  • libssh2 port forward

    - by Evan D
In extension of this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1580750/example-code-of-libssh2-being-used-for-port-forwarding I was wondering if there's an "easier" way to connect to the locally binded addr:port. From the link: you bind a remote port and list it locally, you accept incoming data from the port and send it to another socket (namely the local addr:port), after which I'd like to connect to the local addr:port. Is there a way to skip the "send it to another" step and direct the data directly for my "connect to localhost" ? There are two parts to why I want this, first, it seems excessive, and in the spirit of piping, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible. Second, since I'm trying to connect to a localhost'ed bound port forward, all code is in the same thread, making a continiously getting data-sending data, and polling the sending data from another socket, a bit tricky. Thanks in advance, Evan

  • Is it possible to sendkeys / Post Message directly to a HtmlElement rather than to a C# webbrowser

    - by Jakub
I would like to send keys to a c# web browser control element directly, not just the window with the correct focus. Right now I am able to send a key using PostMessage and documentHandle and focus like this i.e. Pseudo Code HtmlElement el = getelement(); el.Focus(); IntPtr docptr = browser.Handle; PostMessage(docptr,WM_KEYDOWN,1,0); .... KEYCHAR, KEYUP.. I was wondering if anyone knows of any way to be able to do this in a background, so that the focus is not on the element. Basically is there a way to get a IntPtr to the HtmlElement itself, than use that instead in the PostMessage or SendKeys API rather than the browser handle/ptr.

  • Load balancing with multiple gateways

    - by ttouch
I have to different ISPs, each on each own network. The main connects via ethernet and the secondary via wifi. The two networks have no relation at all. I just connect to them simultaneously. The reason I want to load balance between them is to achieve higher Internet speeds. Note: I have no advanced network hardware. Just my pc and the two routers that I have no access... main network: if: eth0 gw: 192.168.178.1 my ip: 192.168.178.95 speed: 400 kbit/s secondary network: if: wlan0 gw: 192.168.1.1 my ip: 192.168.1.95 speed: 300 kbit/s A diagram to explain the situation: http://i.imgur.com/NZdsv.jpg I'm on Arch Linux x64. • Handling Errors from HttpWebRequest.GetResponse

    - by Jason
Hey experts - I'm having a ridiculous time trying to get an SMS API working (ZeepMobile, if you're interested) with .NET... I've been around .NET for a few years, but with all this social networking and API stuff, I need to get into the HttpWebRequest a bit. I'm new at it, but not completely new; I was able to hook up my site to Twitter without too much fuss (ie, I was able to modify someone's code to work for me). Anyways, the way their API works is to send an SMS message, you send them a POST and they respond back to you. I can send it just fine, but every time I do, rather than echo back something helpful to figure out what the error is, I get the Yellow Error Page Of Death (YEPOD) saying something to the effect of "The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request." This occurs on my line: '...creation of httpwebrequest here...' Dim myWebResponse As WebResponse myWebResponse = request.GetResponse() '<--- error line Is there any way to simply receive the error from the server rather than have the webserver throw an exception and give me the YEPOD? Or better yet, can anyone post a working example of their Zeep code? :) Thanks! EDIT: Here's my whole code block: Public Shared Function SendTextMessage(ByVal username As String, _ ByVal txt As String) As String Dim content As String = "user_id=" + _ username + "&body=" + Current.Server.UrlEncode(txt) Dim httpDate As String = DateTime.Now.ToString("r") Dim canonicalString As String = API_KEY & httpDate & content Dim encoding As New System.Text.UTF8Encoding Dim hmacSha As New HMACSHA1(encoding.GetBytes(SECRET_ACCESS_KEY)) Dim hash() As Byte = hmacSha.ComputeHash(encoding.GetBytes(canonicalString)) Dim b64 As String = Convert.ToBase64String(hash) 'connect with zeep' Dim request As HttpWebRequest = CType(WebRequest.Create(_ "https://api.zeepmobile.com/messaging/2008-07-14/send_message"), HttpWebRequest) request.Method = "POST" request.ServicePoint.Expect100Continue = False ' set the authorization levels' request.Headers.Add("Authorization", "Zeep " & API_KEY & ":" & b64) request.ContentType = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" request.ContentLength = content.Length ' set up and write to stream' Dim reqStream As New StreamWriter(request.GetRequestStream()) reqStream.Write(content) reqStream.Close() Dim msg As String = "" msg = reqStream.ToString Dim myWebResponse As WebResponse Dim myResponseStream As Stream Dim myStreamReader As StreamReader myWebResponse = request.GetResponse() myResponseStream = myWebResponse.GetResponseStream() myStreamReader = New StreamReader(myResponseStream) msg = myStreamReader.ReadToEnd() myStreamReader.Close() myResponseStream.Close() ' Close the WebResponse' myWebResponse.Close() Return msg End Function

  • Python (Twisted) - reading from fifo and sending read data to multiple protocols

