  • Pick video using PhotoPickerPlus?

    Is there a way I can pick video using photo-picker-plus instead of a photo? When I check the media type using: NSString *mediaType = [info objectForKey: UIImagePickerControllerMediaType]; I always get public.image (even when I pick a video). On a related note, is there any other SDK similar to photo-picker-plus for picking video from different sources? UIImagePickerController could be an option. But, I am looking for something that is as versatile as photo-picker-plus. Anil

    I have created this widget class DateTimeWidget(forms.TextInput): attr = {'class': 'datetimepicker'} class Media: js = ('js/jquery-ui-timepicker-addon.js',) Then I use it on my form class SessionForm(forms.ModelForm): class Meta: model = Session def __init__(self, *args, **kwargs): super(SessionForm, self).__init__(*args, **kwargs) self.fields['start_time'].widget = DateTimeWidget() self.fields['end_time'].widget = DateTimeWidget() No css class is applied to my fields (I'm expecting datetimepicker applied to both start_time & end_time). I imagine I have put attr at a wrong location. Where am I supposed to specify it ?

  • Whats happening to my HTML?

    I am making changes to my website, and I just noticed that things look different. In IE, the content doesnt center, theres a margin on my content, and the font looks bigger in chrome.. I ran it through Yahoo's HTML validator and the error I get is line 1 - Error: character "" not allowed in prolog. I believe that there may be some sort of whitespace being sent before the DOC TYPE, but I cant seem to fix it. The HTML looks fine in my text editor (Notepad++) so I dont know what the problem is. Im using a strict DOC Type. Everything was fine before I made any changes, but I cant pinpoint what caused the change. If it helps, I'm using a Framework (Kohana). My initial thought was that something was being sent to the browser by an echo or something, but I couldnt find any echo statements. I dont know what could be causing this... If you want to see any code or HTML just ask. Thanks.   • Extract wav file from video file

    I am developing an application in which I need to extract the audio from a video. The audio needs to be extracted in .wav format but I do not have a problem with the video format. Any format will do, as long as I can extract the audio in a wav file. Currently I am using Windows Media Player COM control in a windows form to play the videos, but any other embedded player will do as well. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks

  • AddThis share button wont work in DotNetNuke

    For some reason when I add a HTML module (well the default module added to DNN 5.4) and then add the "AddThis" javascript. While the button shows up clicking on it opens up a new page rather than showing an iframe modal message or on hover a list of popular social media networks to share the page with. Wonder what would be the easiest way to resolve this and why this happens?

  • Is it possible to transcode audio in C# using DirectSound?

    I want to transcode a lot of audio from its source format to PCM without resampling or messing with the sample size. I figure if Windows Media Player can play the file and it doesn't use a legacy ACM codecs it must be using DirectSound to do so (this is on Windows XP and Windows Server 2k3). So is it possible to access DirectSound from C# and do so? I've tried searching the web but all the examples have been about playback which I have no interest in doing.

    Hey I have this program that has been working fine until I tried to open this one wav file? Not sure what the problem is or that I understand it? Do I need to find a new component to use for this file or what? I am using Delphi 4 Pro and the standard VCL component for Media Player. I am looking for a good new component that offers more help with wav and mp3 files too but not found what I am looking for yet?

    Just notice that after updating to Safari 5 (mac) all the flash applications that respond to resize events got sluggish. try: http://www.tutorio.com/media/flash/liquid-demo.html this works great with firefox 3.6.3, Chrome can deal with it fine, although not so fast as Firefox, but new Safari gives a awful experience, distorting all content if you do fast resizing. Any ideas why is this happening / and how can I get a better performance with safari browsers?

  • WP7 silverlight custom control using popup

    Hi guys, I'm creating a custom datepicker, I have a textbox, once clicked it opens a calendar within a popup. What I want to do is change the size of the popup so it shows my whole calendar, but I can't manage to change it..., I've tried using Height, Width, MinHeight, MinWidth... but it doesn't work, the popup keep showing with a fixed size. The thing is that my popup's parent property isn't evaluated since it has expression issues (according to debugger), so I'm sure my popup's parent isn't the main screen( say layout grid). How can I for example make my popup open within a specific context ?     Why would bitmap outperform vector? My Flash is for a large Kiosk, with rich media requirements and must function accurately as a counter. I want to keep everything vector for scalability. When I did a simple FPS test, I noticed my Bitmap version performed perfectly, and the all vector file was noticeably slower. PLEASE EXPLAIN • vector performance• what graphic standards I can apply• solutions for using vector KIOSK TEST ANIMATION RESULTS • only text and bitmap perform well, not vector • background and clouds OK, but more layers slow it down

    The Mono 2.6 distribution contains System.Media.SoundPlayer, but attempts to play result in no sound (and no errors) on Mac OS X. All I can find with Google search is obscure references to ALSA. I posted to the Mono-OSX list, but there have been on replies there. I hope someone here has an answer. I think I need to tap into CoreAudio, but don't know how from Mono/C#.

Now, to do that I'm using the following code. var transform1:SoundTransform=new SoundTransform(); transform1.volume=0; flash.media.SoundMixer.soundTransform=transform1; Which solves the problem (mutes all sounds) but now there is an issue, I want to stop all sounds but one.   • Google analytics event tracking not working.

    I have this code setup to track image downloads throught Google Analytics. <a href="/media/37768/CC20100117m001_thumb_2000.jpg" onclick="pageTracker._trackEvent('Image', 'Download', 'file.jpg');" class="hi-res track"> Hi-Res</a> But the events don't ever show up in the GA reports. I thought maybe the the browser was following the link before the javascript was being run but setting href="#" doesn't work either. Any ideas?
