    I don't find a CanGrow property on the Textbox control. This is common in some other controls, and what it does is expand the control to acomodate more data. Anyway to get this feature in the TextBox?

  • Terminology for mobile computing with a tablet?

    This is more of a terminology question... I'm developing an occasionally connected application that will run on a tablet for clinicians or field service workers but I'm struggling with what this type of computing is referred to. Mobile computing as connotations of a phone app. Whereas our clients may be occasionally at their desk. Microsoft uses Smart Client a lot, but I'm not sure if that best describes this scenario or is the common term for this kind of computing.

    Hello, I have a simple problem on .xhtml page. This expression is not working :- <a href="Photos.jsf?albumId=#{item.albumId}&blogId=#{PhotoAlbumsCommonBean.blogId}"> photos </a> I get this error :- Error Parsing /Common/PhotoAlbums.xhtml: Error Traced[line: 20] The reference to entity "blogId" must end with the ';' delimiter. & is causing some kind of error.     I'm trying to get a SQLite3 DB to populate a wx.ListCrtl. I can get it to print to stdout/stderr without any problem. I just can't seem to figure out how to display the data in the DataWindow/DataList? I'm sure I've made some code mistakes, so any help is appreciated.   • Best Way to View Generated Source of Webpage?

    I'm looking for a tool that will give me the proper generated source including DOM changes made by AJAX requests for input into W3's validator. I've tried the following methods: Web Developer Toolbar - Generates invalid source according to the doc-type (e.g. it removes the self closing portion of tags). Loses the doctype portion of the page. Firebug - Fixes potential flaws in the source (e.g. unclosed tags). Also loses doctype portion of tags and injects the console which itself is invalid HTML. IE Developer Toolbar - Generates invalid source according to the doc-type (e.g. it makes all tags uppercase, against XHTML spec). Highlight + View Selection Source - Frequently difficult to get the entire page, also excludes doc-type. Is there any program or add-on out there that will give me the exact current version of the source, without fixing or changing it in some way? So far, Firebug seems the best, but I worry it may fix some of my mistakes. Solution It turns out there is no exact solution to what I wanted as Justin explained. The best solution seems to be to validate the source inside of Firebug's console, even though it will contain some errors caused by Firebug. I'd also like to thank Forgotten Semicolon for explaining why "View Generated Source" doesn't match the actual source. If I could mark 2 best answers, I would.

    Hi. I aw working on cross site authentication (some domains have got common authentication). So I want to send authentication data (login, password) to main domain from others. How should I use protect_from_forgery and how can I check if data received from valid domain? What I am thinking now is to turn off protect_from_forgery for session controller and check domain name of received data. But maybe I can configure CSRF protection for not only one domain?

    The most common method is to assign a sequential order field for each item in the list and do an update that maintains the sequence with every ajax sort operation. Unfortunately, this requires an update to each item of the list every time someone sorts. This is fine for small lists, but what's the best way to implement sorting for larger lists that are constantly updated? I am looking for something that minimizes DB IO.

How I tell hudson that there is this dependency? I figured one thing I could do is setup a custom workspace and specify the location for all projects, but how do I wire up the dependency between them all?
