    I'm trying to find a lightbox style plugin in jQuery that displays thumbnails at the bottom of the picture (or video, or whatever). I found plenty of lightbox plugins, but none that allows navigation by thumbnail inside the box. The plugin must be able to open images, swf and inline content. I realize that jQuery will not be able to generate the thumbnails and that's ok. Do you have any good ones to suggest? Thanks

    I am using the cycle plugin within Joomla and it works fine on IE6,FF,SAFARI,CHROME however when you view it in OPERA breaking happens.     Hi. I want to use this plugin, but I don't know if it'll meet all of my requirements. I know I have to use JSON to fetch the data from the server and then use it at the client side, is that right?. For now, that's fine, because I only have very few records, but when I have thousands of ; will it be convenient to bring all the data at once? What I would like to know is : Is there any way to query the database every time I press the number of an specific page? I ask this cause I don't think is a good idea to load all the data in one go, is it?     Hi, I installed Sphinx and Thinking Sphinx for ruby on rails 2.3.2. When I search without conditions search works ok. Now, what I'd like to do is filter by tags, so, as I'm using the acts_as_taggable_on plugin, my Announcement model looks like this: class Announcement < ActiveRecord::Base acts_as_taggable_on :tags,:category define_index do indexes title, :as => :title, :sortable => true indexes description, :as => :description, :sortable => true indexes tags.name, :as => :tags indexes category.name, :as => :category has category(:id), :as => :category_ids has tags(:id), :as => :tag_ids end For some reason, when I run the following command, it will bring just one announcement, that has nothing to do with what I expect. I've got many announcements, so I expected a lot of results instead. Announcement.search params[:announcement][:search].to_s, :with => {:tag_ids => 1}, :page => params[:page], :per_page => 10 I guess something is wrong, and it's not searching correctly.     I've got an existing pom file that includes a maven-jar-plugin section. It runs for the test-jar goal and is currently excluding a few directories: <excludes> <exclude>...</exclude> <exclude>...</exclude> <exclude>somedir/**</exclude> </excludes> I need to include a file in the somedir directory but leave out the rest of the files in the somedir directory. I've read that includes have precedence over excludes so I added something like the following (there was no includes section before): <includes> <include>somedir/somefile.xml</include> </includes> This ends up creating a jar file for test with only a few files in it (just the stuff in META-INF). The file that I included is not in the jar either. What I'd expect is a jar that is identical to the jar that was created before my includes change with the one additional file. What am I missing here?

This works great when the form is submitted with the submit button but when any of the following events are triggered: - onfocusout - click - onkeyup The validation checks are run but it skips the errorPlacement function and adds the full error message after the field, like the default behaviour. I checked out the code for SVNPublisher, used Netbeans to open the project, and clicked "Debug Main project".     I am unable to load a GPX file in the DDMS eclipse plugin. When specifying a GPX file, no points are added to the emulator control list. I have tried adding KML files as well, generated in Google earth. Is there a way to get these files to work?     What's an effective approach to debug NameErrors in Rails? I'm trying to use the desert plugin (0.5.0) and the edge version of Community_Engine. I've started from scratch and gone through the installation instructions. When I attempt to start my server, I get this error: "Constant RAILS_END from rails_end.rb not found (NameError)". Problem is I cannot find rails_end.rb, nor can I find a google reference to this file or error. I've verified that the required gems are installed and current. I've dug around google and desert, but haven't found any reference to this constant. Any ideas? This doesn't happen.   • Customize jQuery.aptags plugin - mouseclick submit from dropdown list

    Hello, I am using jquery.autocomplete.js and jquery.apitags to select a few elements from a dropdown list. This works great, and I can select multiple elements etc. However the jquery-aptags plugin does only fire when enter is pressed. This might confuse some users if they use the mouse to click instead of the arrows/enter on the keyboard. I think this is the code inside jquery.aptags that submits the tag. // // Hook to the keypress event. // $(this).bind('keypress', { __c: __c }, function (e) { var c = ''; var i = 0; var v = $(this).val(); if (e.keyCode == 13) { e.stopPropagation(); e.preventDefault(); __createSpans(this, v, e.data.__c, true); } }); I am wondering if it is possible to call the method directly from a new event. $('.ac_results > ul > li').livequery(function() { $(this).bind('click', function() { $('#address_city').aptags({__createSpans}); }); }); Any thoughts?

  • error handler isn't called when file is uploaded via ajax using jQuery form plugin

    Here's my test case. If the form is posted, a 500 error response is sent. If not, the form is sent. If the file input tag is commented out, the error handler is called. If the file input tag is present, the error handler isn't called. I think this might have something to do with the fact that jQuery needs to use an iframe to handle the upload and iframes don't seem to respond to the error handler. Edit: If I add iframe: true to the options passed to ajaxSubmit to force the use of an iframe, the non-file-upload case stops working also, so it definitely has to do with the iframe.
