• ASP.Net ListBox selections not working in Panel?

  Hi everyone, I'm having trouble processing a listbox after selecting some items from it. In my markup, the listbox is contained within an asp:panel and is populated during page load in the codebehind. That part works fine. It's when I select various items and submit that I have trouble. My handler loops through the listbox items but doesn't see any as being selected. I'm not sure why. • Problems getting foreign keys working in MySQL

  I've been trying to get a delete to cascade and it just doesn't seem to work. I'm sure I am missing something obvious, can anyone help me find it? I would expect a delete on the 'articles' table to trigger a delete on the corresponding rows in the 'article_section_lt' table.   I'm using imagebuttons that play sounds using SoundPool.   Hello All, I am having an issue with a simple insert query into a table. I have this PHP Code $T_MEMBER = "INSERT INTO T_MEMBER (MEMBER_IDENTIFIER,LAST_NAME,FIRST_NAME,BIRTH_DATE) VALUES ('$memberID','$last','$first','$birthdate')"; mysql_query($T_MEMBER) or die(mysql_error()); Here are a few examples of what the query looks like if i echo it: INSERT INTO T_MEMBER (MEMBER_IDENTIFIER,LAST_NAME,FIRST_NAME,BIRTH_DATE) VALUES ('2007','Hayes','Karin','1958-30-10') INSERT INTO T_MEMBER (MEMBER_IDENTIFIER,LAST_NAME,FIRST_NAME,BIRTH_DATE) VALUES ('2020','Long','Peggy','1968-29-5') INSERT INTO T_MEMBER (MEMBER_IDENTIFIER,LAST_NAME,FIRST_NAME,BIRTH_DATE) VALUES ('2021','Torres','Diane','1968-30-8') BIRTH_DATE is a date type column. • clearTimeout not working in javascript autocomplete script

  I am using the following code as part of an autocomplete script to avoid hammering the server with every keystroke: var that = this; textInput.bind("keyup", function() { clearTimeout(that.timer); that.timer = setTimeout (that.doStuff(), 2000); }); Unfortunately, this does not clear the old timers. • NSIS Uninstaller Working Directory

  I am using NSIS to create my installers/uninstallers, and the uninstaller seems to have a weird behavior. I don't put the installer in $INSTDIR, it is located at $INSTDIR/subdir/uninstall.exe (it's a addon installer for a host application). When I run the installer then, it thinks the application installation root is $INSTDIR/subdir instead of $INSTDIR. It then can't find all the files in subdir/* as it's already in subdir. If I move the executable, it seems to just accept the current directory as where the application installation root is. I can move it to $INSTDIR and all is well. Thanks.

  I am using my gmail's email account to send emails in asp.net website. It works fine on hosting server but it donot works if I try to sent email on loclserver. Please guide me what I should do to make it sending emails even on localserver ? Do I need to install some smtp server on my local machine ? I have not installed any smtp server on my machine.   I have this plunker where i have a button that opens a bootstrap modal dialog box. I the modal, when a course is selected(checked) from this list, it adds 3 to the $scope.planned and also increases the progress bar accordingly. Similarly it also reduces in the same way when a checkbox is unchecked. • C# XPath id() not working?

  I'm using C# and I'm stumped. Does it just not support id()? I have a large XML file, about 4-5 of them at ~400kb, so I need some speed and performance wherever I can get it. I use XmlDocument.SelectSingleNode("id('blahblahblah')") and it doesn't get the node by id. Am I going crazy or is it that C# XPath just doesn't support id()?

• Alarm not working if application gets killed

  Hi, I am trying to use an alarm to set my widget layout after some minutes. Everything works correctly in normal situation but, if I try to delete the process of my application, simulating a system kill, after the alarm is set, then no alarm is executed. Why? • COM+ Connection Pooling Doesn't Appear to be working on SQL Server 2005 Cluster

  We have a COM+ Data Layer that utilized Connection Pooling. Its deployed to 3 clusters, 2 SQL Server 2000 and 1 SQL Server 2005 environment. We noticed today that our monitoring software is reporting Thousands of Logins per minute on the SQL Server 2005 box. I did some tracing in both environments and profiler is reporting this for the 2000 boxes: sp_reset_connection SQL CALL sp_reset_connection SQL CALL sp_reset_connection SQL CALL and this for the 2005 box: Audit Logout sp_reset_connection Audit Login SQL CALL Audit Logout sp_reset_connection Audit Login SQL CALL Audit Logout sp_reset_connection Audit Login SQL CALL Is there some sort configuration for SQL Server 2005 different from SQL Server 2000 that we might be missing that would be creating this issue?

• Watir not working in Windows 7

  I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7. I installed Ruby 1.8.6 and Watir via RubyGems. When I try to run a Watir script, IE opens and the first page is called, but the problem seems to be that the script doesn't wait for the page to finish loading (which it's always done in the past). Subsequent lines in the script try to access page elements that haven't loaded yet. Is anyone else having this problem?

  I am trying to redirect everything to a single page from my /website/folder/ directory. I added a simple .htaccess with this simple code (I know this would require more code in .htaccess but it's just a test). RewriteEngine on RewriteRule .* index.php [NC,L] When I try : http://127.0.0.1:8888/website/folder/fileDoesntExistMustGoIndex I have an "Object not found 404" error and the access.log display: 127.0.0.1 - - [13/Mar/2010:13:48:31 -0500] "GET /website/folder/fileDoesntExistMustGoIndexHTTP/1.1" 404 1118 I have check the httpd.conf and I see nothing that could alter this .htaccess statement. Any idea?

• onclick event not working after ie7 reload

  I am using Javascript to dynamically create part of my page content. A routine that generates a set of img tags is called from the window.onload event. Those img tags are assigned attributes, including an onclick event. The img tags host thumbnail images that, when clicked, change the src property of the image in the main view div. Everything works properly in FF 3.5. I can reload the page and the dynamically generated onclick events continue to fire as expected. In IE7 everything works normally until I reload the page. At that point events that were hard coded into the xhtml section continue to work as expected, and the dynamically generated img tags are shown on the page, but their onclick events fail to work. How can I get IE7 to implement the dynamically generated click events on reload?

  Hello, I want to use the WebKit engine in my Win32 application. I can't find any documentation on the official site, or anywhere else. I know it uses COM, but I can't find any documentation about how to use the thing. I know there are multiple WebKit ports for windows. There is the Apple port, to use it you need Safari, there is the Google Chromium port, there is a Cairo port and there is a Qt port. I'll stick to the Apple port for now. Any hints, links? Thanks

• CodeIgniter's Scaffolding not working

  Hi, I keep getting a 404 Page Not Found whenever I try to access CodeIgniter's Scaffolding page in my browser, like so: localhost/codeignitor/index.php/blog/scaffolding/mysecretword I can access localhost/codeignitor/index.php/blog just fine. I followed CodeIgnitor's instructions in their "Create a blog in 20 minutes" by storing my database settings in the database.php file; and automatically connecting to the database by inserting "database" in the core array of the autoload.php; and I've added both parent::Controller(); and $this-load-scaffolding('myTableName') to blog's constructor. It still gives me this 404. Any suggestions?

Shouldn't mainArray become the new array created by $.grep?

• jQuery not working on Popup Window

  I am using ASP.Net and jQuery + jQuery UI. Everything works fine with the jQuery on any other page, however when I create a popup window with window.open(...) jQuery seems to no longer function. I have all of the script files included on the Popup's Master page, so am not sure why it won't fire. Any Thoughts?
