  I have the following processor.jsp file: <% response.sendRedirect("http://buzz.example.com"); %> I want to change it so that it inspects the HTTP request URL for the presence of the word "fizz" and, if it exists, redirect the user to http://fizz.example.org instead.   I have a PHP array with some predefined values: $aArray = array( 0 => 'value0', 1 => 'value1' ); I need to create a function where the string input will always return the same, valid, array key so that when I call: GiveMeAKey('http://www.google.com'); // May return 0 or 1 I receive always the same key (I don't care which one) from the array. Obvisously I can't store the relationship in a database and the string passed to the GiveMeAKey method can be any URL. I wonder if there is a way of doing that ?

  Hello everyone. I'm trying to redirect an easy to remember url to a php file but I'm having some trouble with the regex. Here's what I have at the moment: RewriteRule ^tcb/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,})/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,})/([a-zA-Z0-9]{1,}) /tcb/lerbd.php?autocarro=$1&tipo=$2&dsd=$3 It is working but only if I supply all 3 arguments. I want the last two arguments to be optional so it either works with only the first or all three. I'm hoping you can help me with this. Thank you very much.

• Google Chrome window.open height includes URL bar

  When we open a window using: window.open("/calendar",'calendar','width=950,height=576,titlebar=no,statusbar=no,menubar=no,resizable=no,scrollbars=no'); Firefox 3 and IE 7 open it to have a content area height of 576 plus the browser items (URL bar, status bar, etc). Chrome however opens it to have a total height of 576 meaning a scrollbar appears to the right of the content (and then the bottom because the width is now reduced). How can I get around this? It's for a heavy layout part of a web app so it's not just a matter of "let the user scroll", the client doesn't want that. Has anyone come across this? I don't mind browser sniffing and opening the window bigger, but I know that's yucky these days.

• URL getRequestParameterMap not working

  I'm using IceFaces 1.8.2 and trying to get a parameter from the URL using: ((HttpServletRequest) FacesContext.getCurrentInstance() .getExternalContext().getRequest()).getParameter(name); This works fine on the inital request. However, when I do a partialSubmit on a component, it stops working. I'm assuming that its to do with how requests are processed when partial submits are done. Is there a workaround? At the moment, I'm having to ((HttpServletRequest) FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext() .getRequest()).getQueryString(); and manually pass the query string. Thanks.

  Hello I build a script that does image uploading and resizing and it all works well, but how can I get the URL from image afterwards? I don't want my Image Source in HTML be like "../img/cat/1.png/" I want it to be like "http://MyIP/img/cat/1.png" I understand that I can just make a variable like $myHost = "http://blabla.com"; and add strip the ".." at the beginning but then it's not so good if I want to use it on other site because I need to replace this all the time. Maybe there is any other way?

  I'm building a site with a hashchange on wordpress, all working good. It just loads a single.php template file into a div. The problem is that i can still access my single url (http://www.mydomain.com/my-single-post). Since its not having any head and style tags with it, i don't want people to go over there. Also google has picked up the direct links, because I use the href attribute to load content into the div. So my question is: If someone clicks a link lets say in a forum, http://www.mydomain.com/my-single-post , is it possible to redirect him instantly to http://www.mydomain.com/#my-single-post ? I have researched that it has something to do with .htaccess, but I also have Pages, where i don't want the hash infront of the page-name.

I'm writing an webinterface in codeigniter to send commands to a virtual server. these commands are passed through the browser in an url. example : http://server.com/TgtSendIRCommand?id=UM-02&code=KEY_UP this server then takes action and the web interface refreshes the screenshot. i just want to have a bunch of links in html that send this command to the browser. But if i click the links, the user has to stay on the same page. So the command is sended but there is no other interaction. i am using codeigniter. Any suggestions ?

