vertices 0, 1 and 2 the app rendered the mesh correctly. I could provide some code but it seems like the problem is in the input vertices order, not the code itself. So what order do input vertices to the GS come in?

  I call a jasper report through an independent URL through which I pass one of the input controls needed to run the report. E.g. http:// localhost:8080/jasperserver/flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&standAlone=true&reportUnit=xyz&ParentFolderUri=abcd&j_username=xyz&j_password=xyz&parameter1=value1& . . . As you can see in the URL, I pass the JasperServer username and password, reportUnit name and location and other mandatory parameters, along with the report input parameter, i.e., "parameter1" which can have a value like "value1". I used a mandatory, read-only and visible input control for this input value. Its value would come from the URL, showed in the box but was read-only and hence could not be changed. The report was working absolutely fine upto this point. But the tragedy began when my client rejected this idea. He wanted a completely invisible input control to my report and the input value would be passed through the URL, just like illustrated above. And then my client asked me to refer to this and made me work on cascading input controls. Recently I added a cascading input control to this report. The input control type is a single select query, which utilizes two parameters that I pass to the report through the URL. Now when the Jasper server responds to the URL with the input parameters, all the other static parameters work properly, except for the cascaded one. When I click the select box of the cascaded input, I can see the desired options for a second, and then, it just goes empty while I'm viewing the select list. But when I make the "Parameter1" input control visible, the cascading input control works! And then I turn in invisible, the cascading input control turns into a beast that does things by itself and not listen to his master. I am not able to understand why this is happening. Could anybody please provide me a solution to this?

• Automatically change Sound Input Output device

  I have to plugin my USB Audio adapter ( 4300054 Gigawire USB Audio Adapter) for audio input because has a combo-input-output port for voice. After I do this, I have go open Sound Settings and manually select the USB Audio adapter for Input and Output, if I do not, the system default remains selected. Is there anyway, I can make Ubuntu to automatically select the USB Audio Adapter as the default as soon as I plug-in?

• Windows Randomly Stop Accepting Input from Bluetooth Keyboard

  I've got a laptop running Ubuntu 11.10 with the most recent updates and an Apple Wireless Keyboard that syncs via bluetooth. The Ubuntu box is also a Synergy server, using QuickSynergy to run Synergy. I'm using xmodmap to swap the option and command keys, but nothing else. Throughout the day, windows that are long running will just stop accepting input. For example, I leave gnome-terminal up and running almost 24 hours a day. If it sits for a while, it just stops accepting input. It doesn't matter if I'm ssh'd into another machine or sitting on a local tty session, it just stops accepting input. If I open a new tab or window, those work fine. The 'broken' tabs stay broken. I'm also running Turpial (a Twitter client) which will do that same thing. I tend to use the arrow keys to navigate, and it just stops accepting input. Closing it and reopening it causes it to work fine. I don't seem to have the problem in Chrome, but I tend to open up new tabs when I go somewhere instead of using existing tabs. I've updated all the packages, rebooted, and the only thing that seems to cure it is if I type on the built-in keyboard, the window will start to accept text from the bluetooth keyboard (until it stops again). I don't think the keyboard is disassociating from the laptop because it can happen while I'm using the keyboard, it seems more linked with windows that I sit for a long time. As an example, I'm typing in Chrome with the bluetooth keyboard but I have a terminal window that won't accept input.
