• CodeIgniter: Page not found when passing parameters to a controller???

  Hello, I'm trying to pass parameters to a control in codeigniter, but I'm getting 404 page not found error, I don't get it, I did what the guide says: http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/general/controllers.html#passinguri <?php class Main extends Controller { function index($username) { echo $username; } } ?> How can I get more info regarding this error from codeigniter?   Hi, I have some errors in my output source code, I'm wondering if there is a tool that is able to look through the site and find which .tpl file my error is in? That, or at least give me a list of .tpls to look through. I can't seem to find this error and the site isn't very well documented. I'm not the best PHP programmer, I'd be looking for an online resource or something pretty simple. Thanks very much.

• Silverlight project fails to compile

  I have a Silverlight 3 project in VS2008. Today, for whatever reason, I get an error when compiling. Configuration system failed to initialize It reports the error on Line 1, Column 1 for every .xaml file in the project. I did a repair on VS2008, reinstalled all the Silverlight 3 bits (e.g. SDK, VS2008 tools and the Controls Toolkit), but the problem still persists. Am I missing something simple?

• Visual studio 2010 Errors out on starting "-832" is not a valid value for property "width"

  My Visual Studio 2010 was working fine this morning (I run in in XP sP3 under Paralles) I restarted the entire laptop and I started getting this error. I even uninstalled VS2010, deleted the Visual Studio 20010 directory on the My Documents area and reinstalled it, and it is still giving me that error every time I try to start it. I'm not sure if stackoverflow is the place to ask it, but I am at my wits end trying to get this running again (trying to avoid rebuilding the entire Virtual PC) Does anyone know how to fix this?

But on top of my php code file I have error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', '1'); But still, if there is an error, e.g. missing a ")", the page is blank. It is so painful to debug without error message. Why were the errors not shown?

If the username/password is correct everything works fine however if the username/password is incorrect I get the following error: PHP Warning: ldap_bind() [function.ldap-bind]: Unable to bind to server: Invalid credentials for some reason I am not able to look at the errorno or the state of the bind variable afterwards to print the appopriate user friendly error message. any ideas?

  Do I need to pay the $30 just to play around in the sandbox for Website Payments Pro? I'm trying to get Active Merchant working in Rails, and it's giving me an error "invalid merchant configuration"... after digging around a bit it says I need to "accept the billing agreement" and/or sign up for the Payments Pro first. So, do I need to pay the $30 just to test in sandbox? Or is there another workaround for this error?

• Redirect in Application_Error redundant if using customErrors?

  If I have a customErrors section in my Web.config that says to redirect to Error.html, then putting code in the Application_Error method in the Global.asax to redirect to Error.html is redundant is it not? Technically, I could bypass the Web.config by redirecting to a different page in the Application_Error method if I wanted to, but since I don't want to go to a separate page I don't think I need the code.
