  In Javascript there are a few clearly prominent techniques for create and manage classes/namespaces in javascript. I am curious what situations warrant using one technique vs. the other. I want to pick one and stick with it moving forward. I write enterprise code that is maintained and shared across multiple teams, and I want to know what is the best practice when writing maintainable javascript ? I tend to prefer Self-Executing Anonymous Functions however I am curious what the community vote is on these techniques. Update When I asked this question I didn't truly see the importance of what I was trying to understand. The real issue at hand is whether or not to use new to create instances of your objects or to use patterns which do not require constructors of the use of the new keyword.   With release 12.2.4 for non-referenced RMAs, Order Management will allow you to configure the model from Sales Order / Quick Sales Order windows. This is only allowable when profile  OM: Enable Configuration UI for RMA is set to Yes.  All selected options must be returnable, as well as all included items. Order Management explodes included items and creates options and option classes in a way similar to outbound orders. The application creates all selected components with same line number but different option/component number.  Additionally, the application does not allow re-configuration and/or deletion of any line if any line in the same configuration is received, fulfilled, closed, cancelled, or split. Weld 1.1.1.Final has already been integrated a few builds ago.   I recently started a new job as a contract developer, and my non-developer boss of about two weeks ago gave me the task to re-create an app from another language and developer that he will reuse with multiple clients (replacing the front-end), that I estimated would take longer than his estimate of 12 hours. Two weeks later, I'm 230% over-budget. I admit this was my 2nd web app, I had been a wordpress developer in the past, so I am somewhat new to code igniter, but not shabby php by any means. My boss hired me knowing this and I was clear that it would take longer than his 12 hours. He's seen me in the office on task for 2 weeks, he should be somewhat prepared for this bill. Do I expect the full amount of hours, or do I filter against how much of learned? Can I bill for research as a developer?

  I have the following listening PORT:IP set up on my UBuntu server. 12.345.67.890:3636 It receives requests perfectly, however, I would now like to forward any requests to that IP:PORT to another IP:PORT, i.e.: 09.876.54.321:3636 Essentially I want to do a request forward 12.345.67.890:3636 -> 09.876.54.321:3636. How can I go about it in Terminal and if I wanted to change it back how can I go about that too? Is there also a way to test that the data is forwarding and it is setup properly? Thanks! However, despite the lack of Fusion Middleware specific new features in version 4.28, Remote Diagnostic Agent still comes as highly recommended. It is incredibly useful problem solving / troubleshooting aid. Support engineers dealing with Service Requests often request RDA output as it collects just about everything you might need to get a view of the state and configuration of the host operating system, network setup and Fusion Middleware components. • Xubuntu all Icons disappeared

  I'm running Xubuntu 12.04.1 with kernel Xen4.1-amd64 and the following problem is mine: Nearly all icons have been replaced by the default "no icon available"-icon, even on the login screen and the all icons in software like e.g. Firefox and the icons I manually assigned to launchers, too. Changing the icon theme does not seem to affect this. The only icons that did not disappear are: LibreOffice, gThumb, Simplescan, Ristretto and in the XFCE menu office, tools and graphics. How could I bring the icons back? EDIT: When I tried to use Ristretto the following error showed up: Could not load image-loader module /usr/lib/x68_64-linux-gnu/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.12.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so Unable to open shared-object-file I/O error (Had to translate this to English.)

  I am trying to install codeblocks using ubuntu software center. I found it but when install, I get dependency not resolved, libgcc1...like that. My system ubuntu 12.04, 32bits. Any advice will be appreciated. detailed fail message: codeblocks:depends:libgcc1(=1:4.1.1) but 1:4.6.3-1ubuntu5 is to be installed depends:codeblocks-common(=10.05-2) but 12.11-2 is to be installed. I went to codeblocks "more info" button in Ubuntu software center and selected all the add-ons for codeblocks. Apply changes and now I get an additional (to the two above) dependency message:depends:libwxsmithlib0(=10.05-2) but 12.11-2 is to be installed.

• Oracle Service Contracts – Calculate Estimated Tax with Higher Accuracy

  On a Service Contract the tax rate and its effectivity can change over the contract duration.  Hence, service organizations need to provide an accurate picture of the estimated tax that the customer might end up paying.  Prior to Release 12.1.3+, the Oracle Service Contracts application calculated the estimated tax based on the line/ sub line start date.  With Release 12.1.3+ (via Patch 16601269:R12.OKS.B) , new functionality provides users with an option to calculate tax at contract billing schedule level, thereby considering the changes in tax rate effectivity at that level.A new profile option 'OKS: Calculate Tax at Schedule' has been introduced which can be used to control whether the existing or new functionality is used.  If the profile is set to 'Yes' the application calculates tax at the billing schedule level for all lines/ sub lines.  For more details on the implementation steps and functionality, please refer to Doc ID 1676700.1: Oracle Service Contracts – How To Calculate Estimated Tax with Higher Accuracy.

  Given an array of positive integers in increasing order. Separate them in two series, an arithmetic sequence and geometric sequence. The given array is such that a solution do exist. The union of numbers of the two sequence must be the given array. Both series can have common elements i.e. series need not to be disjoint. The ratio of the geometric series can be fractional. Example: Given series : 2,4,6,8,10,12,25 AP: 2,4,6,8,10,12 GP: 4,10,25 I tried taking few examples but could not reach a general way. Even tried some graph implementation by introducing edges if they follow a particular sequence but could not reach solution.

• Is the June 2010 DX SDK really the latest?

  I have not been involved in game development, using the DirectX SDK, since around 2008. From the looks of it, the June 2010 release, of the DirectX SDK, is still the latest release. This release is more than two years ago, based on the name. Is this still the latest release, or has there been a naming convention change and I am missing something newer? I've seen mention of it being rolled into a Windows SDK, so I am confused and figured I would come here to ask. Thanks