    - by SpankMe
Hi, Im trying to write some kind of multi protocol bot (jabber/irc) that would read messages from fifo file (one liners mostly) and then send them to irc channel and jabber contacts. So far, I managed to create two factories to connect to jabber and irc, and they seem to be working. However, I've problem with reading the fifo file - I have no idea how to read it in a loop (open file, read line, close file, jump to open file and so on) outside of reactor loop to get the data I need to send, and then get that data to reactor loop for sending in both protocols. I've been looking for information on how to do it in best way, but Im totally lost in the dark. Any suggestion/help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • Unity IOC, AOP & Interface Interception

    - by krisg
I've been playing around with Unity to do some AOP stuff, setting up via IOC like: ioc.RegisterType<ICustomerService, CustomerService>() .Configure<Interception>().SetInterceptorFor<ICustomerService>(new InterfaceInterceptor()); ... and then having an ICallHandler on the ICustomerService interface's methods. For teh time being i want to just get the method called, the class it's in, and the namespace for that class. So... inside the... public IMethodReturn Invoke(IMethodInvocation input, GetNextHandlerDelegate getNext) ...method of the ICallHandler, i can access the method name via input.MethodBase.Name... if i use input.MethodBase.DeclaringType.Name i get the interface ICustomerService... BUT... how would i go about getting the implementing class "CustomerService" rather than the interface? I've been told to use input.Target.. but that just returns "DynamicModule.ns.Wrapped_ICustomerService_4f2242e5e00640ab84e4bc9e05ba0a13" Any help on this folks?

  • Import AppleScript methods in another AppleScript?

    - by DASKAjA
Is there a way to use defined AppleScript methods in other AppleScripts which reference the original AppleScript with something similar to import (f.e. in PHP)? I wrote a methode to set Skype status and mood-text: on setSkypeStatus(status, mood_text) tell application "System Events" set skypeRunning to count (every process whose name is "Skype") if skypeRunning > 0 then --only set status if skype is running tell application "Skype" set myStatus to "SET USERSTATUS " & status set myMood to "SET PROFILE MOOD_TEXT " & mood_text send command myStatus script name "AppleScript" send command myMood script name "AppleScript" return skypeRunning end tell else return skypeRunning end if end tell end setSkypeStatus now I'm searching for something like import skype_methods.scpt. Is there such a functionality. I can't something related with Google.

  • SignalR cross domain does not work after updating to 0.5.1

    - by jlp
My site uses SignalR to communicate cross-domain. It worked great but I updated SignalR from 0.5.0 to 0.5.1 and my site broke. Here's my script: function start() { $.connection.hub.url = "http://otherdomain.com/signalr"; $.connection.hub.start().done(function () { $.connection.myHub.join(); }); } When script calls join - I see in Firebug that it is a POST (I believe it shoold be GET (jsonp) since it is cross domain) with no response. EDIT: I tried $.connection.hub.start({jsonp: true}). Now I have can call server from client but calls from server don't execute on client. I noticed that there are following calls: negotiate and send whereas locally (the same domain) there are: negotiate, connect, send.

  • are posix pipes lightweight?

    - by Nils Pipenbrinck
In a linux application I'm using pipes to pass information between threads. The idea behind using pipes is that I can wait for multiple pipes at once using poll(2). That works well in practice, and my threads are sleeping most of the time and only wake up if there is something to do for them. On the user-space the pipes look just like two file-handles. Now I wonder wonder how much resources such a pipes use on the OS side. Btw: In my application I only send single bytes every now and then. Think about my pipes as simple message queues that allow me to wake-up receiving threads, tell them to send some status-data or to terminate.

  • Email Validation from WTForm using Flask

    - by lost9123193
I'm following a Flask tutorial from http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/intro-to-flask-adding-a-contact-page--net-28982 and am currently stuck on the validation step: The old version had the following: from flask.ext.wtf import Form, TextField, TextAreaField, SubmitField, validators, ValidationError class ContactForm(Form): name = TextField("Name", [validators.Required("Please enter your name.")]) email = TextField("Email", [validators.Required("Please enter your email address."), validators.Email("Please enter your email address.")]) submit = SubmitField("Send") Reading the comments I updated it to this: (replaced validators.Required with InputRequired) (same fields) class ContactForm(Form): name = TextField("Name", validators=[InputRequired('Please enter your name.')]) email = EmailField("Email", validators=[InputRequired("Please enter your email address.")]), validators.Email("Please enter your email address.")]) submit = SubmitField("Send") My only issue is I don't know what to do with the validators.Email. The error message I get is: NameError: name 'validators' is not defined I've looked over the documentation, perhaps I didn't delve deep enough but I can't seem to find an example for email validation.