  Hi all, I'm trying to use url_for(:back) to create a redirect leading back to a previous page upon a user's logging in. I've had it working successfully for when the user just goes to the login page on his or her own. However, when the user is redirected to the login page due to accessing a page requiring that the user be authenticated, the redirect sends the user back to the page before the one s/he had tried to access with insufficient permissions. I'm trying to modify my login controller action to deal with the redirect properly. My plan is to have a query string parameter "redirect" that is used when a forced redirect occurs. In the controller, if that parameter exists that URL is used; otherwise, url_for(:back) is used, or if that doesn't work (due to lack of HTTP_REFERER), then the user is redirected to the site's home page.   I wrote a custom gradle plugin using groovy to do basic svn tasks like, Checkout, Clean, Tag etc. The groovy class calls the svn command line client to do these operations, It works fine when i run it on my windows system but the same plugin gives the following error when i run it on a linux system (Centos). svn: E170000: Unrecognized URL scheme for '%22https://source.mycompany.net/svn/MyProject/trunk%22' Am able to make the same calls to the command line client through the command prompt or shell script without any issues.   Hi, I have a website running at www.domain.com. The client now wants the website to appear to be running under www.otherdomain.com/whatson/brand/ Since the website is umbraco it won't run under a subfolder. I wanted to use ISAPI rewrite to proxy requests to www.domain.com using the following rule in a .htaccess at www.otherdomain.com/whatson/brand/ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [P,L] However, when I apply this I get an ugly 500 Internal Server Error. There's nothing in the event log. It's worth noting that www.domain.com and www.otherdomain.com are on the same box. • Apps crashing with EXC_BAD_ACCESS when changing to a custom keyboard layout

  I have a custom layout installed (svdvorak_mac6.keylayout). After a reboot another keyboard layout was selected, so I selected my usual one instead. This lead to a lot of apps suddenly starting to crash (Chrome, Skype, Adium etc). I can change to any other built in layout for OS X, but as soon as I choose one custom installed one (either form ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts/ or from /Library/Keyboard Layouts/) the apps crash. The only thing I can remember that I did before the reboot was to install Google's video chat plugin for the browser. I've managed to get the filter running on a second website that I setup using one the IIS admin scripts. When I goto iirfStatus I get this: The problem is the .ini path for the site is pointing to c:\windows\system32\Irif.ini rather than the site root. If I try creating an IIS application under IIS-Website Properties-Home Directory then iirfStatus stops working entirely. Any ideas how I can set the ini path correctly, or will I only be able to get away with this on a proper server edition of IIS?

However, the action is called every time the account is modified, and also gets called when the account is deleted. The actions it performs should only be done when the account is first created. How can my custom command know which action is being performed? Is there an environment variable which determines if the action is creation, alteration, or deletion?

  I am trying to use MySQL federated tables. The problem is that the documentation specified at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/federated-use.html says that a federated table should be created using the following format for the CONNECTION parameter: scheme://user_name[:password]@host_name[:port_num]/db_name/tbl_name E.G. CONNECTION='mysql://username:password@hostname:port/database/tablename' CONNECTION='mysql://username@hostname/database/tablename' CONNECTION='mysql://username:password@hostname/database/tablename' The problem is that the table I am trying to connect to has non-standard characters in it and I cannot find the proper way to scape them in the connections tring. For example, a table named `Table (one)` . Which has the space and the parenthesis, requiring backticks surrounding it inside any SQL code. Anyone know the proper way to do this?

  I need to 301 redirect all requests coming in for requests to http//server.com to be redirected to http//newserver.com unless the request is for an arbitary list of directories we are maintaining on the legacy server (eg server.com/foo or server.com/bar) I'm having a hard time working out how best to set this up and the regexs. EG, I need: http//server.com/page1 redirect to http//newserver.com/page1 http//server.com/dir1/page2 redirect to http//newserver.com/dir1/page2 http//server.com/foo to load as normal http//server.com/bar/baz.html to load as normal ... because 'foo' and 'bar' are in my list of legacy dirs. I'm wondering if the way to do this is to some how catch the matches in my list and then redirect anything else as a wildcard over to the new server -- but I can't make it work. Can anyone help me with some regex and rewrites for those please?   I'm attempting to setup redirection for a couple of root domains. [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$ RewriteRule ^/?(.*) http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,R,NE] </VirtualHost> What this does is redirect the root domain of example.com or example2.com or any host other than www to www.example(2).com The part I'm having a problem with is the RewriteRule itself. the $1 is supposed to match the pattern of the RewriteRule and add it in the substitution. For example: "http://example.com/test.html" should rewrite to "http://www.example.com/test.html" It works in all modern browsers like it's supposed to except for IE8 or IE9 (I didn't test other IE versions). In IE, this works: "http://example.com" to "http://www.example.com" In IE, this does not work: "http://example.com/test.html" to "http://www.example.com/test.html" Does anyone have an explanation for this behavior? I hope I've explained it well enough. Thank you.
