• Applying ServiceKnownTypeAttribute to WCF service with Spring

  I am trying to apply the ServiceKnownTypeAttribute to my WCF Service but keep getting the error below my config.   Hi All, We have a situation where we want to use filter for URL's containing some specific request parameters. e.g htt://mydomain.com/?id=78&formtype=simple_form&....... htt://mydomain.com/?id=788&formtype=special_form&....... and so on , id are fetched at run time, I want configure filter in web.xml only if formtype=special_form.   Right so i am working with hibernate gilead and gwt to persist my data on users and files of a website. my users have a list of file locations. i am using annotations to map my classes to the database. i am getting a org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException when i try to add file locations to the list that is held in the user class. this is a method below that is overridden from a external file upload servlet class that i am using. when the file uploads it calls this method. the user1 is loaded from the database elsewhere. the exception occurs at user1.getFileLocations().add(fileLocation); • My ashx stopped working (Works locally, but not online)

  i have a simple ASHX file that returns pictures upon request (mainly a counter), previously the code simply fetched pre-made pictures(already uploaded and available) and sent them to the requester.. i just modified the code,so it would take a base picture, do some modifications on it, save it to the server, then serve it to the user.. tested it locally and it worked like a charm. however when i uploaded the code to my hosting service (Godaddy..) it didnt work. Can someone point the problem out to me? Note: ASHX worked with me before,so i know the web.config and IIS are handling them properly, however i think i am missing something .. • I keep on getting "save operation failure" after any change on my XCode Data Model

  I started using Core Data for iPhone development. I started out by creating a very simple entity (called Evaluation) with just one string property (called evaluationTopic). Then, I created new files off the entities by pressing "File - New File - Managed Object Classes" and created a new .h and .m file for my four entities, including the "Evaluation" entity with Evaluation.h and Evaluation.m. Now I changed the model version by setting "Design - Data Model - Set Current Version". Do I need to do any mapping (even though I just added entities and properties that did not exist before?). In the Apple Dev tutorial it sounds very easy but I have been struggling with this for long time, never worked after changing model version.

• Polled I/O on MIPS

  Hello , i'm currently implementing a calculator in MIPS which uses the polled I/O method for fetching information. I put a beq $v0, 120, exit # exit if input = ('x') on the main part of the code to tell that whenever something is fetched is equal to x, it should branch the exit function. The only problem is that my code works fine with the keyboard/display simulator on MARS but i get the interrupt exception 6 on SPIM. Why is this happening and how can i help it ? //Thx in advance

  I'm having trouble trying to use Volley's NetworkImageView with an InfoWindow of Google Maps API v2. My markers shows an InfoWindow with an image fetched from the internet. As you know, the only way to do this is to show the InfoWindow and refresh it when finished downloading the image. So I need a way to know when the NetworkImageView have finished downloading the image so I can refresh that view. I'm looking for something like onLoadComplete Any ideas?

  Hi guys: Searched on here and got some vague answers, so I thought i'd rephrase the problem to get some clearer answers- Right now I have an SQL Lite db that reads/parses information from a pre-formatted .txt file. When I open the app, there is a slight 'lag' as the iDevice parses the info, then gets fetched for the iDevice. I'm just wondering if there's any way to just 'save' all the information directly in the xCode so there's no lag/fetch time? Thank you.

• Core Data passing context between methods on secondary threads

  My app spawns a secondary thread for some core data store maintenance. In the secondary thread, I set up a context which I then pass to other methods e.g. [self editEntriesInContext:context]. However, this causes objects fetched from the context to become invalidated in editEntries... Why does this occur? I thought the only requirements were for the secondary thread to have its own context and managed objects, which I adhere to. (Note: The context is properly retained)

• After writing SQL statements in MySQL, how to measure the speed / performance of them?

  I saw something from an "execution plan" article: 10 rows fetched in 0.0003s (0.7344s) How come there are 2 durations shown? What if I don't have large data set yet. For example, if I have only 20, 50, or even just 100 records, I can't really measure how faster 2 different SQL statements compare in term of speed in real life situation? In other words, there needs to be at least hundreds of thousands of records, or even a million records to accurately compares the performance of 2 different SQL statements?
