  It appears that the NetBeans UML plugin has been discontinued, as per a discussion on the NetBeans forums. This was a great, free tool with nice model-code and code-model generation. There are a number of other UML NetBeans plugins out there. However, I've never used any of them. Any suggestions?

  (This was asked before but the answers were not conclusive) While I love development using Xcode (3.2.1), I have the need to port some projects to other UNIX systems, and even Windows. The code is all C++ but fairly complex. I'm looking for a way to automated / semi-automated generation of equivalent Makefiles out of my Xcode projects, after getting tired to do this by manual trial-and-error. Thanks for any hints. • Swing's KeyListener and multiple keys pressed at the same time.

  Hi everyone, is there any conventional way in swing of tracking down the events, when two keyboard keys are pressed at the same time? I have a couple of ideas e.g. remembering the key and event generation time so that we could in a consecutive event handler invocation check the time difference between these two events and decide, whether it's a two-button event or not. Phew. But it looks like a kludge. Thanks in advance.

  I would like to add custom attributes to a MySQL table which I can read via php. These attributes are not to interfere with the table itself - they are primarily accessed by php code during code generation time and these attributes HAVE to reside in the DB itself. Something similar in concept to .NET reflection. Does MySQL support anything like this? Thanks.

• SQL join produces one result only

  Can anyone please tell me why this result is generation only one results? taking in mind that everything is set right and the three tables are populated correctly, i took out the group_concat and it worked but of course with a php undefined index error!   Hi! Is there an easy way to get the relative compliment of two sets? Perhaps using LINQ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complement_(set_theory) I have to find the relative compliment of a set A relative to B. Both A and B are of type HashSet but I think the algorithm could be made more generation (IEnumerable or even ISet)? I could use a solution in either vb.net or C#.

  I am currently in the process of setting up ndepend report generation as part of Continuous Integration build process using CruiseControl.Net, I have followed the instructions outlined in ThoughtWorks Website. The ndepend tasks runs fine and the reports are generated correctly but when I goto the dashboard and try to bring up the ndepend reports, nothing comes up (it displays blank). Does the cruisecontrol dashboard application expects the ndepend report in a particular file under the working folder or the artifact folder ?

When I put multiple tables on one page, they just get put over each other and not under each other. Is this normal behaviour and what can I do about it?   I have worked with random functions in python,ruby, MATLAB, Bash and Java. Nearly every programming language has a function to generate Random numbers. However, these apparently random sequences are termed as pseudo-random number sequences as the generation follows a deterministic approach, and the sequence seems to repeat (usually with a very large period). My question, can an algorithmic/programming process ever yield true random numbers ? The questions probably is more of theoretical computer science than just programming !

  Each day an application creates a file called file_YYYYMMDD.csv where YYYYMMDD is the production date. But sometimes the generation fails and no files are generated for a couple of days. I'd like an easy way in a bash or sh script to find the filename of the most recent file, which has been produced before a given reference date.
