  How do I get Excel to partially auto-complete a word using another that already exist in the same worksheet? Let's say I have the word "Microsoft" in a cell and in the cell below I want to type the word "Microhard". When I start typing Microhard, the word Microsoft appears shaded in black. How can I select the "Micro" part alone from Microsoft and continue to fill out the rest with "hard" without it trying to fill out as Microsoft?

  Laptop: HP Compaq 6710b I can boot from usb just fine with the following usb flash drives: Cruzer micro 4GB HP 4GB The flash drive that will not boot: Flash Voyager 8GB To knock out variables I did the following: Using Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool I performed a low level format Full erase with Flash Memory Tookit In windows 7 I formated the drive to fat32 Used USB-Boot-Tester to write to the drive Also used uNetbooting with various distros to see if that would make a difference My guesses on what could be preventing the drive from booting: The laptop does not support booting to usb flash drives larger than 4GB The drive is defective in some way

• Duplication of Architecture State means physically extra?

  Hyper-Threading Technology makes a single physical processor appear as two logical processors; the physical execution resources are shared and the architecture state is duplicated for the two logical processors. So, this means that there are two sets of basic registers such as Next Instruction Pointer, processor registers like AX, BX, CX etc physically embedded in the micro-processor chip, OR they(arch. state) are made to look two sets by some low level duplication by software/OS.

I don't mind creating the backups on the fly, with the snapshot mechanism, but I would like an easy wrapper to manage it for me. What is the simplest way to set this up? How much would this cost me, for a micro instance?

• Amazon EC2 - how to determine how busy each CPU is

  I have an Amazon EC2 micro instance. I believe that this is 1 core (or 2 for periodic bursts) with 4 CPU's. I'm getting confused with the terminology (ECU vs CPU vs Core) but really I would like to see how busy each CPU is. When I look at top it seems to be showing me just the cores. I want to see if my process is be spread out across the available processors and how busy each is, what is the appropriate command to do this?

  I have to run this command to initialize gitosis: sudo -H -u git gitosis-init < /home/ec2-user/id_rsa.pub But that asks me for a password for ec2-user: $ sudo -H -u git gitosis-init < id_rsa.pub [sudo] password for ec2-user: I do not have a password as i use the default .pem key file to login. I know i can probably login as the git user and do this, but is there any other way? Update: Using Linux AMI 12.09 (micro-instance), in region us-east-1 (N. Virginia)

With that said, there is no need to wait for the SDK.  You can download the tooling now and get started with Apps and Faces immediately.  The only thing that you will not be able to work with is the API; but for example, watch faces, you can start building the basic face rendering with the Bitmap graphics drawing in the .NET Micro Framework.   Does it look good? Before we dig into any more of the gory details, here are a few photos of the current available prototype models.   The watch on the tiny QI Charter   If you wander too far away from your phone, your watch will let you know with a vibration and a message, all but one button will dismiss the message.   An app showing the premium weather data!   Nice stitching on the straps, leather and silicon will be available, along with a few lengths to choose from (short, regular, long lengths). Notre objectif va être de démystifier RMI en comprenant ses méchanismes. Nous allons analyser comment une invocation à distance est possible en allant jusqu'a implémenter notre propre version allégée de RMI.   Twitter the micro blogging site crossed the ten billions milestone on 4th of this month as per the report by GigaTweet (Site which tracks the number of tweets posted on twitter) The person who sent the 10 billionth tweet is still unknown as his profile is protected. But the 9,999,999,999th tweet was sent by one Rafaela Marques from Brazil. AS you can see GigaTweet expects just another 196 days to reach the 20 billionth marks if tweet continues with the current pace. Some of the interesting statics about rate in which people tweeted every year 2007 – 5000 tweets per day 2008 – 300,000 tweets per day 2009 – 2.5 million per day It reached an average of 35 million tweets per day by end  2009.   I have a Dell Inspiron 3521 with hybrid ATI/Intel graphics. (AMD Radeon 7670M / Intel HD 4000) using Ubuntu 14.04 with open source drivers for graphics. (xserver-xorg-video-ati) I read that Ubuntu 14.04 with the linux kernel version 3.13 supports auto switching between graphics and dynamic power management. Is it correct? Anyway, if it is true, I dont think that it is working in my system , because fan runs constantly and battery backup is less than 2 hours. lspci | grep -i vga 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
