• Utilities to view web page as text only?

  Hi everyone, I'd like to view web pages as text only on occasion, without images or fancy css backgrounds appearing. Are there any Mozilla or IE plugins that allow this? I've used Readability, and it's not bad but it still downloads pictures. Just wondering what's out there. Thanks!

  system info: i have installed XAMPP on my machine having Window XP OS . also installed Apache2.2, now, i have created two folders in C:\xampp\htdocs they are php and perl . these folder contains programs in their respective languages (ie index.php and index.pl respectively) when i type in browser : http: //localhost:88/php/ the program in index.php gets executed and o/p is displayed in browser but , when i type: http://localhost:88/perl/ browser displays a blank page PROBLEM : how to run .pl file in above scenario ?

  I installed Proxifier an application that makes applications (that might not use the IE proxy settings) use a specific proxy, but right after installing it Windows Live Messenger stopped working.   I need some way to map a UFS Solaris drive (ie, assign a drive letter to it) while it is in a Windows XP box. I've found utilities that will let me transfer files from a Solaris disk to a NTFS disk on the Windows box, but nothing that will let me map/share that Solaris disk.   I'm using google chrome beta version, recently i found all my saved authentications get lost when closing the window and reopen. It is not saving any passwords or "stay signed in" or "remember me in this computer". This applies for gmail, facebook, yahoo, etc. the issue is only with chrome, while firefox and IE are still ok.
