  • CSS Problem, fixed contentarea with left and right sidebar?

    Hey guys, i really need your help with a CSS-Layout. I tried a few time, however i've no chance (and actually no idea how) to solve it. Moreover I don't even know if it's possible the way I want it! The #mainContent should always be centered horizontally in the browserwindow. It should be 1024px in width and a 100% of the windowheight. Now the difficult part. I need two divs, one on the left side, one on the right side of the #mainContent. Both should be 100% in height, but should ALWAYS have the rest of the browserwindow. If the browserwindow has only 1024px in width #navLeft and #navRight are invisible. Is that even possible, if so, HOW? thank you

  • Zend_Dojo_Form not rendering in layout

    Hi, I have a quick question about adding Zend_Dojo_Form into Zend_layouts. I have a Zend_Dojo_Form that I want to display in the layout that is used for a particular controller. I can add the form to the layout without any issue however the dojo elements fail to render, as they would do if I added the form to a standard view. Is there any reason why this would be the case? Do I need to do something to the layout so that it will enable the components for this embedded form in the layout. Any other dojo enabled forms that are added in the view using this layout work fine. My form is created in the usual way: class QuickAddJobForm extends Zend_Dojo_Form{ public function init(){ $this->setName('quickaddjobfrm') ->setMethod('post') ->setAction('/addjob/start/); /*We now create the elements*/ $jobTitle = new Zend_Dojo_Form_Element_TextBox('jobtitle', array( 'trim' => true ) ); $jobTitle->setAttrib('style', 'width:200px;') ->addFilter('StripTags') ->removeDecorator('DtDdWrapper') ->removeDecorator('HtmlTag') ->removeDecorator('Label'); .... $this->addElements(array($jobTitle, ....)); In the controller I declare the layout and the form in the init function: public function init(){ $this->_helper->layout->setLayout('add-layout'); $form = new QuickAddJobForm(); $form->setDecorators(array(array('ViewScript', array('viewScript' => 'quickAddJobFormDecorator.phtml')))); $this->_helper->layout()->quickaddjob = $form; In my layout Where I want the form I have: echo $this->layout()->quickaddjob; Why would adding this form in the layout fail to render/add the Dojo elements?     I have two domains hi.org and bye.net and one dynamic IP address and two servers. I want to attach one domain bye.net to server1 and hi.org to server2. I'm using Apache wamp 2.0i. I have two servers behind one router with a dynamic IP address #httpd.conf file additions <IfModule mod_proxy.c> ProxyRequests Off <Proxy *> Order deny,allow Allow from all </Proxy> </IfModule> #vhost file additions NameVirtualHost *:80 #default <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "c:/wamp/www/fallback" </VirtualHost> # Server 1 <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "c:/wamp/www" ServerName h**p://bye.net ServerAlias bye.net </VirtualHost> # Server 2 <VirtualHost *:80> ProxyPreserveHost On ProxyPass / h**p://192.168.1.119/ DocumentRoot "g:/wamp/www" ServerName h**p://hi.org ServerAlias hi.org </VirtualHost> After doing all this I fallback to server1 only I don't get the page hi.org I only get the page bye.net, I don't even get the default fallback page which gets executed when a person enters IP address but not the domain name. I use Windows 7 (server 2) and Windows XP (server 1) UPDATE: I needed to remove DocumentRoot "g:/wamp/www" line :D it was there by mistake! things are working fine now. But one thing: the URL gets replaced by the local ip address any way to not make that happen?

  • Installing and running two postgresql versions on different ports (or two instances of same server)

    I have postgresql 9.1 installed on my machine (Ubuntu). I need another postgresql server that would run next to the old one. Exact version does not matter, but I'm thinking of using 9.2 version. How could I properly install and run another postgresql version without screwing old one (like upgrading). So those versions would run independently on different ports. Old one on 5432 and new one on 5433 for example. The reason I need this is for two OpenERP versions databases. If I run two OpenERP servers (with different versions) on single postgresql port, it crashes because new OpenERP version detects old versions database and tries to run it, but it crashes because it uses another schemes. P.S or maybe I could just run same postgresql server on two ports? Update So far I tried this: /usr/lib/postgresql/9.1/bin/pg_ctl initdb -D main2 It created new cluster. I changed port to 5433 in new clusters directory postgresql.conf file. Then ran this: /usr/lib/postgresql/9.1/bin/pg_ctl -D main2 -l logfile start I got response server starting. But when I tried to enter new cluster's template database with: psql template1 -p 5433 I got this error: psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5433"? Also now when I try to stop server with: /usr/lib/postgresql/9.1/bin/pg_ctl -D main2 -l logfile start I get this error: pg_ctl: PID file "main2/postmaster.pid" does not exist Is server running? So I don't understand if server is running and what I'm missing here? Update Found what was wrong. Stupid me. I didn't notice that when I changed port in .conf file, that line was commented already. So actually I didn't change anything first time, but thought I did and it used default 5432 port.

  • I tried to install Ubuntu (with Unity), but I couldn't select the keyboard layout on install. How can I do it?

    I can select language, (I wanted English), but I wanted to select "international (with dead tilde)" and I cannot find an option to do it unlike Xubuntu or Lubuntu. Usually, in previous editions, before unity, there were two columns ... one for selecting language and other to select the kind of layout and there was a box so you can test the keyboard. Now, there is only one column and I need the dead tilde. How can I do it? Why Ubuntu is hiding these options? Thanks

    Hi, I am supporting all orientation for the iPad app. I am adjusting the my view with autoresizingMask for orienttaion changes (main view and tabbar) . But the subviews in the main view are flowing out of the mainview in landscape mode. so i forced a "setNeedsLayout for the mainview, making subviews in mainview to fit into the mainview boundary. But the issues is that subviews added in the lower part fo mainview are not responding to touches in landscape mode, but working fine with portrait mode. Any F1 ?

The problem is the height vertical alignment for various screen sizes....What would be the most common sleek looking solution to this issue?   • CSS to Replace Table Layout for Forms

    I've looked at other questions and am unable to find the solution to this. Consider this image: I want to wrap divs and stack them vertically. The GREEN div would be a wrapper on a line. The BLUE div would contain an html label and maybe icon for a tooltip. The ORANGE div would contain some sort of entry (input, select, textarea). Several of these would be stacked vertically to make up a form. I am doing this now, but I have to specify a height for the container div and that really needs to change depending on the content - considering any entry could land there. Images and other stuff could land here, as well. I have a width set on the BLUE div and the ORANGE is float:left. How can I get rid of the height on divs and let that be determined by content? Is there a better way? Changing all to something else would be difficult and would prefer a way to style all elements or something.     I am adding images to a JPanel but the images are getting cut off. I was originally trying BorderLayout but that only worked for one image and adding others added image cut-off. So I switched to other layouts and the best and closest I could get was BoxLayout however that adds a very large cut-off which is not acceptable either.     I used myPanel.setLayout(new BoxLayout(myPanel, BoxLayout.Y_AXIS)); to order panels vertically (one under another one). But myPanel defined in the shown way change the included panel. In more details, it tries to set the same hight and width for the included panels. Can it be changed? Can BoxLayout adopt size of the included elements?
