    Hi all, I have my JAVA_HOME set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_18 After I run maven install I get this message from eclipse: Reason: Unable to locate the Javac Compiler in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\..\lib\tools.jar Please ensure you are using JDK 1.4 or above and not a JRE (the com.sun.tools.javac.Main class is required). In most cases you can change the location of your Java installation by setting the JAVA_HOME environment variable. I'm certain that this is the tricky part Please ensure you are using JDK 1.4 or above and not a JRE When I run configuration its set to JRE6, how do I change it to JDK 1.6 which I have already installed EDIT I even tried to modify the plugin : <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.0.2</version> <configuration> <source>1.6</source> <target>1.6</target> <executable>C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_18\bin</executable> </configuration> </plugin> Still I get the same error Maybe I forgot to say I use eclipse maven plugin .. how can I change from JRE to JDK in eclipse ?

VarType is 13 object for the dictionary e.g. but this dict seems to be different then the Scripting.Dictionary. I checked codeproject.com and stackoverflow all day and didn't find any hints exept some thread on stackoverflow where someone mentioned there is a need to created a IDispatch interface. So anyone ever had the same issue and can help me or give me some hints I can go on with?

    In this post I asked if there were any tools that compare the structure (not actual content) of 2 HTML pages. I ask because I receive HTML templates from our designers, and frequently miss minor formatting changes in my implementation. I then waste a few hours of designer time sifting through my pages to find my mistakes. The thread offered some good suggestions, but there was nothing that fit the bill. "Fine, then", thought I, "I'll just crank one out myself. I'm a halfway-decent developer, right?". Well, once I started to think about it, I couldn't quite figure out how to go about it. I can crank out a data-driven website easily enough, or do a CMS implementation, or throw documents in and out of BizTalk all day. Can't begin to figure out how to compare HTML docs. Well, sure, I have to read the DOM, and iterate through the nodes. I have to map the structure to some data structure (how??), and then compare them (how??). It's a development task like none I've ever attempted. So now that I've identified a weakness in my knowledge, I'm even more challenged to figure this out. Any suggestions on how to get started? clarification: the actual content isn't what I want to compare -- the creative guys fill their pages with lorem ipsum, and I use real content. Instead, I want to compare structure: <div class="foo">lorem ipsum<div> is different that <div class="foo"><p>lorem ipsum<p><div>

  • Server 2012 GPO: PowerShell Script on Computer Startup not running

    I've got a couple of Server 2012 instances on Amazon EC2 and I'm in the process of setting up the GPOs. All of the settings of the GPOs are being applied fine, except none of the PowerShell scripts specified on computer startup are actually being executed. The scripts are sitting on a UNC share which has Authenticated Users applied to it with full permissions. I'm assuming it probably has something to do with the Execution Policy, but I'm not sure how to automatically bypass it. I could just go in each instance and bypass the Execution Policy, but that's obviously not a good idea, plus I'm eventually going to connect Windows 7 computers that will be running the same scripts. How can I get the scripts to actually run? Google searches hasn't yielded a whole lot...

  • Excel COM Add-In dialog interrupts script

    Hi all! I have written an Excel COM Add-In in C++ for automation of Excel with VBA. It contains an own dialog showing some general informations about the Add-In. Now i create a button in Excel that opens the dialog. Leaving the dialog with the escape key leads to an Excel message that the script is being interrupted instead of just closing the dialog. I could suppress the interruption message with: Application.EnableCancelKey = xlDisabled But that seems not to be the solution as the script can not be interrupted any more.     I am trying to write a custom script that will keep a list of strings in a textarea. Each line of the textarea will be a row from a table. The problem I have is how to work the script to allow for adding, updating, or deleting rows based on a submit. So, for instance, I currently have 3 rows in the database: john sue mark I want to be able to delete sue and add richard and it will delete the row with sue and insert a row for richard.     Hiya I am very new to C#, infact this is basically my first task set by work whilst i learn the language. Yes i am also new to programming, be gentle :). Context: My script needs to query active directory, grab of OU's and put them to a combo box in a form. Next query ActDir for a list of machines in a selected OU (Done this in a vbscript already) Next query the machines in turn for there IP, and MAC addresses.(Done this in a vbscript already) Next needs to shut those machines down(Done this in a vbscript already) and dump all the machine and NIC info to a txt file The other half of the script grabs the info for the machines out of the text file and sends them a magic packet to wake them up. The shutdown section i have already written a VBscript for, but decided it wasn't future prrof, and i was learninc C# at home, so figured it was the best option to start over with. Im not looking for anyone to write this for me, but if anyone had any pointers on where to go for information etc. . . It would be more than appreciated :)