  • NSMutableURLRequest not obeying my timeoutInterval

    - by kubi
I'm POST'ing a small image, so i'd like the timeout interval to be short. If the image doesn't send in a few seconds, it's probably never going to send. For some unknown reason my NSURLConnection is never failing, no matter how short I set the timeoutInterval. // Create the URL request NSMutableURLRequest *request = [[NSMutableURLRequest alloc] initWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.tumblr.com/api/write"] cachePolicy:NSURLRequestUseProtocolCachePolicy timeoutInterval:0.00000001]; /* Populate the request, this part works fine */ [NSURLConnection connectionWithRequest:request delegate:self]; I have a breakpoint set on - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didFailWithError:(NSError *)error but it's never being triggered. My images continue to be posted just fine, they're showing up on Tumblr despite the tiny timeoutInterval.

  • Python 2.7 - Help using an API (HL7)

    - by atomicluis
I am new to programming and Python. I have a very basic python script that connects to server and send a text message: #!/usr/bin/python import socket s = socket.socket() host = '127.0.0.1' port = 4106 s.connect((host, port)) message = 'test1' s.send(message) print s.recv(1024) s.close Everything is fine, except that this message is an HL7 message and needs to wrapped in MLLP I found this API that I think can do this for me (http://python-hl7.readthedocs.org/en/latest/api.html#mllp-network-client) So I modified my program to the following, but I keep getting the error message: NameError: name 'MLLPClient' is not defined #!/usr/bin/python import socket import hl7 host = '127.0.0.1' port = 4106 with MLLPClient(host, port) as client: client.send_message('test1') print s.recv(1024) s.close Thanks in advanced for all the help

  • Asp.Net Mvc JQuery ajax input parameters are null

All the time the title, message and tagIds are null, so there is something wrong with the encoding, I just don't know what. Note: The jQuery.toJSON is this plugin

  • Can you help me get my head around openssl public key encryption with rsa.h in c++?

    - by Ben
Hi there, I am trying to get my head around public key encryption using the openssl implementation of rsa in C++. Can you help? So far these are my thoughts (please do correct if necessary) Alice is connected to Bob over a network Alice and Bob want secure communications Alice generates a public / private key pair and sends public key to Bob Bob receives public key and encrypts a randomly generated symmetric cypher key (e.g. blowfish) with the public key and sends the result to Alice Alice decrypts the ciphertext with the originally generated private key and obtains the symmetric blowfish key Alice and Bob now both have knowledge of symmetric blowfish key and can establish a secure communication channel Now, I have looked at the openssl/rsa.h rsa implementation (since I already have practical experience with openssl/blowfish.h), and I see these two functions: int RSA_public_encrypt(int flen, unsigned char *from, unsigned char *to, RSA *rsa, int padding); int RSA_private_decrypt(int flen, unsigned char *from, unsigned char *to, RSA *rsa, int padding); If Alice is to generate *rsa, how does this yield the rsa key pair? Is there something like rsa_public and rsa_private which are derived from rsa? Does *rsa contain both public and private key and the above function automatically strips out the necessary key depending on whether it requires the public or private part? Should two unique *rsa pointers be generated so that actually, we have the following: int RSA_public_encrypt(int flen, unsigned char *from, unsigned char *to, RSA *rsa_public, int padding); int RSA_private_decrypt(int flen, unsigned char *from, unsigned char *to, RSA *rsa_private, int padding); Secondly, in what format should the *rsa public key be sent to Bob? Must it be reinterpreted in to a character array and then sent the standard way? I've heard something about certificates -- are they anything to do with it? • Sending binary data with Indy through TCP\IP, how?

    - by Wodzu
Hello. How to send a binary data with Indy components? Which of them is most suitable for this task? I've tried to use TIdTcpClient but it allows only to send strings. I've found one reponce for that problem here but I don't get it. It says about method Write(TIdBytes), but the answer is not clear for me. Does he meant Write to some instance of TIdBytes, and how to connect that instance with TIdTcpClient? Thanks for any help.

    - by RexOnRoids
    When a user presses the "SEND"(return) button I want the keyboard to retract and do other stuff like send a message. But it only works SOMETIMES... Why does this code only work SOMETIMES? I need it to work all the time obviously, but it doesn't. - (void)textViewDidChange:(UITextView *)inTextView { NSString *text = myTextView.text; if ([text length] > 0 && [text characterAtIndex:[text length] -1] == '\n') { myTextView.text = [text substringToIndex:[text length] -1]; [myTextView resignFirstResponder]; [self sendMessage]; } }

  • jsonp is not firing beforeSend?

    - by user283357
Hi All, I am working on a project to call a webservice from different domain using $.ajax with dataType set to jsonp. $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: testService.asmx, async: true, contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "jsonp", beforeSend: function (XMLHttpRequest) { alert('Before Send'); //Nothing happnes }, success: function (response) { alert('Success'); //this was fired }, complete: function (XMLHttpRequest, textStatus) { alert('After Send'); //this was fired } }); The problem is I have a ...loading animation which I want to display while the web service request is being processed. I tried using "beforeSend:" to show the loading animation but it seems like "beforeSend" is not getting fired. The animation works fine when the app is on the same domain (using jsonp) but when I move the app into a different server, everything works except "beforeSend" is not getting called. So users will not be able to see the loading animation. Is there any workaround for this?
