• Best way to encrypt a directory of files?

  I need to programatically encrypt a directory of files, like in a .zip or whatever. Preferably password protected obviously. How can I accomplish this, and WHAT IS the BEST encryption way to do it, if applicable? Programming language doesn't matter. I am dictioned in all syntax.

  Hi all I have a program that creates a small file in the Bin directory for the purpose of tracking a license (that's the intention), all works fine when debugging but I've just realized that when I run it on a IIS server under the anonymous user account (IUSR) the file isn't created as IUSR only has read permission (I know this is correct but drat!). Can I write to another location under IUSR account or can I run my code under 'Local Service' account? Thanks

  I keep getting the following error when installing Ruby 1.9.3-p125: It seems your ruby installation is missing psych (for YAML output). To eliminate this warning, please install libyaml and reinstall your ruby.   Hi, My team and I are programming a sort of Document Manager and the idea is to store them completely on DB. Is there a protocol or Extensions that allows us to show a "Virtual Directory" or files that are really non existent (only in DB). How does Sharepoint do this?
