    I have to update a field with a value which is returned by a join of 3 tables. Example: select im.itemid ,im.sku as iSku ,gm.SKU as GSKU ,mm.ManufacturerId as ManuId ,mm.ManufacturerName ,im.mf_item_number ,mm.ManufacturerID from item_master im, group_master gm, Manufacturer_Master mm where im.mf_item_number like 'STA%' and im.sku=gm.sku and gm.ManufacturerID = mm.ManufacturerID and gm.manufacturerID=34 I want to update the mf_item_number field values of table master with some other value which is joined in the above condition. How to frame the SQL ?

    Hi, Is there a way to return HTML from a method which gets called from the JMX HTTP page. I have a huge set of data and want to display the data with some formatting. The following code does not work: @ManagedOperation(description = "return html") @ManagedOperationParameters({@ManagedOperationParameter(name = "someVal", description = "text")}) public List returnAsHtml(String someVal) { return ""+someValblah"; } Looks like JMX escapes the returned script before throwing it to the browser.

    HI, I have an input field in which I want to trim any leading/trailing whitespaces. We are using JSF and binding the input field to a backing bean in the jsp using: <h:inputText id="inputSN" value="#{regBean.inputSN}" maxlength="10"/> My question is that besides validation can this be done in the jsp? I know we can also do this using the trim() java function in the Handler, but just wondering if there is a more elegant way to achieve this in JSF. Thanks.

    0I am using jQuery to calculate a running total on multiple textboxes. Just found an awesome response on how to get that working a few days ago, but now I am running into another problem. When using one selector, the total for GetTotal is calculated perfectly. However, when I include the second selector, the totals begin to conflict with one another, and no longer calculate properly. I have been searching for a solution to this for some time now, does anyone have any ideas?     I'm trying to make a programme with structs and files.The following is just a part of my code(it;s not all). What i'm trying to do is: ask the user to write his command. eg. delete John eg. enter John James 5000 ipad purchase. The problem is that I want to split the command in order to save its 'args' for a struct element. That's why i used strtok.     I don't know the real name of that application but what i want to do is so simple, i have an oracle database with more than 50 tables. I want to get their names also their field names, so i thought that it would be nice to use a designer or something like mssql has. Then i can get the field names and table names easily. They are always in the 5th field, which I can grab, but they appear at different places within a comma-separated list in the 5th field. Can somebody give me a regex to grab just the email address (delimeted by commas) from a line in this file?
